A lot of Mode 7 or combinations with one pitch missing only (e.g.4th mvt @ 11'54'', where the basses sing fourths in Mode Seven. then Bb is added to Mode 7 as the highest pitch in the contraalto phrase and then Chromatic aggregate is completed with pitch E). This is worth gold.
Can I ask you smth as a newbie in music theory? Is that piece considered to be in a specific key or it's constantly moving through different tonal centres?
@@geompon6505 i would say there is no actual key. It is not classic atonality as Schonberg, Webern wrote in my opinion. But there is no constant key. Rather very complex harmonies the edge/avant-garde of tonal harmony
