Welcome to my channel! This is a music reaction channel. For the longest time, I've loved creating content on the internet. I started off with a gaming channel right here on RUclips, which eventually turned into a Twitch gaming channel, but as time has gone on I've evolved into doing other things on RUclips. For years now I've wanted to create a music channel on RUclips, and recently just figured "why not?", so it’s time to give this a go! Give me any suggestion you have for music reactions, and I will do my best to get around to them. As music has fallen further out of my life, I figured this would be a great time to get reintroduced to music.

The Moody Blues are one of the best bands ever, and their lyrics were always something special. I am glad I had the chance to attend one of their concerts.

The Moodys are a band with a huge, decades-spanning catalog. Even though they have a huge following, their music is underappreciated by many., but you got it right off the bat. You described perfectly how their music can stir one’s soul. They had a tremendous singer/guitar player, Justin Hayward, along with a keyboardist, Mike Pinder, who also played the mellotron, a very challenging,, but atmospheric type of organ that added so much depth and beauty to their music. Based on your other reactions, I think you would really enjoy a deeper dive into their catalog. All the best.

With the Moody Blues you can generally count on poetic lyrics set to fantastic instrumental arrangements. And, on their Days of Future Past concept album they were one of the first rock & roll bands to record and sometimes appear live with an orchestra. They have a lot of very varied material to explore, as you go along.

The Moodies were medicinal, mystical, melodious, and mature. They didn't waste time on teen issues, but jumped right into the big issues of the day. Their grand seven concept albums can almost be considered as a unit, and eventually need to be known as seven fingers in a rock and roll hand. They and their fans are wizards, and we are beginning to suspect that you too are a wizard, fooling around with all that advanced progressive music that uses higher maths and brainfoods. Another winner!

This was one of my favorite songs by the Moodys - great rock message song, mixed with one of the most beautiful, and beautifully-sung, middle sections with very meaningful lyrics and really showcasing Justin Hayward's spectacular voice. He is a true genius - lyricist, composer, guitarist, and singer.

ALRIGHT! We ain't hitching anymore, we're riding! Thank you whoever recommended this.
Their Magnum Opus is the album In Search of the Lost Chord. Legend of a Mind is a must listen too.

The Moody Blues' songs always takes you on trip with their music. This was when many artists wrote songs that questioned the status quo. You need to listen to the whole of their 1967 album "Days of Future Past" a concept album that takes you on a journey through a day.

Remember that this was written in 1970. These guys were so fa ahead of most of their peers. Enjoy the trip, you have a LOT of their material to discover.

The Moody Blues are one of the first progressive rock bands from the 60's.
    Mystical, Atmospheric, Dreamy and Poetic.
One of my favourite bands. ❤

Justin Hayward with those vocals. Moodies had a run of seven albums which are the pinnacle of prog rock. Days of Future Passed is widely considered the first concept and prog album.

I was blessed to see the moody blues when I was in high school. All my schoolmates in New Jersey were jealous. They sounded just as good live as they did on a record, 8 track or cassette.

I love the beautiful middle section which feels heartfelt and sincere. Not sure what's it's doing sandwiched between the Who-like opener and closer. Nevertheless, very successful, peaking at #21 in Billboard and #2 in the UK.

The Moody 's were a really great band. Were together for years. ( this recording sounded a bit muffled to me - it's alot cleaner on my cd!. )
Their most famous hit is Nights in white satin. There is a longer album version or a shorter single release. It's epic.
Other decent hits include. I'm just a singer in a rock and roll band. That's a fast one. Or For my Lady. Very laid back.
You and me has great guitar work in it.
Isn't life strange is not disimilar to Question. Same feel.
Justin Haywood did a great single called Forever Autumn. It's pretty potent too.
You won't go far wrong listening to some of their classic hits.

Moraz was fired in 1991. There was a lengthy court case that followed his dismissal. He was, apparently, offered $400,000 before the lawsuit, but came away with $77,175.
