When lab grown were coming out, so many diamond sellers were saying they weren't real and that they'd refuse to sell them..they were terrified. Now they're all selling them.
Yep, now more people can afford them and the lab gems have thw same or better margins. A good saleperson can double the profit on a lab. Put the two rings next to each other one 15k the other 3k, wait a min let me check the price on that. 15k vs 3650.
Agreed. The fact that there is barely any secondary market for diamonds should be proof for anyone that diamonds (natural or lab) are worthless at resale.

I always like how Micheal mentions people with lower budgets and suggests how they could afford something nice, on a budget. It shows he's been there in the past. 😊 And his feet are still on the ground.
There are more poor people than rich people, so making content with poor people in mind means more clicks and more money for him, that's all social media is, nothing is actually from the content creators feelings or beliefs
He's not doing it because he sympathises with you it's because it appeals to his viewers, marketing and actually caring about the lives of those you market to are two different things.
Not sure how true that is. Most people watch RUclips / TV as an escape from reality. They don't want to see what they can afford unless they are specifically looking for it.@@bdegrds
Fascinating video, I purchased my wife some lab grown diamonds when they first came out not because they were cheaper but because I was so excited by this brand new technology. They are earrings and just look like exceptionally good diamonds which they in reality are!
In Western Australia where I live, we have a diamond mine that produces the worlds best pink diamonds. They have made the commercial decision to close the mine. They have stocks that are probably not selling due to the cost vs lab grown. Diamonds are bad investments these days. Stick with gold.
Yeah but if you have the budget to be buying argyle diamonds, you might as well buy to hold and park your money. Its guaranteed to retain and go up in value.
Buy a lab diamond, honestly. The whole “it doesn’t hold its value” argument is so played out because most diamonds do not hold even 25% of its value unless it’s a brand name, near or absolutely flawless or rare. You can gift a loved one a bigger, higher quality diamond if you go lab, plus it’s more environmentally friendly and humanly sourced.
@@Mike.The.Jeweler exactly lol people just don’t want to admit that they like the social admiration that comes with own naturally mined diamonds, which is cool, but using incorrect information to support that feeling isn’t.
Most people buy diamonds that is already put in jewelery and usually ppl who can afford diamonds wether that be natural or Lab will not have to resell their jewelry,1200 usd for a stone that sparkles is still insane for regular folk
Exactly on point. Makes total sense to go Lab grown specially for young people or those with less resources. Nobody cares if it's from Deboers, Tiffany these days. It's not like people are going to carry a diamond tester or loup to inspect your diamond. More $$ in your pocket.
@@Lionheart732 You can't tell if it's a lab with a diamond tester or loupe. It looks and tests the exact same as a natrual mined stone. Only way to tell is a super expensive spectrometer that looks for nitrogen, since most natrual stones have nitrogen, where as most labs don't.
I bought my wife a natural diamond engagement ring… told her about the lab grown so she did some research. After learning she could get a slightly bigger, better diamond for a quarter of the cost she wanted me to return the natural diamond and get the lab grown in its place. She is very very happy with it and that’s all that matters to me. I too prefer the natural because it’s just that.. but she’s happier with the lab so it’s good 👍🏻.
Did you also realize De Beers has enough natural diamonds in safes to last the world another 50 plus years. They hold them to jack up prices and control the market
My jeweler: "A child is no less a child if they were fertilized in a beaker/lab via IVF. There's no reason to look at a lab grown stone any differently. The end result is still just as precious". Sold.
Im sure if you wanted your wife to have natural birth vs lab created child you would choose natural, things made in nature will allways have more value in our hearts, because we are created by nature, mother earth, so don’t fall for the adds, money is just paper, if you have it just buy the natural earth diamond so your wife wont have to lie to her friends or me tion the word synthetic to her friends.don’t downgrade yourself
These comments don’t reflect the narrative of how poor Africans are lowered to ungodly claustrophobic depths to retrieve natural diamonds … if true… any stone is better…
2 or 3 months salary was started when that salary equated to a $800 to $1200 ring on the high end. Costs of living was different then when you could buy a home for $27,000 and a new Corvette for $4500
Love the video as usual. I asked my wife what she would prefer after describing prices for a 2 carat. She said she would prefer natural. I would always disclose nature or man made to my wife. Honesty is always the best policy
So spend double/triple the price just bc the wife says “natural”…… as if she or any jeweler she would take it to would be able to tell if it was natural or lab grown. She sounds like a red flag…. She wants natural tell her you want a natural….see how that goes hahaha
