Thanks mate this helped Me understand my nibbi pe26 that's iv just fitted to my yx140 I'm hoping going to sort it now when I get a minute.. thanks from the 🇬🇧
@MartinRacingChannel all fitted and it runs like a dream cheers mate 👍 I only had 1 problem I fitted a splash proof air filter and it wasn't getting enough air so was struggling so I fitted a high flow foam one and it sorted with no bogging
@abdielparra268 You could probably run the 22mm but I'd go with the 19mm because it'd be easier to tune. You can click my link in the description and the 22mm will pull up, the 19mm will be listed as well. If you need a link to the 19mm let me know.
Bought a Nibbi for my Tao Tao 250 tbdr7. I couldn't get it dialed in for nothing. I had some issues with the throttle slide not coming all the way down. The throttle cable had plenty of slack so it wasn't the problem. I ended having to put my stock back on.
I remember buying a taotao real cheap owner replaced carb but couldnt get it going. Turns out he had placed the cable outside the spring and cap bearly spinned on. Ran fine after replacing new carb
@goblingangftw It ought to run pretty good. My brother sold his to a guy that has ran the bike super hard for over a year and it's still running without smoking.😁
Great video, very informative. On one of your other videos you mentioned that on the air fuel mixture screw you went all the way to the right and then came back 1 1/2 turns. Is that what you ended up doing again on this one?
Hello brother I'm blessed to have bumped into your channel I just got my son for Christmas the x pro storm 125 cc and after putting it together notice right away the carburetor that comes with a it's not good at all can't even be adjusted please tell me exactly which carburetor I can replace it with I feel bad my poor kid wants to ride and the bike is just sitting there thank you for your help God bless you in Jesus name
This one in the video description works great and is easy to tune and get your bike running great. For the time being check your manual it shows how to adjust your stock carburetor. It's a slow process to take the carburetor off without a swivel, but it can be adjusted and done in less than an hour. Make sure your carburetor is getting gas and make sure when cranking you're not pulling in the clutch. Let me know how it goes. Thanks for watching and God Bless you all too!
@jorgepomales7456 Sounds good. If you want to save some money, you can get the gray version of the carburetor it's a little cheaper than the black , but it performs the same. Make sure to buy an air filter at the same time. That is in the description also. Good luck with everything. If you need help, don't be afraid to comment.
Mixture screw bring it to where is happy then screw in 1/4 to 1/2 turn in . You are not looking for high engine noise. Rich is king. This way the pawwa is always there. They 1/8 turns at a time trust me is worth dialing it in. And is so snappy and you will know once you know you dial in the widow maker.
Yeah for my YX 125 it`s coming waaay too rich, bogging like hell and I only know it`s a Rich bog because the plug is blacking up. So far dropped needle one notch and smallest (#30) pilot jet put in. Still burning rich and still terrible bog........gona try drop the needle to position 2 and see how lean I can get it on the airscrew. Talk about a work in progress.
I got the same carb and I cannot get it dialed in for nothing. Black soot on the plug and exhaust so it's rich, but giving it less fuel and adjusting the idle it bogs when you slowly get on the throttle. Im stumped. Also is your choke way up I'm there with this setup? Tough as hell to choke mine
@jpenadelaify If you are running the nibbi filter, the bike runs a little rich. To tune it, the fuel to air needs to be screwed all the way in, start the bike, and turn the idle screw to where the bike is idling at the rpm you like. Then, start to turn the air to fuel ratio to the left in very small increment like 1/4 turns. Rev the bike each time you make an adjustment to see where the bike runs the best. Don't adjust your carb until your bike has warmed up at least 2 minutes. Make sure your choke is all the way in before you start adjusting. The bike is easier to tune with the uni air filter to me. The bike doesn't run as rich as it does with the nibbi air filter. You might need to adjust your needle for where you live I'm in Louisiana. If you can't dial it in with the needle , then you will have to drop down a size on your jets. Follow your manual pamphlet to determine if you need to go down on your pilot or your main jet. Mine burns perfect at wide open throttle, it's a little rich at idle and putting around. I ride at 1/2- wide open most of the time so the stock jetting has worked for me.
@@MartinRacingChannel thanks man I'll give that a try seems like I've tried everything besides swapping jets or moving slots on the needle. I'm running the Nibbi filter with it and I'm in East Tx real close to Louisiana Line
Great. Now what does the plug look like. I got my 22mm nibbi dialed in. Ran amazing! Pulled the plug and it was clean which means probably lean which means no good
My plug looks great at wide open throttle check. Just normal riding it's a little rich. You probably need to move up one jet size on the main jet. I would clean the plug or use a new one and ride how your going to ride and check it again. When I put my big bore kit in my plug looked like that and then after a few wide open pulls is started to get a chalky white tint. I was just going to move up a size on the main until it gets a light brown color.
i just installed my nibbi two days ago on brand new hawk 250.. started up fine and rode it around for half hour. tried to start today and giving me issues
