    I love your work. I cannot stand people who think restoration is just an excuse to paint things black. I also think it's amusing you started your channel as a way to de-stress your life. I watch it for the very same reason! Well, that and Mando, of course.

    • @RevdUp.Art.Fotografer
      @RevdUp.Art.Fotografer Месяц назад +2

      Totally! Any color of paint.
      Some poor things get painted hot pink, neon green with brick red trim🤮, &/or some other equally obnoxious color.
      Many antiques, which are merely a little rough around the edges, are seen as 'too much work' to care for properly. They are seen as a 'disposable', and a cheap solution for a child's room.
      Chests, nightstands, even dressing tables(!) oh my...
      The ones to paint are the broken down, 10 years old, big box store purchases. Paint THOSE things!

    So beautiful! Top Notch! You really are the Bee's knees! Your kitty too, is growing so fast, each time we see him. And his coloring is so regal and gorgeous. When you first got him, my initial thoughts were; he needs a playmate, but as each video came out I realized that he has many play friends with your feline visitors. You must be very proud of how beautiful and playful he is. :)

    I really love this finished piece, and I think the brass rods look great. Maybe if it's not being used as an umbrella stand, you could put a piece of glass over the open area on the top to make a little more space to set things down. I hope we still see a lot of you in the videos when your apprentice joins you; I find your voice very soothing to listen to, and your videos are among my favorite places to hide out from our politics over here.

Which brings me to the question of what the heck could you use the left side of the table for? A plant in a beautiful pot? Also, if you ever do want to use it for an umbrella stand you could put a pretty china plate or a clear bowl so you can still see the brass rods you used.
