Faker's game 4 and 5 performance was the most insane two-game stretch I've ever seen from anyone -- he truly turned it up to another level. Watching that live was an absolute treat and I am still in shock. Congrats to T1!

As an lpl fan, faker has my upmost respect. Ppl never really appreciate enough how good he is. I really enjoyed this banger final series and I'm really proud of BLG despite their loss, I can feel they really gave it their all, it could be their moment in game 4 and 2 teams were really close, but faker is still that guy, that unsurpassable mountain, it has been 10+ years and this guy is still putting up insane performance on world stage, I can't fcking believe it.

People may not think about it, but 2023 and 2024 actually shows how special was DRX’s 2022 win. They had that special spark that shone more brightly than everyone for just the right moment. GenG and BLG did not show that. They were very strong teams but the never went to that “plus ultra” moment.

Although I actually think the game 1 first blood and wasting his flash and cleanse in game 5 were more because of the outplays by blg, they clearly did their homework and found ways to shut him down. The 2nd game first blood was a big blunder tho 😅
@@dianamandarina i mean yeah is not only his fault honestly was misplays over misplays but good thing they closed that fight the best, first choosing to fight 4v5, Keria was far from Guma in some of the times and missed his Ulti, Zeus got lost for a moment there and Bin Jax deleted Guma, Oner? not sure he just went charging into On not sure if they grouped would have worked better but oh well good thing they won.
The moment the whole series turned around was Faker's solo kill in Game 4 in top lane. That was wild to watch live, everyone was having a meltdown after Zeus's 3 deaths, and then after that kill it's like T1 got jolted awake and switched on and they turned around that game playing like crackheads, and game 5 was almost textbook T1. Pretty epic series.

Losing early game against a stall comp like that feels like having your fate sealed and you slowly bleed after 40mins, except that one guy decides he won't go quietly into the night and everyone else takes up arms alongside him. The rest of the game felt like they were YOLOing at every opportunity and it worked.
Honestly people need to give Zeus more credit in G4. He found a way to outlevel and outcs Bin that game despite getting targeted 3x. He could be literally useless but stayed relevant toward the end.
@@fobinc i don't know about giving him credit... the reason he's ahead against bin is cause he dies to get some gold/exp while bin is playing extremely safe to not let t1 kills him... basically making it so zeus gets a little farm but feed the enemy, while bin don't get any farm but also not feeding the enemy... that's the reason why he's ahead of bin but his teammates are all behind of gold(cause of his death)... so it's more on how well his teammates play being behind in gold just to give zeus an advantage against bin...

Zeus in game4 already pulling his weight a lot despite getting a lot of ganks from BLG, he also bought times for Oner to get ahead in level so they can contest the Grubs and because Bin can't farm he is quite irrelavant I think for most of the game except that one time he managed to get the mega Gnar in top lane and turn back the pace.

This roster is just unbelievable! Oner deserves more love, his synergy with Faker turned that fight in Game 5. T1's top side is monstrous.
oner-faker at worlds are just absolutely synchronized monsters, last year azir shifting into the dragon pit the same instance rell flashing over ashe arrow, rell dashing in the same moment azir shuffles varus, this year we have galio taunt and xin zhao knockup at the same time, absolutely beautiful

Ddos wasn’t an issue in summer, that was spring, issue. Honestly, it was meta. If you watch LCK, faker’s clearly a horrible adc. He kept trying to push limits too early, when adc’s should only really do that mid to late game. “Luckily” riot buff mages right before worlds, weather it was intentional or not, I hate adc solo laning and love T1 so I’m glad. 🤷🏼♂️

Probably because this was a harder series than last year. They were down 2-1 and had to come up from behind to win. Faker says something like "I didn't do anything this game" against the GenG series and something like that in the finals last year so this win definitely feels better for him.

If he hadn’t done what he done to keep them going to game 5 his young brothers woulda collapsed due to blunders and being sweeped. So yeah his 2015-2017 faker side came out with his damn beautiful sylas and galio play and his teammates just had to show up as well. Without that there was no momentum and game woulda went on for too long.

I was still in awe with that 3v4 combat and just after the hightlight, a decisive combat happened immediately and I was in shock lol. But damn, I have to say their ability to read the situation is insane. Normally, Galio would just let Gragas die but they spotted that Ahri was near Poppy and the rest is history.

Everyone did good. The perfect follow up to Faker's engage, them winning the 4v4 while Faker fights Bin, Zeus soaking ALL the dives, Oner being gold at following up and being the center for Faker's Galio ult, Guma recovering and Keria pulling the Poppy flex when it mattered most.
Everyone stepped up but I can't deny Faker deserves series MVP too. He stepped up big time. Almost reminiscent of his carry days.

@@Gwynsladle he didnt gap chovy, he was doing fine against faker but I agree with you on the playmaking part. Chovy seems to be more conservative on when to turn it on and go 1v9. Last teamfight on tris he hesitated if he would help poppy or just run back, he didnt do both and awkwardly kited back. That's basically what sums up Chovy this worlds imo - indecisiveness.

I just finished watching the twitch vod, and I‘m still crying. I‘m sad that I couldn’t be able to watch this live, I avoided any social media for two days to not get spoiled and oh how it was worth it. What a wonderful journey this has been. From the beginning of March this year, when I started watching Caedrel‘s videos, got into LoL esports and became a T1 fan, to now, 8 months later, I‘m so glad that this is a part of my life. I can’t think of anything that makes me shake with excitement, yell happily to myself in my room at crazy plays, like watching league and seeing the players I‘ve grown so much to like be happy. I’m so so happy for ZOFGK that they achieved this milestone again and that I got to witness it. Seeing Zeus, Oner, Keria, Guma and Faker beaming when they won, I was so happy and proud. I really really hope ZOFGK stay together. And even if they don’t, I hope they‘ll find happiness wherever they go next, and I‘ll support all 5 of them no matter what.
I know you‘ll never read this, but Thank You Caedrel for what you do. You make watching League of Legends so enjoyable, I can’t wait to watch your videos every day next year as well. Rest well on your very deserved break 🫶🏻

Last time I watched a bit of lol content on youtube was a couple years back, so I understand what this game is about, and I love Arcane, but I really fell into the rabbit hole when I watched Dumbs‘ Worlds Stuff 2023 early this year and then youtube recommended Caedrel to me ^^ And since I‘ve been watching Caedrel I understand League so much more, it’s amazing how well he analyses this game
hi, i‘m so sorry for the late reply, i thought i replied to you already! i‘m not playing the game myself (yet), but i do want to try again. i tried to get into it back in 2017 when i started watching a german youtuber play league, but i never really got the hang of it. i basically watched nothing about league for years after that, then this year dumb’s 2022 & 2023 worlds stuff were recommended on my youtube, i found it hilarious and grew to like ZOFGK. then caedrel‘s videos popped up on my for you and since then i basically binge watched every single video on his channel haha no i‘m not obsessed
so yeah i got into the esports side through caedrel and through him i started to understand the game a bit better :)
i played through the tutorial two months ago again, but the items & runes etc still confuse me 😅

Zeus must be honored. All his knockups with Ornn was game-changing, he literally turned the tides of battle. His Gragas was just absolute perfection. Keria absolutely annihilated BLG's chances of winning the last fight with that clutch Poppy ult.
Watched this live and it was the most intense BO5 I have seen. The level of play is increasing across the regions and I am here for it. I legit had tears in my eyes seeing Faker smiling ear to ear, especially after all the hate T1 received during the season and the amount of stress they had going into this.