@@survivalSC are you suggesting they are somehow labeled inside the diamond? Kid WTF are you talking about 😂. They are “labeled” on the certificate. A lab grown diamond through a loop or microscope looks exactly the same as a regular diamond….. and “lab grown diamonds” are exactly the same as other diamonds, same exact makeup etc. it’s impossible to tell the difference without the cert. but if you want to spend triple the price, have at it. At the end of the day it’s a rock….from earth….. only made famous really in the 60s through marketing…..
Very informative vid, I really did not know lab diamonds had come down in price as much as they have. Interesting to note there was a day when the finest natural pearls were more expensive than diamonds. That all changed when cultured pearls were developed. It will be interesting to see how the future unfolds for diamonds.
Love the video, very informative. I have all natural diamonds, just got an upgrade at 25 years to a 3.5 carat natural radiant cut and I honestly do love the fact that it’s natural but we had the budget for it. I now have children that are buying engagement rings and I 100% support the lab grown choice for both my sons and their budget and my daughter and her desire for a large stone! Also, one thing that wasn’t mentioned, it seems that the new generation feel that the lab grown is more environmentally friendly as well as more ethical??
WOW! Great exploration and a reality check as was the first lab grown diamond video with Mr Patrick Fay at Big Diamonds USA. Awaiting the Peter Marco Clunkers to emerge on the scene.
My hubby purchased a 3 ct marquise cut lab-grown, set in a 14K yellow gold band with platinum prongs as my engagement ring. That thing was too huge for me! I was uncomfortable. We exchanged it for a 1 ct size marquise and it's perfect! I don't care that it's not natural. We don't like the stigma of "blood diamonds" so we chose lab, and we're not made of money, either. We got a really beautiful ring and didn't have to break the bank.
I would be very happy recieving a lab-grown diamond and I would also be very happy with a smaller, higher quality natural diamond. That was a fun video. Thank you Michael, Adam and Happy Jewelers 😃
companies like debeers have been holding back supply for many many years to artificially inflate prices. not to mention child labour and exploitation of a countries resources. lab grown are the best thing to happen to the diamond industry in my opinion.
Wife and I talked about upgrading our rings after our 20th year anniversary. After looking at both lab grown and mined, we went with the lab grown. If it's molecularly the same, and visually identical, there really isn't much of a reason NOT to go with the lab grown. AND it was much cheaper. At the end of the day folks can make their own choice, but now you have an option that won't hurt your wallet and is identical to the other.
THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE except the price (Both are made from carbon). Like, there is no difference between Ice naturally made at the North Pole and Ice made in your home freezer. Both are made from water H20.
I have read lab grown diamonds loose their luster radiance over time. The price is so affordable it could easily be replaced when the time comes. I think both are lovely it is really up to the individual to decide which one works for them. This video is wonderful! Thank you!
One carat lab grown cost 25$ to produce that s why jewelers love to sell them ( huge profit) , they also need a small natural diamond to grow on it and need lots of electricity for the pressure and temperature needed to make them . Synthetic emeralds , rubies and sapphires were used by big brands, like cartier , van cleefs etc in the 1920´s , today every one wants natural stones … let see what will happen
the jeweller doesn't pay the price at production, they get cut (labour costs) then pass through multiple hands that all want their own margin so by the end when it gets to the jeweller to be set the margins aren't significantly higher, based on what they're saying in the video if you watched it at all and the market trends people don't want mined nowadays like they used to so no idea where you got that from.
Gem quality rubies, emeralds and sapphires are significantly rarer than diamonds for the most part. The diamond scarcity that makes it pricey is artificial. Lab grown should reduce that artificial price increase.
I'l buy both! Natural has more meaning and investment potential particularly natural color diamonds while lab created diamonds are just bought as accesories.
Natural is a depreciating asset. With lab growth, natural values will fall, due to lower demand. And with the inflating supply each year, there's not enough demand to eat up the supply
@@neilwattoo do not be an ignoramus! Pink diamonds for example have risen in value HIGHer than real estates and putting your money in the bank! Red diamond used to costs less than $1 million dollars per carat and today they are at least $7 million dollars per carat! My engagement ring is a lab grown 2 carat. It’s beautiful and a size that is completely believable. We’re middle class, have a nice home in a nice HOA community and drive newer Nissans. In my opinion, anything larger than a 2 carat and you should be getting out of a Mercedes when you pull up to your million dollar home or it will be assumed you’re wearing a CZ or a moissanite. My lab grown was within our “pay cash” budget at $2,500 and a real diamond. Enough said.
At 13:00 min, he mentioned about a brown blue tint to diamonds having a lower value even if the color, cut & clarity is top quality. What is the definition of that brown blue tint called? Is there a word for it? That seems quite important and wasnt explained in detail in the video
