Great video! I’m studying my CDL permit and my fiance now wants to study again !!! Perhaps we can Team drive . He has a box truck but want to now Leave his Options Open . 😊
thank you, good idea to have a rhythm. Me and my wife just finished everything here in Canada coming from EU, and us 3 (me+wife+10month baby) hit the road hard, Vancouver-Los Angeles-San Diego-Edmonton-Vancouver was first trip and second was trough Dallas and back to north Alberta and home. In our situation is very difficult to adapt that plan, I try to focus more on work and do everything related to work and she can focus on the baby. At the moment I am driving from early morning to late night she in the meantime best case scenarion gets some shuteye when baby is sleeping during the day and then from 9ish pm to about 2-3am she gets good sleep, then I go in for 4h max 5h. Yes, we are doing something shady but that's how it is at us. Anywho, when we go down to Texas or such, will give a shoutout maybe we can meet for a quick 15min. Thank you
I now you are out here to make money and work hard but please please love that little baby and your wife more then to push yourself to unsafe schedules. Check out my video don't sleep and drive ruclips.net/video/S7z9sF6Dtn8/видео.html
thank you for the concern(saw the video when you posted it) we have a few rules in place, the first and most important one, when one of us feels just a tad drowsy he/she pulls over the other one comes in or we take 30-45min powernap. Yes, we do it for the money, you could say( tho at this company we are payed WAY less than market, but that is life coming from EU with work permit)but we love travelling, we saw all of Europe and all of the big cities so for us that is the main goal. The love of driving for me is very strong so I simply enjoy driving and I can do very long stints, but safety comes first and we know it.thanks
No we keep it real on our channel... the reality is when you spend 120+ hrs a week in moving truck sometime you want to be comfortable. Depending on the route we run our truck runs 20 hrs outta 24hrs 5 days straight.... so yes sometimes we dont wear our seatbelts. We try our best to be real and transparent about the reality of trucking. Team trucking is a hard job!
Thank you !!! I was really wondering about that . I have to Be Routined . Thank you . I was going to ask the the on boarding Rep . But figured he or she may Not Be able to Answer that question. “ because there sales representatives not Drivers “
No, we dint typically waer a searbelt if we aren't driving because we are in the truck 120 hrs a week minimum. We are team drivers doing 5-6,000 miles a week
@@SimpleLivin you are welcome mam ! Absolutely love your vids so glad for you guys and girls out there on the road you have my respect ! You rock girl !! Were you guys at now ?? Be safe ! 👍👍
Not sure if someone answered you or not, but the hours are usually a little funky and you'll have a driver who has more hours than the other. Sometimes during busy weeks, one driver will do a rolling reset which means you don't drive for 34hrs and one team mate who has the hours essentially becomes a solo driver for 34hrs. But! During slow weeks we tell our Drive manager we wanna take our 34 together and they'll get us load going to where we wanna do our 34 at. And we will start fresh.
My husband and I run a lot of just in time loads. We discovered a load that leaves out every two weeks from Mississippi to Oregon. This allows both of us the opportunity to drive all day without dropping and hooking when we leave out from home time. When we get good drive hours at the beginning of our 70's we don't have to sit for 34 hours. Instead, we sit for about 12 hours to get our time back that we drove at the beginning of our 70's. We are on the road for 11 days and home for 3 days, but the first of the three days is driving home.
contact me and will get you in a truck ASAP. My email is: Intergemcorporation@live.com 1000-2000 miles per week... Will pay you great... 0.80cpm for team. Can have truck at your home base...
3 to 3 is exactly what my wife and I do, gives both drivers some night and day driving and is a good time to stop for a break. In your 12 hour shift How many hours do you actually end up driving each?
Finding a set routine and sticking with it is best. For us it really depends on what dedicated route we are driving. Currently and we're driving to Orlando. so we each only have to drive about 8 to 9 hours... depending on traffic weather in construction LOL. Y'all stay safe out there may God bless you
Thanks for your concern...We would rather be transparent and real to all of you guys. There are times our truck is moving 22 hrs outta 24... to wear a seatbelt the whole time isn't realistic. We cover a lot of miles
i know this was a few years ago. Im looking to see if I am training someone and Im in the passenger seat while they are driving, can I be off duty so Im not running my clock and can drive if and when needed ? Im teaching him how to drive and im not driving at all. I am only riding in the passenger seat and we go into the sleeper at the same time but then I go off duty and he goes on duty for pretrip and drive. I can't find anything about it online. Please assist if anyone can.
Not sure if its 100% the correct answer but from our understanding you will operate similar to a solo driver. You as the trainer will be logged on in on duty status. The driver you are training will be in driving status. Biggest thing is you need to be along side the driver you are training so in the passenger seat as they drive. Also follow all guidelines as you would as a solo driver. We hope this is helpful and answers your questions
I knew someone would have something to say about no seat belt, but the truth is we are just gonna keep it real... I'm not gonna be fake or pretend to do or not do something (always wear a seat belt). When you are in the driver seat 11hrs and spend 120 hours in the truck a week the reality is sometimes you just wanna try to be comfortable.

Trucker's table sent us!! We try to keep a schedule but with different load times it's pretty tough. Good advice tho!!
You are right it's so hard to have a schedule when you dont know when your loads are being leased. We hated being on the over flow board!
Just saw this video helpful but she wasnt wearing her seatbelt!!!😣

Setting in the front seat, you are on duty statue
Can't log off when you're on the road. On duty counts toward the break. Off duty is illegal when your working

That seat bt must not have been functional 😂😂😂
Nope not in the passenger seat!
@@SimpleLivin i figured as much
Could I start my 34 hour reset while my wife is driving or is it not allowed to be in reset while the truck is moving?
From our understanding YES! One of us has finished have their reset when the other starts the trip
Well that explains that, but i'm retired, so no logs for me anymore :)..thanks anyway and God Bless..
Why aren't you wearing your seat belt?
Because I'm an adult. It's my choice. It is not the law for passagers to do so.
@@SimpleLivin Alright fair enough.
Because we are team drivers our truck doesn't stop often. We do between 5,000-6,500 miles in 5-6days. Our truck is our work vehicle and our house.
