Hello everyone! I wasn’t expecting this video to get as far as it has, but if anyone has any questions I definitely recommend @abetweene youtube channel, she has a lot of more in depth sugar waxing videos that may help you all out. I am not a professional, I have learned everything off of many youtube videos like you all have 😊 thank you for reading!
Hey! Just putting it out there that when you apply the sugar, you are supposed to apply it the opposite direction instead of the same direction of hair growth. And when you rip it off, rip it the same direction of hair growth. It’s the opposite of regular waxing. Otherwise it turned out great!
Haha yes, this video is kinda old so I was still new to sugar waxing. In my recent video with how to make sugar wax using the microwave, I apply it correctly like you’ve mentioned. But thank you!
@@Runner8617 in the long run this doesn't help since it breaks more hair instead of pulling it at the root. you're more prone to ingrowns & discolouration this way
I promise I’m not a Karen just trying to be helpful sugar was should be applied in the opposite direction your hair grows and removed in the same direction your hair grows! It’s the opposite as traditional wax! Other than that you did a great job and your cooking method is the best I’ve seen!
Hey everyone! When I first filmed this video I wasn’t completely aware on the process of how to remove the sugar. So to apply it: apply in the opposite direction of your hair growth, then rip in the same direction of your hair growth
So I made this it worked amazing however turns out I’m allergic to it somehow it’s really sad because it worked really good on my upper leg my lower leg not so much but my upper leg it worked great however I now have hives all over my leg 😭 I wish it wasn’t allergic because I’d totally keep using this it worked so good 😭
It might be worth testing a patch with organic sugar. Sugar is one of the top GMO foods in the US, and often has higher concentrations of herbicide residue (glyphosate), which could definitely cause hives, especially if your skin is sensitive! There is also a chance that the waxing process caused skin irritation or ingrown hairs!
@@MalanaBouarouy :)) Also, just wanted to know, what do u do if it's a lil sticky. I kneaded it with cold water and I could hold it but the moment I used it on my skin, it stuck there so badd.... So what's ur opinion on that??
Hmm, I would try to add a little bit more water, (but not too much) if it’s too sticky and watery beforehand, it’s a possibility it might be too overcooked already. So it might be a good idea to restart the wax possibly
So I wanted to get back to you on this bc I was wrong, so as long as you store it in the fridge, it’ll be good indefinitely!! You’d just have to reheat it when you want to use it

Ripping off the wax in that direction never pulls out enough hair for me. I have to do it the opposite way to get most of the hair out.
It should be opposite☺️
That’s probably why it didn’t work for my lower leg tnx I’d use this tip in the future however I’m allergic to the wax 😭

That is the shinniest, prettiest sugar wax I've seen on RUclips.
Two teaspoons or table spoons? That looked like tablespoons
Tablespoons!!!
I'm gonna make this, use this, and eat the rest.
Do you preheat the glass jar before pouring in the hot sugar syrup?
Or so u wait for sometime for the wax to cool down before u pour it in ?
I keep burning mine every time. 😭😭😭
Does the wax stay that consistency even when it's completely cooled down or do you need to reheat it?
You will need to reheat it after it fully hardens
👍🏾 this is a really good video! might try this in the future
Thank you, definitely!! Sugar wax makes your skin so smooth afterwards
do it really matter what type of sugar is it ?
I would recommend the granulated white sugar or granulated brown sugar, but if you want to try any other sugar it just might not work as good
Does brown sugar work aswell? Just a little curious so i dont mess up ;w;
Nah only normal sugar I think
Yes.
Yeah, you can use any sugar that's made from sugar cane, so not coconut sugar, but yes, you can use brown sugar.
what’s the lemon for and can i leave it out if allergic ?
You can use white vinegar as a substitute
Pleased answer!
Do we need to heat sugar wax in low flame
Hello, yes do low flames or else you can burn the wax if you have it too high

Can I do this on my face
I used this on my temple and it works fine. Be careful to not let it touch ur eyebrows.. that wud be baddd time
Wow this is great!!!!❤️
i loved it , but how to store it
I store it in a mason jar at room temperature
Should u let the wax cool in the pot beige u Pore it in the jar and should the jar be glass or plastic
..
when we put the sugar in the jar, do we put water in first
Hmm this works!!! Thanksss
It took some time tho😭
It took me awhile to get it too, haha I’m glad it worked eventually :)

How long does it last in the mason jars?
I would say to be safe 2-3 days, I’ve gone longer than that & the wax doesn’t turn out as effectively when it’s in there for too long

@Malana Bouarouy can I use brown sugar?
Yes!
You don’t need to knead it?
You can, up to your preference
I’m hungry now😭
You can eat it too!!
can you do any sugar
Any sugar that is granulated
Can this be used on the bikini area?
Yes😊
Good luck sister
I did it in bikini area but it hurted but then again It was so pretty I had no Ingrown hairs no bumps and it was so soft
Can I use juice from a orange instead
I wouldn't
You can u can use lime vinegar lemon orange etc
Will it make the grow back longer on my face
Well everyones body is different, so it depends. Personally for most people I know it doesn’t though
@@MalanaBouarouy Tnx alot gonna try it
Can I use salt instead of sugar?
No!!!!
Salt isn't sticky that's why it won't work
Thank you so much .love to see how you use it to remove your legs hair if you please 💐💐👍
I have to grow the hair out first lol, but definitely!
@@MalanaBouarouy thank you for your reply I will wait till your legs hair grow .waiting to see how you use it to remove your legs hair 🌹💐
Can it be a green lemon?lol
You can give it a try! I’d still recommend a lemon though
