And everyone else on T1 is going to be 2 time world champion which is also something only other players of SKT + Beryl have achieved before, so that in itself is crazy. The players of this T1 roster are going to be the only players ever to have been in 3 consective worlds finals except for Faker, Bang, Wolf & Beryl and if they win against BLG they will the only players to ever win back-to-back worlds except for Bengi, Faker, Bang & Wolf. And Faker just was there in the middle for all of it, leading his brothers through it all!
@@reishiki8682 Nope, as I wrote the only other players to have won multiple are former SKT players or Beryl... Duke is a former SKT player so he's included. And Duke also hasn't won consecutive worlds, he won in 2016 with SKT and in 2018 with IG. No back-to-back just twice in total...

Speaking of mental.. T1 was on a 10 loss streak and throw a big lead in Game 4,but still had the confidence to teamfight 4v5 instantly after they collapsed on Faker... That was kinda impressive...
Mental is definitely a big part. You can tell the GEN players were definitely lacking. GEN walked onto stage knowing 80%, if not more, people there were supporting T1. It's an insane amount of pressure to play a game knowing 80% are rooting against you. I mean, you can see it from their faces. Every time they fail to make a play or T1 succeeds making a play, they have that panic look. On the contrary, when T1 fails a play or GEN succeeds in making a play, T1 seem unfazed, despite the audience cheering just as loudly. It's obvious that GEN couldn't handle that pressure. Honestly, T1 could largely due to Faker, bearing in mind T1 couldn't even play properly last year in summer without Faker around. It's a veteran thing, and Faker's presence clearly settles their nerves. Mental is such a big thing in Worlds, especially when there's such a big crowd. LoL Park hold 400+ people, 80% cheering for T1 is only 300+ people. Adidas Arena is 8000+ people, 80% cheering for T1 is 6000+ people. The cheering is so blatantly different, it becomes an insurmountable pressure.
@@DanteLovesPizza yeah at the chants of T1 was so loud in game 3 after they got kills mid and top.. I was watching on caedrals stream and it was still loud 😂
@@ak3nodxd674 You would be amazed how good T1 are. I've seen a match of them in LCK against HLE where they were down 9 kills to 2 kills but they still managed to get back in the game and win lol this is what I like about rosters who stay and play with each other for a long time. Their trust for each other is on the roof.
this T1 roster compliments each other so much cause all of them have balls of steels. you can see it with faker's laning, oner's pathing, keria's positioning in fights, guma's psychotic flashes, zeus's playstile while being dive. Heavy are the balls
7:39 when Azael stated the back to back to back Worlds appearance of the T1 ZOFGK roster, plus the possibility of a 2-peat to be accomplished by the same organization with 1 member who has done it before in his career still actively playing...BEFORE ANY OTHER TEAM IN THE WORLD HAS WON TWICE the Summoner's cup. ..that realization gave me goosebumps..just wow..
@@franckielouann4651 how about Fakers 7 finals appearance in 9 worlds participation... The other 2 were semi's btw 😂... I don't see anyone bypassing this!
this is a stat that has been well established already, with the T1 org having 11 years of not missing semis once they qualify. The stat Azael was pointing out is a new one, especially that this roster is writing a new chapter as he puts it, especially that they are currently the longest standing roster in LOL history by being together for 3 years. In addition, it was a great point to drive home, as part of the vlogs, podcasts and community of LOL will be focused on the roster changes (actually, it has been going on for weeks now as teams started falling off one by one in Worlds) that developing a team takes time, money, good recruitment, staff behind a team to not only focus on wins but to make sure they make a team WIN by providing the best possible environment for the roster. T1 as an organization is the standard in esports in making this possible and the legacy proves it. I highly recommend you watching Retrospecto, a documentary released by T1 via their official YT channel for the 20th Anniversary of their organization. It’s a long one (over 2 hrs), if you can spare the time. I hope all esports teams watch it. It will make the whole esports industry better and thrive longer. Fun fact: this was a good follow up as well to Gumayusi’s documentary (Proved) by T1 as well, since his brother was in the T1 org as an esports player in another game that was the foundation of what SKT, now T1 became.
Completely agree with Azael about laser focused T1, especialy this year, they very disciplined. Look at Zeus in a GenG series, he was out of this reality, almost like a cyborg :) But underneath all this ... Keria mental explosion are perfect illustration.
And about T1 finals every year. Yes, but again: the road so different every time! It's about the road and tand their outstanding ability to go to the end of it no matter what.

