- The Ghost-with-theMost is officially back on Broadway. Beetlejuice tells the story of Lydia Deetz, a strange and unusual teenager whose life changes when she meets a recently deceased couple and Beetlejuice, a demon with a thing for stripes. God this looks so good! I really want them to film a performance! Then us small town peeps can watch it without having to pay over a hundred dollars! They did it with Hamilton so why not Beetlejuice!
i dont think this will happen, mostly because the marquis theatre seats hundreds and hundreds of people, i think around 1.6k seats. if everyone in the theatre spends 130$ on average to see the show, that’s 208,000$ they’re making in one night. when i went to see it a few days ago, it was almost fully sold out, so until the beetlejuice hype train calms down quite a lot, i don’t think we’ll be seeing a proshot. filming a proshot is more of a last resort.

I would pay over a hundred dollars to see it, but I live across the country so I can't just pop into Broadway. I fully intend to drop the money for the tickets when the tour gets to my neck of the woods, and I'd still go see it even if I had the video. It's like any other musical. Having the video just makes you more eager to see it.