@nickdecos3980 Make sure the red idle screw hasn't changed they can get loose sometimes also check air to fuel screw it could've been bumped. If everything is the same you could have had bad gas and the jets are stopped/ clogged up now. Just take the bowl off remove the jets clean them make sure you can see through every hole. Also your fuel line could be pinched you can check that first by turning the gas on, then opening the drain. There is a screw you can open on the bowl to let the gas drain that way you can narrow down your issues. Good luck with it. Let me know if you get it figured out.
Just curious. What jets would you reccomend? I am about 400 ft above Sea level and I have the same carb. I have the jetting kits, but don’t know what to run as a test. What would you reccomend? I have the same exact carb.
@@MartinRacingChannel yes sir I have been messing with all of my jets. I am running a 4 stroke 1 cylinder motorcycle. The previous person provided no information on my carb. I have a 400 ft above sea level. Running 30 Pilot Needle 4th, 107/8 Pilot I’ve tried from 30 through 38. All 5 needle positions and working from 100-110 on my main jet. Nothing seems to find the happy medium. Still have issues cold starting as well. It’s just a lot of issues I’ve been trying to self diagnose.
@parkchaops287 Was the bike running fine with the stock carburetor? I would have ran the stock jets first just like it comes from the factory one the 4th needle clip. What issues are you having. I make sure I'm not bogging at all in the rpms then check my spark plug to make sure It's burning the fuel correctly.
@ so I bought the bike with the Nibbi Carb. He had a 30 pilot, 4th clip and a 100 Main jet. I had complete power loss in the main jet. So I upsized to the 108. I have issues with backfire. I don’t know if it’s rich or lean based off the sounds. Acceleration is not an issue. It’s just when I engine brake, the pops are noticeable. He never informed me the stock settings.
I have a Pentor 125cc and a Nibbi 22mm. I set it up as you showed. Everything works fine but there is bogging at the bottom. From zero trottle there is bogging. There is no bogging at higher rpm. I didn't change any nozzles.
Lookup how to adjust the needle. That is supposed to control 1/4-3/4 throttle. Probably just needs a little more fuel. If I understand correctly. If that doesn’t help you might just try the next the next size (slow) and see how it does.
@@MartinRacingChannel Like seriously. It was bogging with the stock badly, so I bought a Mikuni and it was ok... but not great mid range torque. But I threw the Nibbi 22mm on and holy crap... no bog, rips between gears with no hesitation. I didn't change jets, just set idle screw. Fantastic recommendation.
Been thinking of putting one on a Syx Moto 125 wonder if it will install correctly. My bike has to idle high to run and if I grab a ton of throw I’ll shut down
Take a look at the location of the carburetor on my bike compared to yours. If the location is the same or similar, you should be able to make it work. You definitely will be able to tell a difference in performance.
ruclips.net/video/6vstOzQzi1U/видео.htmlsi=ce4xiBd4XAc3KPj4 I think if you're running the stock 212cc the 22mm might be what you need. Check out the link I have in the reply. It's a build on the bike you have with the 22mm nibbi.
@@MartinRacingChannelwell actually I had a new tillotson 212cc starting with stage 1 and then upgraded to mikuni after the carb was keep bogging the engine first try I didn’t bother fixing it and wanting to upgrade it to Nibbi carb just wanting to ask if if either 22 or 24 mm would work for more horsepower from your advice my friend 😢
Following instructions but something is wrong on my end, i have a 2012 TaoTao 125cc dirtbike, i replaced the carb with a nibbi carb which is why i was watching this video, after installing everything my throttle cable is too long, only adjuster i have is on the handle, i have it all the way adjusted and its still too long, when i look in the side of the carburator i see my thrortle line in there moving up and down when i hit the throttle its like its hanging too low in the carburetor. Its the stock throttle line i had with the old carb and worked just fine, only difference i did was replace the carb, any suggestions why its like the throttle cable is too long now
How did you manage to eliminate failures when the gas was suddenly opened? I did the same, but for some reason it didn't help. Probably because my regular one is gray and not black
@@egor132-d8o I was only able to do this with the 22mm carb. I tried this with a 24mm on the 125 first and was unable to eliminate all of the bog. I was close ,but never as clean as the bike runs with the 22mm.
@ridingwithmischief I should have gone a little further into detail. I meant the air to fuel ratio...The air screw turned clockwise makes the mixture richer, anticlockwise will make the mixture leaner. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment.
it doesnt matter if you have a air screw or a fuel screw the do the same thing just in the opposite direction... so to clarify on your comment you would be incorrect
I ended up removing it and just running a breather hose out of the engine. I ran it behind the engine down in front of the swingarm. There is a bracket for the hose to go in. If you have an email address you can send me an email and I'll send a picture.
@barrynordstrom331 I just left it open, you can add a breather if you'd like. It's just up to you. They are set up that way from the factory to be California legal.
Been struggling with my Boom Vader 125-10BD and getting the stupid thing tuned right. It came from the previous owner with a VM22 clone carb already installed - slight bog on accel, not a lot of low- or mid-range power, but good top-end. Plopped on a Nibbi 26mm. Better low- and mid-range power, top-end is meh, and it bogs a LOT if you rev it quickly. Stepped down to a 24mm Nibbi, and it's only slightly better than the 26mm. Bought a bunch of extra pilot and main jets, tried all different needle and air screw settings, nothing gets any of them 100% where they need to be. No idea how the heck so many other folks have been reporting their 24mm and 26mm Nibbi carbs work great without any bog on their 125cc's.
