    Great vid! Thanks heaps.
I got stuck trying to open the fuel tank lock ring for the past 2 days! Tried everything I could think of. Ended up breaking one of the plastic ribs on the ring using a hammer and piece if wood. Damn thing was stuck fast. I ordered a tool, but being the weekend it wont get here for a week probably.
Today out of desperation and rage I tried one more thing....WD-40.
Around the top of the ring there are holes regularly spaced all the way around the ring. I sprayed WD-40 into each hole (using a straw attachment to the spray nozzle).Left it for some minutes to penetrate and returned to try and pull Excalibur from the rock.
It worked!!!! Using hammer and wood method, the far kin ring turned. Success.

There’s no reason on the planet for that ring to be that tight. I didn’t see the hole but that was genius. I tried hammer n wood, pipe wrench, anything I could think of. Then I sat back n said it had to be a tool just for this and poof it was. Just like you I had to wait a few days for it to come in. I’m glad you slayed the beast victory is yours

@@samuelmartinez7096 I replaced ignition coils, sparkle’s ,fuel pump, sensors kept dying after a smooth 20-30 run. My friend said it was the timing they have to rebuild it after so many miles on those engines. I couldn’t figure it out. I threw so many parts until there was nothing left but like he said to tear down the engine. I sold it. Never buy another one I say

How did u kno wu needed a fuel pump ? My car cranks but won’t start

The gas pedal was spongy. If you pressed it hard the car wouldn’t go. Then it would just die for no reason while driving or while idling . We pressure tested it under the hood. Then we put that expensive scan tool on it and it said faulty fuel pump

The cheapest route to take is to mark your coil packs then switch them around to see if it starts. Sometimes they are the issue