T1 and their performance at worlds really proves 2 things 1) The META matters. Comparing them now to spring and summer is irrelevant. There is no point comparing Faker on his best champs like Akali to him playing ADCs in the mid lane all year. Who cares that GEN won however many times in a row, this META is completely different which makes that data irrelevant 2) There is something to be said for being Clutch and rising to the occasion. Too many fans focus on the losing team being “chokers” but it’s more about T1 being super clutch and performing at a high level when the stakes are greatest
3) It also shows the power of CONTINUITY!! Too many orgs switch up their roster way too often. Only 1 team wins the split and only 1 team wins each of the international tournament. Being so results oriented of “oh we won were good” or “oh we lost we need to change” is so cancerous and horrible for the scene. Look at the spurs in NBA. They never won back to back rings but won 5 championships across a 15 year period… don’t be greedy!!
you need to go watch the T1 games during summer, Faker made terrible mechanical mistakes, the meta had nothing to do with him missing his skills and having bad positioning and macro point n.2 is the only true and relevant thing here
@@christopherriordan2057 Geng also benefited heavily as the ADC mid compliments chovy playsytle which is to farm up and scale as add while canyon runs the map early with AP jglers...Geng also very good at playing defensive and scaling
This is so wrong, Faker tanked his entire summer season by changing setups to ease his hand injury pain. Now he’s getting used to his new posture, new mouse he’s back to his good spring form. Blame it all on meta is stupid.
Nah, now I really feel like T1 is just limit testing and doing random shts at their region and when their opponents lower their guard down for T1 performing like garbage in LCK that's when they eat their words
One thing I realized is that there's actually a lot more diversity when it comes to team strengths in this Worlds compared to other worlds. It would be safe to say that no team technically choked but rather the other team was just playing out of their minds. It seems like every team that was in quarters deserved to be there and they delivered. Goodluck to T1 and BLG
I find it interesting that neither team that went 3-0 in Swiss made it to the finals. The playing experience in Swiss definitely contributes to a teams success in bracket stage.
The current schedule means 3-0 teams stop playing actual matches too early. They play their last Swiss match on 10/5 and play their quarters match on 10/17 (LNG) and 10/20 (GenG). That's nearly two full weeks of 0 competitive matches. You need to play actual matches to test out your scrim results/your read on the meta. It's no surprise that both LNG and GenG struggled mightily to adapt to the bracket stage Meta. In fact, the same thing happened last year too. The two 3-0 teams (GenG and JDG) both struggled in quarters. GenG immediately fell behind 0-2 to BLG (behind some truly horrendous BPs) and ultimately lost 2-3. JDG pulled through 3-1 over KT but was very shaky and very stiff against a clearly inferior opponent.
@@longnguyenhai595I don't think the 3-0 matters if T1 went past TES. They underestimated that Jhin Statikk damage and are still figuring out the meta. T1 would still go finals if they went 3-0 in swiss. I don't think the downtime is the problem. GEN played close against HLE which is already worrying. And LNG got DK which are cloinflippy
@@skrattaoppar9753Honestly i think this is kind of true with the t1 example. They only played one extra game vs geng/lng, and it was the day after. I don’t think the 1 less game and 1 less day in between makes that much of a difference.
@@aioibin I blame the enemies that GEN faced in swiss even up to Flyquest series, none of them tried to outright consistently ban K'sante and Smolder even during scrims. GEN got comfort using those. Even last year, GEN also went 3-0 at swiss and they maybe went out at quarters but it was so out of context, they went out in a close series not a 3-0 sweep. Looking back that was a good performance, JDG was good also a 3-0 swiss, they underestimated KT at game 1 and they swept it after and they lost to T1 the world champions I don't think the downtime is really the problem.
@@colinmcintyre9074yup that's why jdg last year collapsed they couldnt afford to bring them all back hahah, that roster was legitimately 1 year season rental.
During last year's LPL Bo5 gauntlet, one team escaped the clutches of T1 by bowing out in the semis only to face them this year in the finals. This is T1 tying out loose ends.
I agree with Kobe, support is what I have my eye on as the rest of the roles seem super close. ON has been super inconsistent since summer really, if he has a Lehends-esque performance it will be an easy T1 win. But if he plays well it's going to be a banger close series that could go either way.
On the other hand, Keria can potentially crumble as well. His current form ar worlds makes it a low possibility but his domestic performance has been very shaky. He's shown to throw hard when he is off.
@@amsd1231 Yeah, as a T1 fan, I think the weakness and strength of T1 is how emotional / momentum based they can be. I think keria is the biggest role gap in this coming series, but it remains to be seen if either team can keep their form. What helps though is that t1 have been on this stage 3 times and have won already, meanwhile this will be knight and bin's first worlds title. Whether that means BLG will be hungrier, or that they'll be more nervous, will decide who wins.
Mr. Kobe, I've been on board since Faker styled on Galio for 5 straight games against RNG back in 2017. I blame that series for my obsession with Galio and I became a fan of SKT/T1 because of Faker's emotional release in the finals. It's finally paying off after all these years. :D
At 13:40 where Meteos is talking about what they do different, I think I know what they do. Did any of you ever watch the AI that was trained to play Dota 2 and then it crushed the best teams? The bot would literally send certain units to die just to make sure the fight started because it was a fight it new it would win. It would slowly approach from multiple angles simultaneously and juke to bait out skills and then slowly prod forward unscathed. This T1 roster is so in sync I swear sometimes they look like the Dota AI playing in pro league. Every decision every player makes is to win the game. They don't play their champions, they play the game. Any of them play like the Queen from chess, or the Pawn and will flip roles on a dime. The T1 hive mind will definitely win worlds again this year.