Me either, I was able to dial in the 24mm pretty good , but not where close to the performance of the 22mm. If you watch the other video linked in the description you can see the results there... I'll have to go back through my videos on my old phone and see what the best setting is that I found for the 24mm and let you know.
24mm carb setting that worked best for me 110 main jet 35 pilot jet You will have to see what needle clip setting gives you the best result. I think I had it in the center. This combo gave me a perfect spark plug on wide open throttle , but there was still a very slight hesitation when twisting the throttle off idle. I was going to try a 34 pilot and 36 pilot jet and see which would fix it. The kit from Amazon only had a 32 and 38 pilot, and neither of those were better than the 35 pilot jet. Hopefully, this helps some. Let me know what you end up doing.
@@MartinRacingChannel Unfortunately, no. I wound up switching back to the VM22 clone and it runs pretty good. Still a bit of bog, but not terrible, and my top speed is around 60 MPH, so it's good enough, I guess. Just sucks that I now have two Nibbi carbs just laying around in boxes in the shed - waste of money. 😞
I'm not familiar with those bikes. Check on nibbi racings website to see if they have a carburetor that will work for you. You can also send them an email.
Just built a Mega moto 212 with a Tilly 212. I put a 24mm Nibbi on it and I'm loving it. Fired right up! maybe 3 pulls. Now I just gotta dial it in. Great carbs and looks second to NONE! Their filter is sick looking!
Wot pulls with a shut-off look really nice. Just putting around not staying on the throttle all the time could be leaned out some to be perfect , but all around pretty good looking. I use to have pictures ,but I think I've deleted them.
I'm running the 22 mm with the factory jetting 98 main 32 pilot on the 4th needle clip. Every bike is different on the air to fuel screw. Make sure your bike warms up for 2 to 3 minutes. Turn your air to fuel screw all the way in, set your idle at the rpm you like. Begin turning the air to fuel screw to the left in 1/4 turn increments and rev the throttle each time you make an adjustment. When the bike isn't bogging and you can cleanly rev the bike you should be good to go. My bike is a little rich at idle, but great everywhere else. Spark plug looks right at Wide open throttle check.
@@MartinRacingChannel I've got the X-pro X26 125cc which is basically the same thing as the Storm. Installed the VM22 26mm carb and it's much better than the stock but it still bogs 0-1/4 throttle. Hoping the Nibbi 22mm will better suit the 125cc. There's another guy on here with an SSR 125cc that's running the Nibbi with a 40 pilot jet, 105 main jet, and the needle on the 5th position, and the air/fuel screw at 1.5 turns. I was just curious how close yours matched up
@@prosc10driver Let me know what you think once you get one. I have the link in the description to the carburetor and air filter. You can save money by getting the silver carburetor. Same performance just not coated black.
@@MartinRacingChannel So I installed the Nibbi 22mm. Stock jetting I could not get it to run right at all. Still has a slight break in the 0-1/4 throttle response. Went to a 100 main and 35 pilot, seemed to do a little better but not 100% where I would like it. Being that it is in the low 20's for temps that may be a factor as well
@prosc10driver Temperature could definitely be a factor, but you should be able to get it dialed in all the way. Have you tried different needle clip positions yet?
I just got a nibbi pe22 for a 125cc pitbike and cant get the jetting right it came stock with a 32 pilot and a 98 main i got a jet kit and have it close with a 40 pilot and a 102 main, needle clip 4th spot. Do you know what size jets where in your 22mm nibbi by any chance? Just so i know im not way the hell off...lol.
I was able to run the stock jets and adjust the needle clip to the 4th position. It was the 98 main and 32 pilot. Your bike might make a little more power than mine, so it needs more fuel. Jetting takes a while to get it perfect , but once you get it dialed in, it will be worth it. It sounds like you're on the right track.
I ended up removing it and just running a breather hose out of the engine. I ran it behind the engine down in front of the swingarm. There is a bracket for the hose to go in.
@@MartinRacingChannel awesome thank you so much I'm getting a 125cc pitbike and I heard their carbs are terrible so that's why I'm just going to buy a high performance one for mine
I'm not sure if it will be fine without or not. You might be able to go to a local hardware store and find a plastic washer that would work? It'd have to be something similar to their design so it doesn't deteriorate. I tried looking on nibbi's website and they don't have one listed. I'm sure you could email them and they'd have one they can send.
More than likely, the jets are stopped up. I would take the carb off and take the bowl off. Take both jets out and clean each jet make sure you can see through each hole in both jets. Reinstall and you should be good to go.
very informative and thorough video, i have a grom clone with nibbi pe26 and i tried to copy your strategy but i still cannot get it to tune. my biggest issue is when i twist the throttle quick the engine sputters, slow throttle revs does fine
@tmo9301 I had a similar issue when running the 24mm on mine. I dialed topend in perfectly, but I kept struggling to get the off idle dialed in. I got it close but was never successful. I spoke with Nibbi and they told me I had too much Carburetor and should go to the 22mm. Have you changed out the pilot jet for a smaller one yet? Or adjusted the needle clip at all?
