God of War 3 was one of the best games on the Playstation 3. It pushed the hardware to its limits and left fans in awe at the epic scale of it all. God of War 3 Remastered brings the classic on the PS4, int full 1080p and a silky smooth 60FPS. The game certainly looks better, but for those of you who have already played the game you won't find anything new or different here other than the updated graphics. At the $40 price tag it's perfect for people who have never played the game. But for those of you who have played it already, it won't bring anything new to the experience.
Regardless, it's an excellent story and finishes Kratos quest for vengeance. If only the gods would have taken his visions away... Kratos is hell bent on killing Zeus and toppling Olympus for meddling in his life and betraying him. Kratos is the ultimate anti-hero. He feels no remorse in his actions, as long as it helps accomplish his ultimate goal. He is haunted by the memories of his slain family. He will not stop until all those who betrayed him, pay for their actions.
As always, we included relevant dialogue, important gameplay and all cutscenes to create one fluid cinematic experience. There is a lot of puzzles and combat in God of War, and we cut where we deemed it necessary. We hope you enjoy the video. All credit to the brilliant minds at Santa Monica Studio!

Puzzled the hell outta me. I mean it could be an honor sort of thing, yet at the beginning that gets shot down since Poseidon decides to go ham egg on multiple titans AND Kratos, it always confused on why he didn't get some backup. Could be, maybe more likely, that they were all condescending pricks and didn't bother aiding their fellow Olympians.

I loved how all of the Greek myths of the Gods and Titans were explored in this game, at the time it was a good conclusion or so we thought. 2018 God of war was the bomb. Can't wait for Ragnork

14:21 I feel that they wasted Poseidon as the introductory Boss fight seeing as Poseidon was the god with the most versatility(God of the Sea, Stormbringer and Earthshaker meaning that he rules the sea and has influence in the Sky and Earth) not to mention that Poseidon was also known for his ridiculous strength(That being him picking up and throwing a large mountain). I always expected Poseidon's children to be the ones known for feats of strength, not Zeus. It IS possible that the reason Heracles is so strong is because Hera unknowingly nursed him as a baby (My own personal head-canon). That is the only difference I see between him and Zeus' other demigod children. What I find weird is that Leto, Helios and his sister aren't Titans in this series.
I feel like they made Poseidon into a beginning tutorial boss to just show how powerful Kratos ACTUALLY is. I mean he made one of the strongest gods in the whole pantheon into a little tutorial boss you can defeat with no effort

A bit of fridge brilliance here, but it was mentioned in the Tropes page for God of War that Hercules uses his Roman name and appearance rather than his Greek one (Heracles). Something that wasn't mentioned though was that Hera's Roman equivalent, Juno, is often regarded as the patron goddess of the Empire, of which Hercules was considered to be the godly counterpart of the Roman Emperor.
Bit of food for thought, otherwise Hercules/Heracles would likely be on Kratos's side, largely because Hera absolutely despised him.
Yeah, but don't forget that Hercules was jealous and Kratos said Gods were arrogant. Hercules wanted Kratos' spot as the God of War. I'm not being mean or rude when I say this but this is a game version of it's depiction of Greek Mythology. All the gods are depicted in different ways including attitude, attire, weaponry, etc.

So how exactly did we get from Kratos being dead to Kratos being in the Norse universe?
Count Spartula last scene he plunged himself off the cliff (again) and presumably got carried off so far he got into other realm. How does that make sense don't ask me.
There's still many unanswered questions even after I finished GoW4. It was never explained how Faye and Kratos met. I can only speculate in the fact that Faye is a Giant and Giants are big on prophecies. That being said, I think Faye took wind of what happened to Kratos(ending of GoW3) through a prophecy and rescued him. When, where or how? I have no clue but it's the only explanation I can come up with that could lead into what GoW4 is.
