I think the top of this price is made from one of those round tables that has flaps that fold down to make the table smaller or fold up to make a round table. I think someone took the side panels off of one of these tables to make the top of this table. I think the holes on the underside of this table top are from the hinges that were on the original table. The legs might be the legs of the original table.

I used to hand spin wool, I was self-taught, of course I didn't do it the way the "professionals" did it, but my way worked for me, and I was happy with the end results. What a unique table. It reminds me a bit of a surfboard. It turned out beautifully. Personally, I wouldn't know what a project was without regular distractions, especially in the form of furry friends that show up to say hi. They are all so adorable!!
I love watching how furniture restorers handle similar repairs differently. There isn't always one correct way. I like to think outside the box, so I might handle things differently than the next person. I don't have 1% of the skill that you do, but I still enjoy doing little projects for my home. I really enjoy watching you at your craft.

I researched some of the design aspects of this table. The Cathedral design in the legs made me think it is 1890' Chippendale style hall table with a fancy pants top made from another table. I love it! I am a one of a kind too so we are buddies already!

Oh my goodness this was something else Jay. What a fantastic and glorified piece of wood grain you brought out in that table top. Who would’ve thought it could be that gorgeous. I love all your fur babies and how you allow them to distract you 😻❤️🇺🇸 pssst this is my new favorite channel. I’m binge watching 3 a night to catch up. Love your filming and editing and music. It’s great

As a California girl, I can't help but see a surfboard or a skim board every time you showed the table top. What an interesting shape for a table! I almost wanted to see a fin on the bottom! LOL! Amazing restoration, Jay! Just beautiful. I'm always impressed with your attention to detail, too. Superb!

You took something that was headed to the landfill and made it a gorgeous and useful piece of furniture. And you are a good man that loves someone else's animals!

@FlippingDrawers you took a diamond in the rough and turned it into a show stopper! One of the reasons I have you as one of my favourites is you explain a variety of ways to get great results! Anyone in the business knows different wood species and products react differently. Of course there are multiple ways to do something!
When you showed the original state...I wanted to slap the previous owner! You couldn't even see the side detail. Who does that to such a unique piece? Thanks to you it's glowing in it's original glory!

Stunning! I loved your commentary regarding many ways to achieve results and demonstrating various techniques so people can try different things depending on what they have available to them. It’s also how you innovate the craft. If no one tried new things, better ways would never be discovered.