@MartinRacingChannel I just adjusted the needle to the #4 spot like you mentioned in your video, I have not changed any jets yet do you have any recommendations?
I just rerouted the hose to hang behind the engine to the left of the rear shock. Another person in the comments said they put a little air breather filter on it and put it in an area that it didn't interfere with anything. It's up to you... It's a crankcase breather
@@MartinRacingChannel worked great!! Crapy Chinese bikes now I need to tighten my chain or possibly get a new chain lol I have the xpro x9 125cc and it’s been nothing but problems 😂
@averyramos8700 Definitely need to invest in some loctite. If you haven't bought an aftermarket chain that needs to be on your list. Cheap chains stretch pretty quickly, even good ones can. They are fun to play on, but there is a good bit of wrenching that has to be done. Can't beat the price though. I've been working on mine today as well. I have rode the mess out of though so it's to be expected 😁
@user-ru4xb3tn5i I believe 98 and 32 it will tell you on the paper in the box which jets the carb is supposed to be set up with from the factory. I could possibly move down to a smaller pilot jet because idle is a little rich but wide open is perfect and that's where I ride most of the time.
I would check throttle first. Do you have a full range of throttle any binding of the throttle cable? Next what air filter are you running? When you pull the choke on a cold start does it die or run better?Have you adjusted the air to fuel screw and the idle knob? Are you running the jets that came in the carburetor or changed to different jets?
I got it stay on now after watching your video again I was turning the gold screw to the left which was cutting off gas😅. But I still got bog happening
How the hell did it idle perfect on the first start? I cranked mine up and idled so high sounded like It was going to blow up. Tried to tune it still doing it
@AbmotorVlog713 The idle knob was probably adjusted differently. Turn the knob to get the idle turned down, then start adjusting your air to fuel screw.
@AbmotorVlog713 Do you have full range of the throttle? The slide could be 180-degrees out if not. The next thing I'd check is the jets, maybe some trash got in the pilot jet. That could cause it to not won't to run unless you have the choke on.
I got a nibbi 26 on my 140, has a lot of engine work, I'm pretty sure it would beat a 190 wpb with ease. Short vid of it on my channel, it's for sale btw
I took a longer hose and connected it to the crank case breather. I ran the hose on the back of the engine through the metal holder on the engine in front of the swingarm. Some people put a small breather filter on it and reroute it. It's up to you.
Im wondering, and ive read through these comments and I haven't seen anyone with the same issue. What are the two separate fuel lines? Theres one right at the mouth of the air intake and one down on the bowl?
The one at the bowl is for draining the bowl. You can open it with the screw below the bowl to drain the bowl before making jetting changes. The one at the mouth of the intake is from your gas tanks petcock valve. It's how your carburetor gets fuel from your tank.
@@MartinRacingChannel I guess I shouldn't say separate fuel lines because I'm not 100% that's what they are. My bike uses gravity to fuel the carb, via the fuel port at the mouth of the carb. The Nibbi carb I have has a whole line running from the bowl and I didn't know if that was a vacuum line or something? Do carburators need a vacuum line pulling fuel through it's jets?
@brylanshaw2092 Which carburetor did you buy? Have you looked at the manual that comes with it in the box? The Nibbiracing website has diagrams and manuals on the website as well.
@@MartinRacingChannel I got the Nibbi PE26 and that's the part that's driving me nuts, The carb didn't come with a assembly instructions for whatever reason and I've been looking all over there website and I guess it's just supposed to be common sense. I sent them an email so I guess I'll wait for that. I put it on and it runs great the way I think it's configured.
I got a klx 110 using keihin PB18 carburetor, my bike is stock, I only changed to aftermarket full set exhaust & racing ECU/CDI. I saw this nibbi PE 19 sold online & I wonder is it good for my bike just to get better response, well they have the 22mm too. please advice 🙏🙏🙏
I have a stock crf110 and was planning to run the 19mm nibbi very soon. I think if you are planning to keep your bike stock bore, the 19mm will be better. The 22mm would probably work great as well, but it may take a little longer to jet and tune correctly. I learned on the 125cc engine that a bigger carb isn't always better. My bike runs better with the 22mm than the 24mm.
@Dirty123 You can always buy one from my Amazon link and if it doesn't fit return it. You get your money back fast. We use Amazon Prime, not sure if that makes a big difference. We had to return some clothes and they put the money back in our account super quick.
Okay thank you. The bike hasent came in yet but I’m trying to order ahead of time. The bad thing is, I can’t see it cause I don’t have the bike so I don’t know 🤷♂️ Do you?
@@saudislicc I'm not sure, I used the bolts that were in my stock carburetor. You could take your manifold off and see what would screw into it and be long enough for the carburetor flange mount.
Hey what did you do with the cable that plugged in your other filter cause I noticed that the nibbi filter doesn’t have a hole to plug it in? I’m changing mine tomorrow I’ll help if I’ll let me know.
I removed it and ran a hose from the back of the engine where the original hose is connected to, to vent There is a spot for the hose to clip into in front of the swingarm.

