Excellent review, Gemma! I really like Amiga games, especially the ports of existing arcade games and others that either started life on the Amiga or were ported over to the Amiga. Plus, I also like how Blaze has put so much effort into adding Piko cartridges to the Evercade.

I'm really nostalgic for Full Contact, the roundhouse kick will see you through and takes off the most energy. You do need to spend most time avoiding your opponents moves. I think this game is tongue in cheek, when you get to fight the dog you'll know what I mean. Graphics and sounds are great as with all Team 17 games, but it's one I keep coming back to despite it's flaws and it does feel very wooden to play now.

I got all the carts upto date, love them. Play them with lad on Sundays on the VS, was considering getting new handheld but not sure.
Growing up with vic20, c64 and the amiga, team 17 was always quality games!

Nice to see you delving back into the Evercade Gem! 👍. Even though I’m a fan of it. Sometimes I have to ask, “who’s collating these games?!…” 🤔. Nevertheless its great to see TEAM 17 on there! Perhaps the only way to get around the issues of licences for an Amiga collection. Is to choose ONE company, with a vast amount of quality games?! Hope they change it up again though. With a NEW company. For their SECOND planned Amiga Collection! 😊👍

All Terrain Racing is superb! Used to play that a lot, back when I owned an Amiga 600.
I find the button layout on my Evercade EXP as I’m developing arthritis in my hands. Thankfully me Evercade Vs controller are better spaced so I’m mostly playing on that now.

FYI: “Xenomorph” is not the name of the alien species in the Alien franchise, it’s just a latin word (well 2 words really) that means “alien form” or “form from the outside.”
@TheGebs24 I really Love your appreciation of the Amiga. This was my system back in the day. Alien Breed, oh boy. What an absoute blast this series was. This makes me really consider buying an Evercade.
I really enjoy your Videos. It is really cool, seeing a Gi... a Woman of roughly my age, being into Homecomputers. Or Micros, as you called them in Britain.
At the time, I didn't know that many who we're into this.

27:34 Looks, like Blake Stone: Aliens of Gold. I'm pretty big FPS fan, in 90s I had Doom I & II, Heretic, Hexen, Duke Nukem 3D... For N64 I had Quake 64. All those games for Windows 95, except Quake 64 of course, that would be for Nintendo 64. Cool looking retro games in your video. Last time I played FPS, it was Wolfenstein 3D in Google couple of months ago.

Team 17 cart looks great. I have only ever played Arcade Pool as I didn't have an Amiga as a kid but the other games look pretty awesome. Piko 3 though is not for me, some real janky looking games on there and I would have liked to have seen the PS1 version of Radikal Bikers included.

The Alien Breed series has the dark atmosphere, and it gave me the lonely horror feeling too but honestly I didn't like the because I do not like those games where the enemies respawn... and because of this it lost its vibe for me. I liked the Project-X but I liked the C64 game Katakis aka Denaris much better.
They should put Elite 2 or fire and ice or Turrican. Those team 17 games were not that hit....
