Thank you for letting me be a part of this stellar video, man. I could listen to you talk about these games all day. And your cinematic transitions between games were fantastic.
@@PINKAS1 What do you think of the Warwave or Was Aesthetics genre? Combining war footage with 80s or Synthwave songs with a glitch effect and VHS overlay.
@@roranger6208 Barely scratched the surface on that, it looks kind of meme'y and cheap to me but hey, that's what a lot of people thought about vaporwave back in the day aswell
It's me, ChronosTech, the guy who recommended Katana Zero just on a second account. And let me just say, you've earned my subscription on this account too after this masterpiece.
Pinkas is just getting better and better at making these types of videos 👏 ps. I would play all the games but broken reality seems like a game that’ll keep me up all night
LOL sorry to hear you didn't enjoy Vallhalla dude. I also didn't know what I was getting myself into, but I found myself really enjoying the story line, learning about the world, and meeting various characters. The soundtrack slaps HARD. Super nice game to chill out to if I'm not in the mood to yank my teeth out playing games that require skill and patience (neither of which I have) lol Sick video! I will definitely check out Katana Zero and Broken Reality at some point.
I think aesthetic & story have to work together. I get the feeling that you really enjoy fast paced action, and that’s great, but I personally love atmospheric games with these aesthetics that give you people & a world to care about too. Because yes, I’m a little salty about your review of Va-11 Hall-A lol
There are many a games, especially found in the Wholesome Games event, that are just about you being a barista, serving your customers. And, really, it's about as accurate of a depiction of that job as it can get: it isn't tough, but requires practice; you listen to the thoughts of your customers, and if they're regulars, even chat for a while; you get nice folks, rude folks, quiet folks, moody folks... While I'm not sure how much I would enjoy that type of games, I can definitely see the appeal in doing a job that, while repetitive, can have a lotta flavor from the customers, and a lotta satisfaction for serving them a good blend.
I just realized.. Synthwave is what we were promised in the 90's Outrun is what we were promised in the 80's Cyberpunk is what we were promised in the 2000's..🤔
yooo, Pinkas. Love your videos man, I have a vaporwave game to suggest, you probably heard or seen this game before - Verlet Swing. It's basically vaporwave spiderman simulator. Look forward to another rvideo like this
Great video. You may be too young to know of these, but check out Rez, Syndicate, and Beneath a Steel Sky There are also a couple more modern games that you may enjoy: Let Them Come and Desert Child
dude honestly you really should finish broken reality, I had the same thing as you where I never was able to finish it but then one day I sat down and pushed through and wow, it was such a great ending. A lot of the story also heats up during the Geo City so that might help you
Here are two games which are not only fun but I do not understand why vaporwave fans aren't aware of them. -Hypnospace Outlaw: A game set in 1999 where you police the citizens of a virtual 90s internet with so much to do! Plenty of content, not exactly vaporwave but it defiantly has it's moments. Any vapor fan would enjoy this game. -PUSS! : A fun game that plays like the undertale fights, with clear vaporwave influences and a strong psychedelic vibe. Great music, fun influences and plenty of cats. Who doesn't love cats!?
Thank you for your skin sacrifice to bring us this great video. I love the effort and you have top notch edited and scene usage. I can't wait to see more of your work in the future.
Theres an, i assume indie game that i got in a bundle off of itch.io not too long ago that has a very strong (to my knowledge) vaporware aesthetic. The gameplay isnt really all that but it is quite pretty and relaxing. Just a light suggestion maybe more of a "look it up" than a "you have to buy amd play it".
Another Vaporwave game that I heard of is Self Checkout Unlimited. It's a bit of a walking game with liminal space as you are in a locked mall and you traverse through it going in stores that represent the stages of life, starting at the Birthday store. Check it out, Pinkas. store.steampowered.com/app/1221320/SelfCheckout_Unlimited/
very impresive how you power through to all that diferent game styles and also sold your skins to buy them... Vallhalla has a very fucked up script and is one off the funniest shit I ever play, however is very dam slow. Great video, love your channel your edits are very fresh and hilarious.
Thank you for talking about Broken Reality, it's such a beautiful game imo. I encourage you to continue on with the game as there is indeed an ending that I personally found pretty interesting.
Biggest problem with vaporwave game, and I have been sketching few of those, is inherit lack of meaning, being stuck in that small loop of a e s t h e t i c s is something that is really hard to translate into a something that will keep pulling you forward, and not just stare at the pink roman statues. Shout out ideas if any got any for Vaporwave game.
Learning Japanese and reading hiragana and Kanji In these games are really awesome (and funny). Katana zero makes you feel super cool so I recommend it also.

Hypnospace Outlaw is pretty vaporwave, it's features a seapunk parody and includes at least one vaporwave track iirc.
Suggestion for next videos:
You should talk about Cyberpunk and Aesthetic Girls
I like where this is going
Thank you for This video! I spent hours searching for games and this helped a lot more. Keep up the great videos!