@@MartinRacingChannel that i dont know but it would make my mixture richer. Im guessing that there's a seep in the fuel screw probably because i have a huge pilot jet
@napadaanlng69 It definitely would, I just wondered if it'd quit seeping, then you could adjust your jetting if you had to. Send Nibbi an email, they were really helpful to me. Just tell them exactly what's going on and ask for help.
What jet size are you running pilot and main, NO ONE will say what theyre running they just keep saying "the stock jets work" ive tried a 15-50 pilot and the bike will not run, with 2 brand new nibbi carbs. one 22 and one 19. stock carb runs perfect its just not able to be opened to clean so i wanted a replacement i could clean and service, but im starting to slowly understand these nibbi carbs are overated untunable junk.
I've had nothing but good results with mine. Not sure if you watched the performance test, but it was a huge improvement over stock. I'm running the 22 mm with the factory jetting 98 main 32 pilot on the 4th needle clip. It is a little rich at idle, but great everywhere else. Are you putting it on a 125cc 4 stroke engine? If you continue to have issues email nibbi they will get you what you need if you have bought the wrong size.
I'm using Nibbi PE 24 black version about 6 month, acceleration is better than stock carb but at ilding mode not stable, when ilding at place, engine temperature 70°C, i start tuning and everything is good but after ride on way about 10 minutes, ilding mode is very rich, i can confirm Nibbi carb is unstable for daily use.
Hey there, i tried 24/22 and 19mm nibbi on my 125 154fmi yx, i ended with 17mm nibbi with 38pj, 100 main... bigger nibbi can't work for me, in this video, the air screw is at half turn, it's not good , he need biger PJ, i tried 40/45/48/50, same issue, the slall 125 4 stroke engine can't handle big carb
PLEASE HELP! I need serious tuning help i have a 125cc apollo rfz and i cant get it running off of choke. I tried everything possible but i cant get anything working
I bought it today and when I threw it on and got it started this idle sky rocketed and I can't get it back down. I figured because the carburetor was new I wouldn't have to take it apart and clean it
On the sheet that comes with the carburetor tells what each is for... the red one adjust how high you set your idle the small when that you adjust with a small flat head is for adjust your air to fuel ratio. It allows more or less fuel depending on which way you turn the screw.
😕What did you change? Have you tried putting it back like it was? You can always start over fresh and set the idle and adjust the air to fuel screw until the bike revs clean.
@CroEk913 Make sure your spark plug isn't almost fouled out and your air filter is clean too. The last thing I'd check is the connections on the cdi could be loose. That will make them run horrible.
@CroEk913 Well you know it's not fuel related. I would check the spark plug and make sure your getting spark. After that I would make sure you are getting a good connection at the cdi box. Unhook the 2 connectors and the clip them back on and make sure they are on really tight if not crimp the connector a little then push them on.
Check out the link I sent you. There is a chart for what carburetor to run and how to determine what is the correct carburetor for your engine. You can always send an email as well for them to specify which carb would be best for you.
I ran the factory main and pilot jetting. The only adjustments I made to the Carburetor was to the air to fuel screw and idle screw at the end of the video.
I tried a 24mm first and I had to do a bunch of jetting changes to get it to run decent, but never got it dialed in perfectly. I made a video comparing the performance between the 22mm and the 24mm. It's in the description, you'll have to check it out.
Hey man not sure if you can help or not. I have the same carb and I recently did a bunch of work on a 2000 xr80r and decided to upgrade carbs since it bogged a lot. I rebuilt the bottom end and all that. So I wanted a higher performance carb. Anyways when installing the carb I cannot get the throttle to snap back. I am using odi lock ons on protaper xr50 bars. Pe throttle cable as well. Throttle cable is long but even without it on the throttle tube it won’t snap back at all. Thank you and hope you can help
Unscrew the red cap on top of the carburetor that the trottle cable goes through and make sure the cable is running through the spring and o ring. Once you do that before replacing the cap back on twist the throttle and make sure nothing is binding. The next step will be making sure the slide is all the way seated in the carburetor. Sometimes, it can be 180 degrees out and cause the issues you're having as well. Let me know how it goes tomorrow.
On the nibbi racing website, it says the 19mm carb is suitable for the apollo 110 and 125cc dirtbikes. However, it also says the 22mm carb is suitable for 110cc-130cc dirtbikes. I think as long as you stick with either the 19mm or 22mm you'll see a noticeable difference in performance. I wouldn't get one any larger than the 22mm.
@@MartinRacingChannel I did. But there is a pretty big hose that connected to my air filter on the stock carb that I think goes into the motor that I'm not sure where I'm supposed to hook that up to. The nibbi carb or air filter doesn't have a place for it. Any ideas?
You will have to check first , but I believe it is a breather vent for your crankcase. Take a look at the engine diagram and see if it says what it is. If it is a crankcase vent, you can reroute the hose to the rear of the engine.
@@gregpezan9631 It's great! The shop makes it sound like it's higher than it actually is. The bike runs great. Excellent throttle response and pulls strong to the top.

