- I use my 2015 RAM 1500 for work (roofing), and sometimes I load it upwards of 2,000 lbs (even though we are not supposed to). These trucks come with pretty weak suspensions as it is. Needless to say, the back sags A TON when it’s loaded upwards of 600lbs ish.
So I decided to upgrade the rear could springs to help out with the heavy loads.
And I’ve got to say . . . WHAT A DIFFERENCE ! The truck doesn’t sag ONE BIT ! I wish I would have bought these sooner.

Nice video. Last year I did the Tufftruck 1211 rear springs on my Ram. We do a lot of camping and they cured the sag from the trailer.
Nice simple video. Just what I needed. Thanks!
Great informative video. Looks like those are working out well for you
Great video ShoodieDoubie. Thanks for posting.
Nice Video, easy to follow. very helpful.
Exactly what I needed bro , truck looks hot too
Awesome tutorial, thank you!! I just ordered a set of Tufftruck variable rate coil springs and was going to ask if the sway bar needs to be disconnected but I noticed you dont have one on your truck, lol
Great video, helped me out, thanks.
Thank you for the video, going to do the same to my truck
Good luck 👍
About to do this same project. very helpful! thanks!!
did you add any leveling of any kind to the front? looks nice and level.
@@CharlieBrown_007 yeah, I installed a 3” level kit from supreme suspensions 🤙🏽
Great video Thank you
i did some upgraded springs and shocks......shocks couldnt handle it. roughcountry n3 shocks bounced like crazy, almost bouncing me off the road. so now having to upgrade the shocks to bigger ones somehow.
Very nice video, thanks for posting. Getting ready to replace the springs on my 2017 Ram, since I tow a travel trailer. I do have one question, though. I noticed you left the tire on one side while you did the other. I was under the impression you had to remove both rear tires when you change the coil springs. Can you just do one side at a time? Or does it matter? Thanks again for an informative video!!
I can take the springs out with the wheel left on I just take the 4 swaybar bolts out and let it hang
@@canadianryan3875 Thank you for responding!
where did your sway bar go....you remove before the video? Nice install
I have a 2016. And cant decide on the variable or the standard ones. Did the variable ones lift your rear-end any?
How’s the ride quality with kyb mono max?
What is your rear rack height without any load
My 2013 1500 hemi was the other way around it was 2” higher in the rear vs the front so I added 2” lowering springs in the rear
Question do you know how much shorter they were? Thanks for the video
No more than an inch bro
How’s the ride with it unloaded?
A little stiff because of the Monomax shocks that I installed a while back I’m pretty sure if I change them, it might be better 🤙
@@shoobiedoubie6871 was it stiffer with those shocks and the stock springs?
@@penmakerar it was definitely stiffer with the old springs.
I bought these springs about a week ago, and I haven’t received any confirmation number for my purchase or email about anything it’s sketchy. Just be careful guys.
did you get them?
@@BBBILLY86 yes!