@@xSkwintzidk bout exciting. Interesting maybe. One of the main reasons to laneswap is to avoid bad matchups but when you have the two best top laners you wanna see them lane against each other lol. None of that laneswap shit
@@ericlin2992 yeah I feel like my point was very simple to understand. You want 2 best top laners going against each other. You can even make a argument for the 2 most aggressive bot lane duos. And both might be ruined xD But I guess this guy really enjoys top laners getting dove 1v3. really exciting right ? Dumbass xD
I mean what can Riot really do to "remove" it? It's literally what people have been doing in solo queue for years now. Not with bot lane swapping I've had more than a handful of games where my top or mid doesn't like their matchup so they ask for swap with top lane and top goes mid/mid goes top. I don't really see a way for Riot to "remove" swapping unless they explicitly made it so pre-10 minutes you get reduced gold and exp from lanes you weren't assigned to but that would just be janky and arbitrary.
It's hard for GenG to get a better support player as Peyz's rookie contract runs to an end this year. They have to pay a lot more to keep Peyz and it's hard for them not hitting the salary cap.
It's fair to say that he didn't perform that well , but he didn't necessarily choke , lehends was the clear one that did that , also zeus was just better than kiin , i hope chovy wins worlds and he will do so , just like deft did , a player of that caliber should win it , the dream is that he goes to T1 after faker retires and 100% i can see him win 2 or 3 worlds and more.

Been an SKT fan since Season 3 and what I can def say is every time any other team faces them at Worlds in a BO5 theres just an aura with facing them that I think affects the opposing team. It was always beat Faker and they can beat T1 but now T1 is filled with star studded talent as to where you can beat Faker in lane but you also have to worry about the other 4 popping off now. This roster is undisputedly the best SKT/T1 roster out of all.
Watching at 32:00-- have to say-- Bin has made exceptional plays in every game, but particularly, has absolutely handled the early games that BLG would be in danger of losing, or did lose, otherwise. He was literally pulling gamesavers out of nowhere left and right--plays that I can't imagine most other toplaners doing on any day but their best. He's the reason they got through swiss without two extra series. Definitely a missed call there.

For three years I've said Guma can be terrifying, and i don't understand why no one has ever given this man his due. We all know Faker is...faker. We know Zeus AAtrox last year lives rent free in China's mind. We know [insert jungle] playing around mid and top always becomes a good/greatish jungle but still get a ton of convo about them. We all know that no one wants to win worlds as much as Keria - especially as support. WATCH GUMAYUSHI LETS TALK ABOUT HIM COME ON YALL HE IS JUST AS TERRIFYING. Thanks yall! But no seriously not tearing anyone else down, just want to lift him up equally. LOWKEY Thank you Guma for pulling Faker away from the wall 🤕 - you won my heart for protecting our King - and have won my brain for every ridiculous fight won that you had no business doing, against all odds. [Just like every other player on the team]
Well if you are a fan of Guma I think he know his role in the team too he is that guy...honestly if Faker is not the brand of T1 it would be Guma he has personality and the skills too consistency is key and he is the most consistent that said and he don't hog kills he earn them and give them up too. Sadly he is not talk as much by all the caster etc bsc he is really the shadow but shadow is a must have I feel he is just that way.
@josephwong5859 yes yes! Sadly this also means he will never "earn" what people say is the right to be called one of the best adcs despite doing what "the best" have never done. Like you say, the stats he doesn't have help his team win and that's a damn good adc, and teammate. I'm glad he got the recent interview France fell in love
C9 Ruler is crazy Picking up Loki instead of Saint or Zenie is such a disgusting miss management by C9. Like if you gonna reset and rebuild your roster you have to be picking a Sunfire prospect and that's Saint or Zenie who were KILOMETERS away from the rest of the competition at LCKCL. I think is a bad move considering the other options that are out there at the same LCKCL. I love Zven. I really do. My favorite player, but he isn't what you should be picking up for a reset and rebuild. You got ScarryJerry who has been terrifying the whole NACL for years. Having one of the lowest gold % on his team and STILL putting out the most damage above any other ADC on NACL, getting the most KDA and not by chances, but because his teamfighting movements, hands reactions and spacing is great. The kid is so good. He never dies, always put out massive dmg out, is comfortable playing weak side and strong side. Can play Ezreal very good with very good accuracy, play MF well, play Zeri very good,KaiSa very well,Varus,Jhin,Ashe,Senna. He can play pretty much almost all ADC. We didn't saw his Lucian, but he isn't meta much, we saw his Ziggs was ok. His laning need some work, but that's normal for a young player, but he's so willing to move for Team fighting and protect neutrals parts of the map. A helps his support and jungle to roam Like Legit the kid can be the next Massu. This kid is so damn talented. C9 should be picking him up instead of Zven. Make Zven your positional Coach instead and make him train ScarryJerry like Mithy did with Busio. You got a Rookie Mid and Rookie AD who are gonna listen and follow Vulcan and Blaber leadership and gonna play the game the way the team wants to be play. C9 please learn from FLY already. Blaber and Vulcan need to step up with their leadership skills PD: SUPPORT NACL. THERE'S TALENT THERE. WATCH NACL!