I'm not sure what you are talking about. The header only has the heat shield on the outside to protect your leg from getting burnt. The rubber around the muffler that is in between the clamp is to cut down on vibrations. I'll have to look at the bike close and see what you're talking about.
@smoknloudbluntsslb3385 Im sorry you were unable to follow the video. Where the throttle cable goes into the twist throttle, you should be able to adjust the throttle free play by turning the throttle adjustment screw to the left to tighten the throttle up. Screwing it in will give it more play.
I'm putting my nibbi carb on right now watching this 😮
How was the throttle response and does this carb help your bike start cold now

This one in the video description works great and is easy to tune and get your bike running great.
For the time being check your manual it shows how to adjust your stock carburetor. It's a slow process to take the carburetor off without a swivel, but it can be adjusted and done in less than an hour.
Make sure your carburetor is getting gas and make sure when cranking you're not pulling in the clutch.
Let me know how it goes.
Thanks for watching and God Bless you all too!
Thank you so much for your response I'll definitely let you know how it went I am going to order the carburetor today God bless
Try smashing on the trottle and if it Boggs bring it to the 4th step on needle.
Are you running the 22mm?
I got the same carb and I cannot get it dialed in for nothing. Black soot on the plug and exhaust so it's rich, but giving it less fuel and adjusting the idle it bogs when you slowly get on the throttle. Im stumped. Also is your choke way up I'm there with this setup? Tough as hell to choke mine
What dirt bike?
@@MartinRacingChannelI just edited my comment above. It's a Storm 125cc
@jpenadelaify The choke is very high.
What air filter are you running? I'll be able to help more once you tell me that.
Good luck getting it all the dialed in. It takes a little patience, but it should be worth it when your finished.
@@MartinRacingChannel it’s definitely a 100% pita!