A number of years ago a guy stole $20 million from a bank, he then spent the cash on a cash of diamonds. When he was caught the diamond sellers refused to return the cash to the bank, and no-one was willing to buy the diamonds for that value. In the end the bank was stuck with the diamonds which they had to sell of piecemeal. Diamonds or worth less than a car, A car dealer will usually buy your car back if returned within a week, diamond dealers will pay you 30-50% less than what you paid for your diamond.
There's no "natural feel" difference between lab grown and natural, they look and feel exactly the same. You won't be able to tell the difference unless you carry around a specialized device 🙂
They consolidated and signed a gentleman agreement. Also you have to build the lab, pay people and the retail need to make money too. There will be a silver lining to the price
nothing, the resale value is already a fraction of the retail price. the truth is with lab a lot of the price comes from the cutting and labour that goes into the stone so they'll always have at least the base line price from the labour that goes into it and the cost of the CVD machines or the cubic presses that are used to manufacture them. as time goes on and the methods get more efficient and further perfected they'll get even cheaper and you'll get large high clarity stones for even less. mined diamond will suffer too as the only difference between lab and mined is phosphorescence. at the end of the day the value is purely marketing as diamonds are not rare at all, sapphire, emerald and ruby are all rarer. the only rare diamonds are naturally coloured ones. natural and millions of years old means nothing at all, the iron used to make the cutlery in my kitchen draw is also natural, millions of years old and mined, same with anything that comes from the earth its all fluff and marketing.
Since it takes about 6 weeks to grow a 1 carat diamond there is a limit to how cheap it can be when you consider the equipment costs, and having to wait 6 weeks before you can make a sale. Which is probably the current prices. Now if they find a way to grow them in a week or a day, than you'll probably be able to buy them at Dollar General.
@@Alex-go3jn Well that's pretty good then. If you really want a pretty shiny stone to wear, buy something used that is chemically identical to something that's 100x more expensive. Sounds like a cracking good deal to me.
I went natural for my 1st engagement- and will do lab for our 10yr anniversary- upgrade to a 5carat lab emerald cut with the savings we are taking a trip to Egypt to see the pyramids
I just upgraded to 5 carat radiant lab in platinum with natural diamonds on each side. Couldn’t be happier. I love both and honestly most people cannot afford large carat weight in a natural choice. I have nothing negative to say about lab especially if you do not plan to go bigger or sell it. They are every bit as real and beautiful.
I have always LOVED my diamonds. I used to have a pair of real diamond earrings that were a reasonable size….devastatingly I lost one, but sadly they weren’t insured ,😢😢😢 My hubby purchased some CZ earrings to replace them years ago ( couldn’t tell the difference back then) as I didn’t trust myself not to loose them, I had also in the past lost a bracelet that was specifically made, gold horse shoes with rubies at each end…it was stunning and I lost it on our honeymoon moon. I now have ALL my diamonds and gold insured, lol, I also lost a yellow and rose gold bracelet, luckily it was insured and was able to get a replacement. So because of all my mishaps with jewellery….seems to be the bane of my life, I would DEFINITELY LOVE one of those huge lab grown diamond rings. I love the bling ! Even if I had millions I would still buy lab grown, you seriously can’t tell the difference and they are still “diamonds” just sped up grown diamonds. 💎💎💎 Thanks for the video Michael and Adam, interesting as always. ! Love from Australia ❤❤❤
I'd never want to sell you insurance on jewelry but was a smart move to get your jewelry insured since you just leave it laying around no matter where your at.
Upgraded my wife's engagement ring for our 10th anniversary. We went with lab, really a no-brainer. Exactly the same, chemically, structurally, visually and practically, for way less money. She loves it!
Lab buyers, pleeaaassee stop saying they are exactly the same and visually the same when that is the farthest from the truth. Labs are real diamonds yes, but not the same as natural diamonds, if they were there would be NO way of telling them apart, no way at all. The reason they can be told apart is because they are not the same. Blue hues, brownish pink and grey hues and metalic inclusions which natural diamonds do not have. I'm happy your wife loves her ring and I'm sure it's pretty, I'm just tired of hearing people say they are exactly the same when it's not true. Even the GIA at a seminar gently slapped the wrist of jewelers for not educating themselves about lab diamonds and not being honest with their customers. It's on youtube you should look it up it's very interesting.
They are literally the same to the naked eye and through a loop. The ONLY way to tell the difference is with a high-powered microscope and reading the serial number where it says "lab-grown." So unless your friends carry around a high-powered microscope and look at your ring with that, no one can or will be able to tell the difference. If you have friends like that then you have bigger problems!!!! Save yourself some money and get a lab-grown.@@usfanlovesminho5085
@@usfanlovesminho5085nope. They are the same. Unless you have the equipment to distinguish trace chemistry or test for phosphorescence… they are both diamond, same properties.

