My husband and I start truck driving school on 9/13 we are both very excited about financial freedom this industry provides. You earned a new subscriber today and thanks for sharing 👋
I went thru the Conway freight which is now XPO. I signed a one year contract saying I would work for them. Here is a video explaining it more. ruclips.net/video/og7PSWBz0QQ/видео.html
Awww thank you so much!!! Be sure when you subscribed you clicked notifications or youtube won't tell you when we put new content out. Sadly youtube is it friendly to small channels.
My husband and I hit the road on October 11th. We have been driving local home daily for awhile and finally have made the leap to OTR. Gonna stack that money to get property.
We couldn't imagine life any other way!!!! Of more couples did this when they first got married it would set them up well for a strong marriage and good finances.
Rough roads are probably one of the most frustrating things in team driving especially for the driver that's trying to sleep. Stay safe and many blessings
Well - (since you asked) ... YES!! Show us the BLOOPERS! (and remember, we love you guys, no judgements ... be great to see you're real, just like the rest of us!)
Can me and my wife get our cdl together and start driving together right then I need to know more steps cause we’re 24 and 22. And are trying to start school and I wanna know how we can start that team thing
Idk if you guys want to, but if not thats ok. Just was wondering what company you guys are working for? Did it take a while to look for a company you guys liked? How did you find or do you find good team companie... any advice ? Also, how much do you guys make a week? If you dont want to give an exact price, well can you guys give an estimation ? :) idk if you want to answer this in a video or just type it out.
I never thought about before, but my first thought would be one of you drove while the other rested, makes sense. It kind feels like the whole point of two people would be to take turns driving.
Most people don't realize the truck can move 22 out of 24 hours. That you get to sleep alone every night in a moving truck. Its definitely not for the birds
So you guys are mentioning your house is paid off/up for sale, and putting down for a new house. If you're always on the road, how are you going to ever enjoy the rural homestead? Is this only temporary? I'm about to take my CDL exam and am not yet married but will likely get married this Fall/Early Winter (November or December 2024), and will be doing OTR on my own for a little bit, since my future wife doesn't have a CDL. I know for one thing, as a Christian couple, another aspect to really think about is that God says it's precious and important to be able to have children. How can you do that when you're trucking?
Great questions. I'll try to answer the best I can but highly recommend sending a message on fb or Instagram. Trucking lifestyle is very difficult. We highly recommend thinking thrubit hard if you have a young marriage or kids. The first 2 years we drive year round to pay off the house , then for 4 years toke off 6 months (summer ) to work our own biz, found a dream home so we came back on the road to pay off that mortgage. The property was a big upgrade and needed to be remodeled. We are home every week to work on the house amd go to church. I (Angela) can't have children which is why inhave stayed in trucking and on the road. I hope i covered everything. Many blessings and may God bless you
My wife just got her cdl and we started team driving for a few months now, my question is how or what is the easiest way to do a pre trip / post trip inspection for each driver, is it even both or just one or the other, so for we been doing 15 minutes for each pre trip and post trip, for each driver, that seem like a lot of time wasted
Congratulations guys! That is a great question. I personally think there is a difference in team driving when you are husband and wife. There is a different level of respect and care. I'm gonna agree that 2 full pre amd post trips is alot and alot of time. We normally do a really great inspection every time we fuel and then do quicker walk around when we stop every 4 or 5 hrs. Thats us personally though. Best of luck! We are here to help! Be safe and be blessed
Hi!! Question, I hope you see this!!! My boyfriend and I are getting are cdls soon! How long do we have to train on the road before we get to drive together??
Hello! This is exciting news. Every company has different requirements. Some companies will allow it in a few weeks others a year. Check out the last 2 weeks. One is how to choose the right company. The other os how husband and wife team drivers are like unicorns. Wishing you the best of luck.
It really depends on the company and the miles you drive. I would say between $175,000-$250,000. If you would like to send a private message to Facebook or Instagram we can chat more about it.

I teamed out of Indiana for over 2.5 years...agree how sad it was to return to some of the worst roads in our home state.

Do you have kids and if yes, how do you balance kids and be out on the road together ?
Scott has adult children and grandchildren. We typically take 5-10 days off 3-5 a year and spend time with them
Congratulations
Thank you!
Does your company need another team? We can’t seem to get miles and only half time on a dedicated route.