Hey Jack, the freshest pasta you've ever tasted just dropped on the RUclips comments and it's gonna be even tastier next year when these "C9 lost the off-season" people have to explain how C9 won the championship with a midlaner they said was trash.
I think its more the structure that sven adds. Sven is a workhorse that abhores slacking and is a strong igl that will give what vulcan and blaber never learned.@tealover7058
11:01 unless players leave on their own, T1 is never gonna drop anyone in their roster. Seriously, who are they gonna get instead? Ruler over Guma? I think he’s better than Gumayushi now but Ruler’s pretty old.
maybe coz he is not "cute", vocal, or celebrity type player like those of JKL, TheShy, UZI, Rookie. Bin is vocal and backs up with his play, thats y he gets lot of attention. I was genuinely happy when BLG bought him, coz I felt 369 is now washed lol and Kanavi and Missing are mentally broke. This worlds he is happy and laughing when he was playing against g2, hle, wbg. Bin, XUN, Elk are psychopaths and they dont easily falter. Hope they stay together. Knight and ON needs to be 100% confident and have ego boost to play final. reminds me of MSI 2023 how Knight was confident in his playmaking. I want that confident playmaking Knight at finals not the defensive coward he's been in most internationals.
Both teams have a chance for making history if either of them won: -If BLG won Knight will become the first Chinese mid lanner to ever won World and BLG will be the first LPL team to beat T1 in a Bo5 at Worlds stage and the first Chinese line up champion with no Korean. -If T1 won they will succeed in defending theirs world title last year’s the second times this ever happened. Faker with his 5th world title will never be brought down by anyone ever
Finals is guaranteed banger both T1 and BLG stomped there way through the knockout stage. Also meteos shouldn't speak on C9 stuff. It's the same answer every time he agrees a likes whatever C9 is doing what else would someone apart of there organization say.
Sad to see Meteos saying GenG will probably change supports based on one series, like Tarzan last year. The man was the MSI finals MVP and the soul of the team, but one bad series is enough to kick him out
I dunno too but after T1 destroyed TES 3-0 nad Gen.G struggled against Fly, I just knew T1 clhas a better chance and I favored them to win because I like how they permanan the OP champs like Yoke at Aurora.
I also think T1 plays stock standard with the META and their picks during the domestic splits and then they bust out their best comfort and spicy picks (Keria Pyke) at the international tournaments
I think its their training and hope IF they stay tgt next year the Meta will all be in their hands. As these type of spicy picks is what they are so used to and the best at but when they go stockstandard and if like AD on Faker is not as good as other...Smolder for example...faker is not as good and I dont think faker like that champ...he like champ that goes in make plays but Smolder is a standard farming to late and No one can kill me champ. Same with Zeus and Ksante...he can play it very good but you never see him pick it when there is a chance to...he rather play engage or some champ that can teamfight or just pure DMG side lane. Hence why they as a team are so fun to watch IMO.
been on the team never doubt t1 never will even if they lose play offs thats not what they care about its all about worlds baby yes they try but worlds just different for them
Knight doesn't stick out to you meteoes becsuse you don't actually watch or care about LPL, he's literally accomplished what chovy has. And even has the sick play style. The only difference is he's from LPL SOO he isn't as popular.
Meteos who couldn’t even name more than 2 midlaners… like bro is like “Oh yeah Chovy, Faker and all those other world winning mids”. Bro couldn’t even name Rookie? Scout? Crown? He literally named 2 midlaners and one of them has never even made a finals before… The disrespect towards Knight is actually crazy.
Literally such a stupid thing for him to say, like congrats man the only thing you've done is made yourself look dumber in my eyes. I can at least somewhat understand 'i think of chovy before i think of knight' in that context (still would illustrate the very obvious LCK bias that most of the western community has when it comes to the eastern regions) but chovy being the first name you think of after faker, while you don't think of knight at all? Get out of here dude that's actually just moronic
meteos low key looking a bit like pedro pascal and ed sheeran lovechild. but as a person who has followed faker since 2013, this man is truly insane. no real player, professional or not, would ever deny his position as the absolute GOAT of LoL and perhaps esports. trophies and whatnot, there hasnt been an esports player that has been as influential as faker, in the world...
Another thing they forgot about the game 3 grub fight was chovy didn't have tp so they couldn't double tp. It was going to be a 4v4 regardless and them letting faker tp in to make it a 4v5 was just another fumble on geng
He wouldn’t go through all that trouble to retrain himself on NEW peripherals (mouse, mousepad) and posture after 11 years if he planned to retire right after…
I dont know why anyone paid attention to the losing streak, both teams looked vastly different in quarters and if you look at both teams forms through the whole tournament you could see T1 was just the better looking team
I would have liked more talk about Gen G. I know you guys don't watch a lot of LCK, but it's huge news that Gen G lost. They were literally a monster super team with some players sacrificing paychecks to play together and win worlds.
