    I know this isn't your first custom suspension build, but to see you move the engine from the front to the rear AND make it look clean is a feat of its own. This build is definitely sizing up to be your finest work.

    Rear steer would’ve actually been so cool. I think this is already cool enough though. Theoretically you could always add rear steer later on.
    I was super skeptical when you mentioned you were gonna do this build, but seeing all the hard work and planning that went into this between both you and Mateo makes me super confident and happy that you decided to do this. You’ve always been a little unconventional and thought outside the box with your builds, and this one is no different.
    The Mid-Engine Eclipse is legit!

    Ging, you really need to strengthen those mounts for the rear subrfame (the tubular one not the mitsu one) at 11:13. They will not handle forces in the front/back direction very well at all. You need a plate 90deg to the existing three plates to link them together. Making the piece that bolts to it more of a U shape instead of a flat plate would be a good idea too (not a lot of side to side strength with those slots). Its kind of hard to explain over text.

    Wow really starting to come together. Great that everything lined up well and sit on it's wheels, I imagine that's much harder than it looks to pull off. Also just a random thought, and maybe this is not even an issue, but is there any worry about the back glass cracking from the heat of the motor? I'm thinking when it's very cold out. I guess getting a ton of airflow back there should make it be fine though.

    • @_Gingium_
      @_Gingium_  2 года назад +4

      A lot of measuring to make it all line up lol. I wouldn't be too worried about any of the rear glass. Its all tempered and I don't imagine it would crack unless it saw a drastic temperature change very quickly. With that being said, I plan to replace the main rear glass with a sheet of plexiglass.

    i wasnt a fan of this build originally but ive complete 180 changed my mind.
    the only part im not stoked about is you giving it away. this one should be a prized possession and a vehicle that you take around to shows and tracks to showcase your skill and build your brand. this thing is truly a marvel.
    there HAS to be a second one made if you just 'give" this one away. maybe do a 2nd gen version of it next?
    seriously im completely shocked at the turn out... i still would be against this "mid engine" idea but DAMN you aced this one buddy.