For the people who say: “jewelry is a bad investment and diamonds are worthless!!” why is that when i check the spot price of gold, it’s still being traded and sold? Same with natural diamonds. You nay sayers are nothing but mindless consumers who know nothing of commercial trade. Money is created upon security interests. Therefore as long as someone wants to possess what they do not have and someone else has what they want, they will settle on an amount to have that thing. Creating an economy and a trade market.. please stfu. Lab diamonds are for people who have 1 foot in and 1 foot out.
Bought my wife a natural diamond for $10k when we got married, we traded it back in now for our 10th anniversary and with that money bought her a new ring that was triple the size and had money left over for her to get necklace and earrings. Lab grown diamonds are a no brainer, the vast majority of people will never buy natural again as it makes absolutely no sense.
I would buy lab grown. If my wife asked how much they were, I would happily tell her, and then she would want more because they are so cheap. Diamond is her birth stone anyway so she has tons of them.
There is something special and alluring about wearing a singular diamond. A naturally mined diamond has a rarity factor that makes it more appealing than a mass-produced imitation. Knowing that the earth produced a diamond over millions of years makes a real gemstone feel more sentimental and valuable than one whipped up in a sterile laboratory
It would be intersting to see you do a video comparing moissanite to lab grown diamonds. Also, would love a video investigating whats happening with these Frankenstein watches that are more and more frequently appearing in the marketplace.
As a jeweler myself who has to polish the film of Moissanites. They are not a diamond! After a year or two they get a oxidization layer on them that cannot be cleaned. They don't even come close to a lab or natural diamond in light performance, durability or wearability. ...And if you are a real jeweler you can tell without any magnification.
Agreed and as you can see they hate LGD even more. Trying to sell the same natural stuff for 10x price searching for excuses like no resale value etc. Pure desperation, gold rush is over