i just installed my nibbi two days ago on brand new hawk 250.. started up fine and rode it around for half hour. tried to start today and giving me issues
@ thank you! It seems to start up fine unless it’s colder weather but I am taking it apart as we speak! Thanks for you response
Just curious. What jets would you reccomend? I am about 400 ft above Sea level and I have the same carb. I have the jetting kits, but don’t know what to run as a test.

Running 30 Pilot Needle 4th, 107/8 Pilot
I’ve tried from 30 through 38.
@parkchaops287 Stock settings are a 98 main 32 pilot and 4th clip on the needle.
Is the bike a stock 125cc chinese based engine?
I have a Pentor 125cc and a Nibbi 22mm. I set it up as you showed. Everything works fine but there is bogging at the bottom. From zero trottle there is bogging. There is no bogging at higher rpm. I didn't change any nozzles.
main 98
slow 32
Lookup how to adjust the needle. That is supposed to control 1/4-3/4 throttle. Probably just needs a little more fuel. If I understand correctly. If that doesn’t help you might just try the next the next size (slow) and see how it does.
Just put mine on one of my Apollo 125s. HOLY S#IT! What a difference!
Awesome! Glad it woke it up for you.😁
@@MartinRacingChannel Like seriously. It was bogging with the stock badly, so I bought a Mikuni and it was ok... but not great mid range torque. Any issues with the choke plunger rubbing against gas tank? Im unable to fully pull up on the lever without it being pushed down by the tank
My choke works fine. It is a tight fit, though. Make sure your fuel line isn't touching the choke. That has happened to me before.