It'll be nice to watch some jojo games where the commentary is about what he DOES in game rather than what he types in chat, so I'm pretty okay with him going to LEC.
theres no way meteos' first thought on the kindred pick was that its a skin pick... like wtf... oner doesnt even like playing kindred (he even said he would want his skin to be xin zhao) and from an analytical pov, they believed it to be the best pick for that comp (t1 have always said ever since their loss to drx 2022 that they dont take risks like "locking in a skin pick"; clearly its something that worked well in scrims). if they can prove they can play kindred then theyd be able to deny kindred from xun (kindred and nidalee enjoyer)/blg in the next series too. also his copium takes on c9 "wouldve done well at worlds". i know hes on c9s payroll but as someone who rly wanted c9 jojopyun to do well they were an incredibly flawed team and while losing to 100T was an upset, c9 had plenty of issues for other teams to capitalise on. not trying to seem like im hating on meteos but his comments for the past few dives have always seemed so off.
meteos brings an interesting perspective about some things, as a (more recently active) former pro in the modern era of league as opposed to kobe and jatt who played in the pre-region split era, and sometimes he has funny things to say... but i can't lie i think he just says stupid, thoughtless shit a lot of the time and it really makes me miss the MarkZ era of the dive (and for that matter, the Jatt era, which was my favorite)
I never saw Kobe bet on T1 in Worlds lol. He's a doubter. But really, T1 is different at Worlds. This is something that everyone must now remember for future reference. Even if they play shit in domestic, never count them out when Worlds commence
So we're just gonna not mention FLY exposing GenG's early game weakness and how they default to ADC mid when under pressure, which allowed T1 to both put pressure on them early AND ban their best options for that in Smolder/Ksante.
Early pressure and speed in game has always been the signature play of this T1 roster. GenGs value picks such as smolder and double adc has been their best picks all year. Kiin's Ksante is so well known in LCK that it's got a nick name' Kii-sante. Its really a no brainer that they'd go back to their comfortable picks when they are cornered. Just like T1s been messing up all year struggling with value picks but when it comes to the games that mattered, they had also gone back to their circus picks to win. So really Fly didnt reveal anything new. Gen vs Fly game was just re-confirming that the data we have still stands.
You're saying this like T1 hasn't been playing in the LCK and doesn't know already that Chovy likes to play Smolder mid amongst other ADC picks like Trist. This whole "FlyQuest forced GenG's hand and T1 benefited" narrative is just delusional. You act like Chovy has never pulled out Smolder before.
@@KE-c3i FLY exposed GEN's drafting. Once Smolder is banned, they no longer want to play Ksante. not only that but they also showed flaws in GEN's lane swaps. All of this information showed during T1 vs GEN.
@@YuYuYuna_ It's not about Chovy playing Smolder, it's about what will they play once Smolder is banned. That is what showed during the GEN vs FLY series. Their meta picks are not as good as their Smolder Ksante team comps. They also showed that they dont want Ksante when Smolder is banned. GEN has no practice when it comes to the new meta team comps and they are so used to ADC mids and just perma farm early to mid game. Now that T1 did not let that happen and made proactive plays throughout the early to mid game, GEN felt so uncomfortable. This information showed during FLY vs GEN series.
@YuYuYuna_ because they did lmfao, FLY dominated GenG whenever they couldn't go hard scaling and drag the game out. T1 drafted early game and played a fast early game which is why they won. That's exactly how FLY took two games off GenG
I believe in this roster since 2022. That world final loss hit me hard, surprised that my neighbor didn't throw rocks at my window. 2023 i believed in T1 vs LPL buff & faker long rest in summer split. 2024 ddos sabotage annoyed me enough to ditch watching lol regular splits of any region. Their summer knockout n regional were nerve-wrecking but also you know, you have this blind belief that they'll make it. VS TES i still trust their buff vs LPL. VS GenG was the most challenging, their track record domestically vs their world buff. Anyway. When did BLG became such a powerhouse?
Lol the worlds dive series has been meteos clueless about whatever the fck is happening in the LPL. My guy says the most useless shit when it comes to LPL team discussions

Regional tournaments is important since you gotta play consistently to win it all. Worlds is a joke of a tournament where teams gotta figure out the meta in a short period of time in these knock out matches. The drawings are all based on luck in the case with FPX facing FNC, IG, and G2 in 2019. People watch international because the best performing top 3 teams from their regions are competing against other top 3 from other regions. Rito allowing 4 seeds from LCK is what allowed T1 to be at Worlds. They've been playing like shit the past two years. They were 7th place regionally pre-playoffs. 0-4 vs BLG, 2-10 vs GENG. Winning Worlds does not reflect how good of a team they were that year. T1 is just good in these short-small tournaments, but in longer tournaments they've been playing like ass
@@hai3448 so what do you say about all the NA teams and EU teams that oh they have a great chance at worlds dominate the regions and do absolutely nothing. The domestic means nothing. On top of that riot makes the most money at worlds the most viewership the most sponsors everything. Its common sense the best performers at the biggest tournament. The most pressure are the best. If it wasn’t faker wouldn’t be known as the goat by literally everyone. Do you think anyone cares if faker and SKT win LCK? That is hilarious. This guy thinks chovy is the goat 🤣🤣🤣. Your thought process is the equivalent of thinking in the NBA the regular season MVP is the best player in the league. Same for the best regular season team that chokes in the most important games.