I think there's something special about buying something that took millions of years to be naturally made with heat and pressure. An object that is OLDER that dinosaurs. Its pretty cool if you think of it. BUT if i got married, an engagement ring at $2k is a great idea.
@@Alex-go3jn The only process metal ever underwent was in the death of a star. It takes tons of ore to get even 1/2 carat of diamond. And chances are that 1/2 carat is not worthy to put into jewellery. Natural jewellery quality diamonds are relatively rare and finding larger of those gets exponentially rarer. Diamonds come from 10s of millions of years of formation and had to really beat the odds to not reach the surface as scrap. So no, not at all comparable to metal or 'fossil juice' as quality diamonds are actually special after all. Please learn about things before spouting nonsense about them.

I would go with a lab grown or moissanite, the only reason diamonds are more expencive despite being more common is the greedy companies that keep the price high. I don't want to support that with my money.
I can't understand why someone would deliberately want to pay more for exactly the same only to be sure that the process that lead to them holding the diamond certainly was more wasteful, probably child labor involved, if not at least people are being exploited on the way. Why would someone chose this over a clean lab grown diamond (imagine, maybe created with renewable energy)

In essence: on a lab grown your spending basically for having it made but it’s a worthless stone. It’s like buying glass. A natural diamond is not an investment but it’s real and you can get some money back. I’d rather get a very high quality half carat real natural diamond for her for an every day use where it won’t get in the way. Not to big not to small, won’t get stuck on anything and if she accidentally loses it down the sink I’m only out maybe $2700 (diamond only) with setting maybe 3400-4000. I’ll do a half carat natural very high quality. Thank you for this video it helped me a lot
My fiancé and I talked about lab vs natural diamonds when discussing engagement rings. She is big on ethically sourced everything, so we went with lab. We both realize as the tech scales and becomes more readily available, lab will depreciate harder and will eventually become much cheaper to produce overall, but that really didn't matter to either of us.
Labs already are much cheaper to produce than naturals. The profit percentage on labs is much higher than in diamonds. Labs are making the fat cats even richer.
You could have bought a diamond from Canada and many other places with ethically sourced mines. Also labs are worthless once you buy it so depreciating is not something you need to worry about since it has no resale value right out of the gate. But I'm happy you like the diamond you ended up choosing.
But why does it matter if it's a diamond anyways you see someone on the street with a diamond you wouldn't be able to tell if it's a lab or natural without the cert in his back pocket, has no resale value but the loss from buying a natural diamond at the same cut and carat and selling it is more than the price of the lab diamond all together.
@@TristanOvery That's always been the way. Most people can't tell what you've got by just looking at it. In my opinion, diamonds have always been overpriced because it is a "must have" for engagement... There is literally no reason to choose a natural diamond over a lab grown, other than spending more money. Also, I don't think you really need a ring to get married, might as well enjoy a good vacation together instead 🤷
I haven't purchased any lab grown yet but I wouldn't hesitate to do so. I've been married to my wife for 20 years so I am not concerned with resale and she wouldn't care either way. value is king
I must admit I enjoy a natural diamond more than lab grown. However i do have some diamonique pieces that give me a good sparkle. Just buy what looks/feels right and hits your pocket in the right way.
I love that it's called the Sherlock Holmes Machine. That's definitely what we need to tell the difference here, I couldn't tell them apart at all. Very educational video, thank you.
It detects type IaA lattice impurity arrays which is signature of natural diamond, lab grown diamond is type IIa lattice (100% chemically pure diamond).
If you add natural diamonds to a watch you won’t get one penny back for them if you sell it. In fact, you’d most likely devalue the watch itself as well.

I agree with what he says that if you're buying a tennis bracelet or earrings, you can buy the lab grown. But if you are buying an engagement ring for your lady, it must be natural. It's a bad start to buy a ring based on fake Ness.

most diamonds are from commerical mines in places like russia what you are reffering to might have happened years ago but its not really the case anymore.
I bought my fiance a Lab-Grown Diamond and shes just happy that it's considered and tests positive as a diamond. Plus it was much better quality than natural ones that were priced 5x more.
You could buy natural and throw in an exact replica for a few grand more - lots of folks don't like wearing the real stuff out, they chose costume jewelry that looks identical - why not gift someone the real deal and the inexpensive costume jewelry for wearing out without fearing losing or dropping or misplacing or replacing - plus, lab can be made perfect or black or blue or whatever on demand, unlimited, plus I want a lab created diamond encrusted front grill - pretty sure -
People pay for rarity and romance. Labs have neither of those and that's why they will always be worth a lot less than naturals - which have both. The same is true for very good synthetics in other gemstones and is also true for all sort of collector's items and paintings and so on.
Love, that continue to defend the natural diamonds to some extent. People buying these for rings are better off buying lab grown and using any extra money to help fund the wedding/ honey moon OR better yet, A HOME.
I think the prestige with diamonds is this. No humans were hurt in the making of this. 🎉 So the value to lab grown would come in the human aspect of owning, knowing it had nothing to do with the term blood diamond, which is the part most people with good hearts stay away from diamonds.

He's not doing it because he sympathises with you it's because it appeals to his viewers, marketing and actually caring about the lives of those you market to are two different things.

I'm in the same boat here. Just proposed this last week, but i feel like she wants mined. Any woman who is smart enough to want lab is a keeper.
I would be very happy recieving a lab-grown diamond and I would also be very happy with a smaller, higher quality natural diamond. That was a fun video. Thank you Michael, Adam and Happy Jewelers 😃

I want and will only get the natural period. I don't care about size, I care about the real natural feel of the dimonds and other gems.❤
There's no "natural feel" difference between lab grown and natural, they look and feel exactly the same. You won't be able to tell the difference unless you carry around a specialized device 🙂
What's to stop lab grown from becoming very cheap and worthless as more lab grown manufacturers come to the industry?
@@Alex-go3jn 100% it's all a big farce
Since it takes about 6 weeks to grow a 1 carat diamond there is a limit to how cheap it can be when you consider the equipment costs, and having to wait 6 weeks before you can make a sale. Which is probably the current prices. Now if they find a way to grow them in a week or a day, than you'll probably be able to buy them at Dollar General.

I now have ALL my diamonds and gold insured, lol, I also lost a yellow and rose gold bracelet, luckily it was insured and was able to get a replacement.

It is also worthless.