@@egor132-d8o I increased the idle just enough to eliminate the bog when you quickly twist the throttle.

Clarification these are air adjustments on the flange carb. No fuel adjustments can be made. Good video and informative 👍
Fuel adjustments are from changing the jets or moving your needle clip. All depends on what your bike needs.
@MartinRacingChannel in the video you had said adjusting fuel while turning air screw. Just clarifying for anyone watching the video.
@ridingwithmischief I should have gone a little further into detail. I meant the air to fuel ratio...The air screw turned clockwise makes the mixture richer, anticlockwise will make the mixture leaner.

What size pilot jet & what size main jet are you running on nibbi 22mm on a 125cc ?
Factory jetting
24mm carb setting that worked best for me
110 main jet 35 pilot jet
You will have to see what needle clip setting gives you the best result.
@darkwriter77 Did you get it dialed in?
@@MartinRacingChannel Unfortunately, no. I wound up switching back to the VM22 clone and it runs pretty good. @darkwriter77 I understand. I hate that you didn't catch my video earlier. Good luck with dialing it in.

What was your jet settings in the end? Also how many turns out was your air/fuel screw?

I have the same bike. Where did you put the hose that was connected to your stock filter?
I took a longer hose and connected it to the crank case breather. I ran the hose on the back of the engine through the metal holder on the engine in front of the swingarm. Some people put a small breather filter on it and reroute it. It's up to you.
What kinda bike is it
what did you do with the hose that came out of the factory air filter? the one that goes to the crank case?
I let it run off the back of the engine to the left of the rear shock.
I got a lil crankcase breather filter and ran the hose up over the carb where both filters are beside one another then just zip tied it there

Any idea what jet i need for my 212 predator with a 22mm nibi im on day 3 of trying to tune it and not getting anywhere
I'm not sure I'll try to find a video of someone running a nibbi on a predator engine and link it for you. Did you get it figured out?
I'm having the same problem with my 224 predator and nibbi pe22. Have a 115 main and 40 pilot

@@MartinRacingChannel thanks for the advice, I was thinking the same too but I'm just not very sure. thanks again, I really appreciate it 🙏
If you have extra jets for your stock carburetor BBR Motorsports has a jetting chart for upgrades also.

Thanks so much. What if it doesn’t fit?
Is there a coupler I might need?
@Dirty123 There is a non flange mount version you can buy and use the nibbi couplers. This bolts directly to the manifold.
@Dirty123 You can always buy one from my Amazon link and if it doesn't fit return it. You get your money back fast. We use Amazon Prime, not sure if that makes a big difference. We had to return some clothes and they put the money back in our account super quick.

What size engine did you install it on? Did you try adjusting the air screw that adjusts the air to fuel ratio like the end of this video shows?
4th from the bottom or 4th from the top?
@garybray3614 Check out the video around 5 minutes and 10 secs.
Whats the screws size that fit the nibbi manifold
My nibbi didnt come with one and now im at home depot trynna figure it out
@@saudislicc I'm not sure, I used the bolts that were in my stock carburetor.
I removed it and ran a hose from the back of the engine where the original hose is connected to, to vent
There is a spot for the hose to clip into in front of the swingarm.

@@MartinRacingChannel that i dont know but it would make my mixture richer.

Stock or Nibbi Carburetor? What size?
I bought the bike used and I think it's stock it doesn't say anything like nibbi or maikuni
I think it's a 22mm
@@PeacefulMotoTrailz Have you taken the Carburetor off and cleaned the jets?
I bought it today and when I threw it on and got it started this idle sky rocketed and I can't get it back down. I figured because the carburetor was new I wouldn't have to take it apart and clean it
How do you know which ones to adjust
On the sheet that comes with the carburetor tells what each is for... the red one adjust how high you set your idle the small when that you adjust with a small flat head is for adjust your air to fuel ratio. It allows more or less fuel depending on which way you turn the screw.
Mine was running perfect and I messed with it now it won’t run for shit smh😭
😕What did you change? Have you tried putting it back like it was? You can always start over fresh and set the idle and adjust the air to fuel screw until the bike revs clean.
@@MartinRacingChannelI done tried it all but I bought new jets and pilots they are coming in today
@CroEk913 Make sure your spark plug isn't almost fouled out and your air filter is clean too. The last thing I'd check is the connections on the cdi could be loose. That will make them run horrible.
@@MartinRacingChannel I think it’s something wrong with the bike I swap the carb to a tao 125 and the Tao runs like a champ after new jetting
Is this also good for 100cc 2 stroke, RS100T.

Hey man I got a question, what size nibbi carb should I get for my Apollo rfz x19 125