@@Gatorsssssss1 "Its common sense the best performers at the biggest tournament" Yeah and how did T1 get to Worlds this year as the 7th seed in regionals? Cause LCK was guaranteed a 4th seed with GEN G winning MSI. T1 only made it to Worlds because GEN G won giving them a 4th seed. T1 played like shit in summer. If Rito only allowed 3 seeds, T1 wouldn't be here with their shitty performance. Bro is such a T1 fanboy. What a clown 🤡🤡🤡 Explain how the "best" teams qualify for Worlds without Regionals. Dogshit take, buddy. Try again 🤡🤡🤡
I'm sad jojo is leaving NA, he's a great player who elevates the region I'm not sad he's leaving cloud9. that team was broken in some way and needed a change, and jojo's contract was not worth it.
It's hard to say its another T1 dynasty cause unlike last dynasty, they were consistently strong domestically. Just winning worlds makes this statement weak compared to previous SKT T1
Faker was at his peak that time. Now honestly an injury and if you've been following them or did not his injury never got better. He change his setup and they are all over the place with sponsor and busy schedule, no life just work and out of country or some event here and there. Then DDOS then bang tournament. From all sort yes its not a reason but he is playing 11 years and I feel the game now is more competitive than before I am watching since ages ago. Hence why after the Dynasty fall no one can go back to back and even back to back to back bsc its hard. Everyone is competitive even more better and growing. So the team actually going back to back to back when other every year there is this "super" team make all the runs like JDG and GenG...with all the brand name of the league...so this team max 4 years tgt with one legend doing what they did....Is enough said enough for me. IMO no other team is as busy on a lot sponspors and event like other team. The more fans you have the more you are hated but also need to fulfill a certain requirement unfortunately. Then the "magic" is I feel they sort of their event and mostly leave time for the players to train and play the game focus on the game not any events/obligation beside being a pro player and play the game their form are suddenly back. Its been this way last year too. No one was vouching for them even 2nd and against JDG and BLG 3 game.
yeah this isn't like most sports where it's only 'regular season games' vs 'playoffs'... the thing that made SKT T1 terrifying was dominance OVERALL. Domestically and internationally. This T1 is clearly a threat to win worlds every single year (should probably just be considered the favorite as long as they make it) but if you lose (or don't even make it to) 3/4 of the titles you can compete for in a given year, i'm really not buying that that's a dynasty. You win the most prestigious one and that's great, but that's not enough in my eyes to make a claim like that.
I think people are giving Knight too much of a credit. They beat WBG esp against a poor performing Xiaohu whos not really good, then a slumping HLE. Wasnt really impressed with his play overall. Bin on the other hand was doing a lot of work and Knight is benefitting a lot from his play.
I wonder who Shopifys bot will be. I feel Zeyzal gets a lot of unwarranted hate, he's pretty solid. I dont think bottom was the problem. I think Fakegod and Insanity were more the issue tbh. They are not bad players by any means but did look weaker than their opponents a lot of the tiemes. Still excited about seeing if this roster can put a new team name on the map!
Hard to get excited about C9s roster changes. I would have been really excited if they kept Jojo and went and got a LCK support. Vulcan is criminally overrated.
I wouldn't say he choked the series but he absolutely threw the last fight of game 4. 3 of his team were dead and Chovy + Canyon were already safely out of the fight. For some inexplicable reason Chovy turns around to put his E on Jax and auto him 4 times instead of just walking away. If he just right clicks down mid towards his nexus no one is in range to kill him. Jax isn't in range to leap to him. Jax only ever got into range because Chovy turned around and auto'd Jax 4 times before W'ing.
The most successful high level sports team I know of is the Canterbury Crusaders from rugby, 16 finals appearances, 14 wins over 29 years. Their league has been hit really hard over the last three years with the departure of their next strongest competition to other competitions, but before COVID they were looking highly likely to make it four wins back to back in the by far strongest club competition in the sport. Imagine if T1 won at least one split of a combined LCK + LPL + play ins for best of the rest level of league every year for 14 years. That club would probably have beaten world championship national rosters multiple times across multiple rosters across multiple decades if they fielded full strength in season sides. They even had a decade long drought where their coach was a complete griefer who lost them multiple finals with an even stronger player roster than the one that went back to back to back to sorta back (COVID) to back to back and still have a 50% finals win rate across all the seasons they've played (not made finals in).