@@Alex-go3jn The only process metal ever underwent was in the death of a star. It takes tons of ore to get even 1/2 carat of diamond. Man made diamonds is about 100 usd here in Asia with certificates. Diamonds is 100 times more expensive despite being more common.
I can't understand why someone would deliberately want to pay more for exactly the same only to be sure that the process that lead to them holding the diamond certainly was more wasteful, probably child labor involved, if not at least people are being exploited on the way. Blood diamonds are still the best value.

5:39 buy it for $1200, sell it back for $500 lose $700
$2300 difference still good to have a lab dimond!
On my opinion it's better a small natural diamond then a lab one.
But that's irrelevant because people still want the exclusivity from buying an original piece of art or designer suit/purse or natural stone. People thought lab emeralds would destroy the natural market too -nope!
@@usfanlovesminho5085 You liars about resale value. Show me the side by side public sale of the same diamond.
I am intrested in purchasing a ring but always wanted to know this information
I appreciate the knowledge in which you and the guys at happy jewelers shared
In my opinion, diamonds have always been overpriced because it is a "must have" for engagement... There is literally no reason to choose a natural diamond over a lab grown, other than spending more money.
Also, I don't think you really need a ring to get married, might as well enjoy a good vacation together instead 🤷
I haven't purchased any lab grown yet but I wouldn't hesitate to do so. I've been married to my wife for 20 years so I am not concerned with resale and she wouldn't care either way. value is king
Hi
Value depreciation on natural diamonds is the main factor for me to choose the synthetic diamonds.
They are NOT synthetic! They are REAL DIAMONDS.
I must admit I enjoy a natural diamond more than lab grown. However i do have some diamonique pieces that give me a good sparkle. Just buy what looks/feels right and hits your pocket in the right way.
As a gem lover I will always want the natural diamond.
Problem is lab grown is only worth what you paid for. Lab grown has zero value.
Diamonds are horrible "investments" anyways. Huge spread
Everything is only worth what it is sold for.
If you add natural diamonds to a watch you won’t get one penny back for them if you sell it. In fact, you’d most likely devalue the watch itself as well.
diamonds worthless in general its just your hype around them
@@Olav3Ddiamonds have increased year on year for the past twenty years in 5 8 and 12% increments of investment so respectfully don't speak on matters you're uneducated on. Cheers.
I wouldn't buy a diamond as an investment. The only thing you should keep for hard money is gold. Diamonds arent as rare as people think.
I will always buy the natural because of it's spiritual power. Same with rubies and other stones
This is an excellent explanation for everyone
I agree with what he says that if you're buying a tennis bracelet or earrings, you can buy the lab grown. But if you are buying an engagement ring for your lady, it must be natural. It's a bad start to buy a ring based on fake Ness.
Hi how are you doing
This is a popular misconception since understanding that synthetics are real requires a certain level of basic chemistry understanding as well as objectivity/common sense… not everyone has those. Also yes this is a rather condescending statement but reality hurts sometimes
Great Video Michael and friends!
Natural only for me.
You meant the mining ⛏️ ones
I'd buy the one that didn't support slavery and murder in 3rd world countries...
then your issue is the supplier, not the stone itself
most diamonds are from commerical mines in places like russia what you are reffering to might have happened years ago but its not really the case anymore.
Lol wake up to reality, there's no slaves, especially no slaves forced to mine diamonds🤦♂️
So then you will buy them both!
Hope you don’t write on an smartphone that have gold , lithium and especially coltan if you want a slave, war free product
I think it depends on circumstances. If it was a general gift then lab. If it was a special occasion I'd buy natural.
I bought my fiance a Lab-Grown Diamond and shes just happy that it's considered and tests positive as a diamond. Plus it was much better quality than natural ones that were priced 5x more.
That’s why are all diamond dealers have yehuda Sherlock Holmes machines. Red is lab grown and blue is natural.
I've bought 3 diamonds so far and all of them are lab grown and I'm 100% happy with all of them.
Same with pearls.
Love, that continue to defend the natural diamonds to some extent. People buying these for rings are better off buying lab grown and using any extra money to help fund the wedding/ honey moon OR better yet, A HOME.
I think the prestige with diamonds is this. No humans were hurt in the making of this. 🎉
So the value to lab grown would come in the human aspect of owning, knowing it had nothing to do with the term blood diamond, which is the part most people with good hearts stay away from diamonds.
I can’t wait for my two 1 carat d vvs2 lgd to come in! Nearly absolutely perfect and going in to 14k white gold solitaire studs to match my plain white gold band.
Hello producer Michael! I love your videos on lab grown diamonds!
On your next lab grown diamonds video. (If you choose to make another one) you should visit a laboratory where they’re actually growing them.
