    Thanks. Looks ridiculously easy. Shop wanted to charge 200 for labor and 750 for parts.

    Great video! Good audio, good camera quality, good editing, straight to the point. I would include more detail about the reason why you replaced the fuel pump. Keep up the good work. Saved yourself a lot of money replacing the fuel pump yourself

      Thanks Andrew :). I would've included more details about why I replaced it, but there's honestly so many other great videos that go over when to replace your fuel pump. I've honestly never seen someone do like a detailed video with POV footage during the procedure, so that's why I took this route. :)

    Great video man! But why did u replaced the pump? I would like to know, cause yesterday I got faulty code P0087 and it said Rail pressure to low. So i dont know if I must change the High pressure pump aswell or just the fjel pump? My car just ran badly and powerless

      The fuel pump I replaced would have to be replaced when the car is refusing to turn on and the battery is good.

    I did this job to fix a problem on my b8, my gas gauge goes to zero when I have gas in the car. It also says tank system malfunction and I already replaced the fuel pump along with a new fuel sending unit and I still have the same problem. Was wondering if you could help

    • @Giovardo.gallegos
      @Giovardo.gallegos  4 года назад

      zjs from what I understand i think you might have messed up the fuel leveler when putting the fuel pump back in, or it could be the fuse (f19 slot and it’s a 25a fuse) on the driver side panel .

    • @jdmnismo7
      @jdmnismo7 4 года назад +1

      @@Giovardo.gallegos the lever is fine, I think its the fuse at this point. This is for a b8 S4, I am going to replace that fuse today and see if that fixes it.

      @Giovardo.gallegos  4 года назад

      zjs honestly just check all the fuse boxes and replace all the fuel fuses. The f19 slot is for the a4.

Can anyone tell me how they intended to clean the carbon off the intake valves on the new 3.0T "hot v" without engine out?

    • @sleepy35th
      @sleepy35th 3 года назад

      @@rociohernandez8659 some people are idiots, would want to listen to music while the car is in accessory mode. While in accessory mode your fuel pump is turned on to prime the low pressure line to prepare for ignition. When the prime is finished, there’s still a small amount of power going to the pump, as it’s ready for activation. This is enough power to ignite a small spark upon pulling out the fuse pump and letting the leads come in contact with the body. This could cause problems. Best precaution is to advise DIY individuals to unplug the fuel pump, just for that dumb 5% that don’t know this.