Most competitive players dream of winning ONE worlds. When they do, most retire. Faker is potentially going to be a FIVE time world champion

Speaking of mental.. T1 was on a 10 loss streak and throw a big lead in Game 4,but still had the confidence to teamfight 4v5 instantly after they collapsed on Faker... That was kinda impressive...
Yeah, I think this is what defines worlds T1 vs otherwise, they just get in the zone and trust each other.
Yup, everything collapsed as soon as Peyz and their engagers got caught. Nida and Trist can't do sht against Jax and Pyke alive
this T1 roster compliments each other so much cause all of them have balls of steels. you can see it with faker's laning, oner's pathing, keria's positioning in fights, guma's psychotic flashes, zeus's playstile while being dive.
I don't see anyone bypassing this!
never missing a single semifinals is the craziest and most impressive stat in all of pro league of legends history imo.
Samsung as an org did win twice. Granted different rosters
this is a stat that has been well established already, with the T1 org having 11 years of not missing semis once they qualify.

T1 and their performance at worlds really proves 2 things
1) The META matters. Comparing them now to spring and summer is irrelevant. There is no point comparing Faker on his best champs like Akali to him playing ADCs in the mid lane all year. Who cares that GEN won however many times in a row, this META is completely different which makes that data irrelevant
2) There is something to be said for being Clutch and rising to the occasion.
They never won back to back rings but won 5 championships across a 15 year period… don’t be greedy!!
you need to go watch the T1 games during summer, Faker made terrible mechanical mistakes, the meta had nothing to do with him missing his skills and having bad positioning and macro
point n.2 is the only true and relevant thing here
@@christopherriordan2057 Geng also benefited heavily as the ADC mid compliments chovy playsytle which is to farm up and scale as add while canyon runs the map early with AP jglers...Geng also very good at playing defensive and scaling
@@jack90054and then they lost 3-1 to T1. Which illustrates a more discerning point: No 3-0 teams have even REACHED a final, let alone winning one.
Pretty sure even if this is the second “back to back” it’s still the first where it’s the exact same roster, which is nuts.
I always with the midroll Kia ad just because i love Meteos yelling "WHAT IS THAT" about the parking. its actually so funny to me

Not to mention this T1 roster could/would also be the first team roster to win back to back without any player roster changes to the starters.
Watching heavy is the crown again now his even harder now. Makes it more hype the way the tournament turned out
At 13:40 where Meteos is talking about what they do different, I think I know what they do.
T1 is inevitable. BLG is unyielding. What an incredible Finals, it truly has the potential to be the best series ever played.
Nope. 2022 is unreachable. For the weight of the narratives as the delivering.

His laning need some work, but that's normal for a young player, but he's so willing to move for Team fighting and protect neutrals parts of the map. A helps his support and jungle to roam
Like Legit the kid can be the next Massu.
Blaber and Vulcan need to step up with their leadership skills
PD: SUPPORT NACL. THERE'S TALENT THERE. WATCH NACL!
Zven brings more to the table in game, sorry. Compare to inspired and what he brings to his teams. Its really invaluable.
there is no world calibre talent in NACL.
Hey Jack, the freshest pasta you've ever tasted just dropped on the RUclips comments and it's gonna be even tastier next year when these "C9 lost the off-season" people have to explain how C9 won the championship with a midlaner they said was trash.
@@deathblaizertrue he brings what doubelift brought aka holding flash and not using it
I think its more the structure that sven adds.
Meteos is looking at this from too much of a T1 fan's perspective. For a fan of any other team, T1 IS the final boss.
Meteos calling Shopify Spotify unironically at this point is so funny to me💀
25:00 Azael is right about knight. Dunno why people disrespect my man. Probably because he had been on Top Esports....
maybe coz he is not "cute", vocal, or celebrity type player like those of JKL, TheShy, UZI, Rookie.
The answer is that majority of LoL eSports fans do not care about the bih ahh LPL lmao everything about their whole league is auraless
Meteos on that 3rd/1st split shift schedule lmao
o7
Both teams have a chance for making history if either of them won:
-If BLG won Knight will become the first Chinese mid lanner to ever won World and BLG will be the first LPL team to beat T1 in a Bo5 at Worlds stage and the first Chinese line up champion with no Korean.
-If T1 won they will succeed in defending theirs world title last year’s the second times this ever happened. Faker with his 5th world title will never be brought down by anyone ever
Tru so many narrative though i dont think anyone could even get to 3rd like faker not even talk about 4th
@@PeoplePleaser578meteos has no idea who crown or rookie is. i agree 🙂↕️
@@thelovebelow3378 The point is talking about Best Midlaners in LoL history and he can only name 2 and think Knight doesn’t appear in the top 5.
Getting Pedro Pascal vibes from Meteos 😂
meteos low key looking a bit like pedro pascal and ed sheeran lovechild.
but as a person who has followed faker since 2013, this man is truly insane. no real player, professional or not, would ever deny his position as the absolute GOAT of LoL and perhaps esports. trophies and whatnot, there hasnt been an esports player that has been as influential as faker, in the world...
I had T1 beating GENG, no reason or logic behind it i just learned a long time ago never to bet against T1 at worlds
T1 has always been good on red side
Another thing they forgot about the game 3 grub fight was chovy didn't have tp so they couldn't double tp. It was going to be a 4v4 regardless and them letting faker tp in to make it a 4v5 was just another fumble on geng
We hear a lot about Shopify and thats really cool, but we dont know anything about teams like Dignitas and thats really sad and stressfull :/
The faithful shall be rewarded
Roster moves for t1: Faker would be the only one not returning I feel. He would retire due to injury issues. It's possible, but we will have to see.
I really wonder who those casters lost the bet on T1 vs. GEN because I'm pretty sure many of them bet on GEN XD
but how would meteo's eggs smell if he laid eggs?
Lmao
really nice
Let's go TL_Ruler with TL_CoreJJ. Gen.G reunion in LCS!
I think if Jojo is considered a hardworker, Fudge should be as well.
Both used to be. Before Ego.

People who said they were on board since the start, show us your pick em’s 😂
I never saw Kobe bet on T1 in Worlds lol. He's a doubter. But really, T1 is different at Worlds. This is something that everyone must now remember for future reference. Even if they play shit in domestic, never count them out when Worlds commence
Rare F-bomb by Kobe @16:21 lol
BLG being one of the most dominant teams all year… they were also very good last year that’s why.
I didn't watch any semis but happy to watch the Dive!
some crazy glaze in this episode but we'll see how thick the plot armor is...
So..... wanna comment now? xd
Lol the worlds dive series has been meteos clueless about whatever the fck is happening in the LPL. My guy says the most useless shit when it comes to LPL team discussions
T1 just all have the fundamentals down. They all know how a fight should be fought, and to take turns or sacrificing for the team fight.
WHAT DID HE SEE BIN DOING O.o
Faker's Ahri > Chovy's Ahri
Every single region, everyone knows domestic doesn’t mean anything. What do people watch the most international. That’s all people really care about. So whoever wins worlds. Was the actual best team.
True and even if were talking about regional faker already have 10 HAHAHA
Yeah, FPX 2019, DRX 2022, best teams of their year despite either not winning both spring/summer, not making it to MSI, etc. 🤡🤡🤡 L take
You're downplaying the hardwork each team spends for months just to win domestic titles.
@@Gatorsssssss1 "Its common sense the best performers at the biggest tournament"
Yeah and how did T1 get to Worlds this year as the 7th seed in regionals? Cause LCK was guaranteed a 4th seed with GEN G winning MSI.
T1 only made it to Worlds because GEN G won giving them a 4th seed. T1 played like shit in summer. If Rito only allowed 3 seeds, T1 wouldn't be here with their shitty performance.
Bro is such a T1 fanboy. What a clown 🤡🤡🤡
Explain how the "best" teams qualify for Worlds without Regionals. Dogshit take, buddy. Try again 🤡🤡🤡

110% you're either an EU G2 fanboy butthurt or you're an LPL fanboy that hates T1. Cope and seethe!

5:29 pretty sure Chovy has no TP cause he used it on bot to farm lol
the supp gap will be massive (again) lehends 2.0 coming up lol
Potential 2nd time LCK 4th seed wins worlds
I'm sad jojo is leaving NA, he's a great player who elevates the region
I'm not sad he's leaving cloud9. that team was broken in some way and needed a change, and jojo's contract was not worth it.
BVOY going back to SR too..
Finals feels like an unstoppable force meeting an immovable object. Hope we get 5 games and Bin gets to lift the trophy.
Doubt BLG now, cry later
Hating on pyke, but it has a 100% win rate at worlds....
Still excited about seeing if this roster can put a new team name on the map!
goat roster
Hard to get excited about C9s roster changes. I would have been really excited if they kept Jojo and went and got a LCK support. Vulcan is criminally overrated.
I'm so sick of all these stockholm C9 defenders. Y'all r trying to force square pegs into round holes and the results r getting worse and worse.
I don’t think Chovy choked. T1 Lehends was mvp
Chovy was the reason geng had to play 4v5
I wouldn't say he choked the series but he absolutely threw the last fight of game 4. 3 of his team were dead and Chovy + Canyon were already safely out of the fight. For some inexplicable reason Chovy turns around to put his E on Jax and auto him 4 times instead of just walking away. If he just right clicks down mid towards his nexus no one is in range to kill him. Jax isn't in range to leap to him. Jax only ever got into range because Chovy turned around and auto'd Jax 4 times before W'ing.
How about peyz not flashing skarner r@@YuYuYuna_
They even had a decade long drought where their coach was a complete griefer who lost them multiple finals with an even stronger player roster than the one that went back to back to back to sorta back (COVID) to back to back and still have a 50% finals win rate across all the seasons they've played (not made finals in).
also not banning Kingen's aatrox on the drx win that year should put that coach on a prison trial, anyways good that he got fired afters too.
He sees Bin coming at his ass 😂
