      Others have mentioned using wall paper or a think wall covering material (installed similar to wallpaper), but I don't know how the smoothness would be impacted by the screw heads and slightly raised seam edges. Other options are stuccoflex, drywall mud, or glue wood planks on wall.

    That bay window, btw my idea, made into a storage/charging area as a headboard to a bedroom would be awesome along with a bed like Randy came out with earlier that also has storage under it would be fantastic. In a room that would hold any size bed and still have space to walk around it, also awesome. The kitchen could be changed up a bit too, To allow so much more space needed in such small area's. I have idea's and I know they'll work. Really missing the We build it the way you want it theme at a price that people in this day and time can afford. Love ITH, best in the business today. • @GiraffePOV
      @GiraffePOV 8 месяцев назад +6

      I think it looks bigger because of the camera lense/setting. It's the same trick realtors use.

    • @GiraffePOV
      @GiraffePOV 8 месяцев назад +3

      The camera adds square feet.
      This is probably the most common videography and photography trick you’ll spot in real estate listings: Interior photos taken with a wide-angle lens can make a room look far larger than it really seems. That’s because the image from a wide angle lens is able to capture a larger field of vision than the human eye can see. A wider lens captures more of the room, making the whole space seem larger. The good news: It’s pretty easy to spot truly egregious examples in normal homes. When objects close to the lens look especially large - and distant objects appear abnormally small and far away - chances are the room you’re looking at will be way smaller in person than it appears on film.

    I am so loving this house! Regarding moving the windows: I would only want one window moved (the one on the opposite side of the wall that has the door). My reason is that, if the middle is used as the living room, it would have its own window. Then leaving the window in the bedroom, in the original position is useful because the bay-window does not open.

      Remember, this incredible, sale offering, is based on the efficiency of the assembly-line operation of production systems. That is to reduce cost and step up the process for ALL involved (customer and company, alike) who want this sweet deal!
      Efficiency, cost, and best utilization of workmen/women are huge considerations in offering the challenge of & to provide affordable & safe housing. Be cognizant of that.
      ITH is an evolving and growing housing phenomenon! All of them, from Randy & Amanda, administrative staff & support, and each employee of ITH, keep each individual customer in full focus.
      The ‘sale’ offering in its current form is awesome as it stands as basic housing

    *I suggest only moving one of the windows to the living room, that way if we section off the bedroom we can still have one window to open for airflow, seeing as the bay window doesn’t open… it’ll get hot in there otherwise.*
    ALSO if someone really wants closet space they can put blinds on the bay window and run a rod across that area to hang clothes… since a closet space is more important to some people than the window… I’d rather use the bay window area for something functional, like a closet/storage, rather than for some place to clutter with decorations and decor… but that’s just ME, because I know myself and I’ll have it full of chachkees in no time & that serves no purpose for me in a tiny space. We could even add doors on it and put shelves in that space. Maybe that’s an idea for future builds Randy, use that bump out space for a closet… just name it “the Aloha closet” after me if you do 😬😁🤷🏽‍♀️.

    The only think I have issue with is if I put my bed where the sofa is..I have 3 windows surrounding my bedroom area, I would have to have all blinds closed or curtains for privacy, so there goes all my light. I would rather have 2 windows on side walls moved further into the home, so they are more in the livingroom area closer to kitchen. . I suppose if you asked they could do it but it would be additional cost to change it.

      Many people have been saying that for many months. You are correct. Randy and Amanda know it isn't a bay window because they did a LIVE Q & A a few months ago for the Woody model. They read viewer's comment who said the same thing as you and they brushed it off and didn't care. Truth in advertising would be welcomed from them in my opinion. They should just say it is a big picture window framed out to "appear" like a bay window. They would still get people who would appreciate it. I would appreciate if they could be more accurate and precise in language. Randy is a carpenter so I would think he would know the definition of a Bay Window. Thanks for your comment.

      This is a $25,000 8'x 24' home which should last for 30 to 50 years. It is not meant to be a custom build, nor is the bay window an actual "issue" in terms of being "politically correct" from 99% of ITH customers. These homes are built on an assembly line for an affordable customer price. These homes exceed the standards in "structure" and in "certifications". Try to find "that" anywhere else in the US! Incredible Tiny Homes TN is "above and beyond" most any other Tiny Home builder in the US...Trust me. I really don't think you want to embarrass yourself anymore by nitpicking relative to their "Bay Window" reference. ITH is in the business for ALL the "Right" reasons! Thank you! @@GiraffePOV

    I dont like whatever the shelf is against the bay wimdow. This home would be cool if the shelf was taken out and the couch, bed or whatever you want there, be place closer to the window. So that you can have more space in the house. And you really cant put a shelf on that shelf, or stack anything to high there, because you would block the window.

I used those in my cabin when I remodeled. They brot the temp up to 55f wen there was snow, at that point the wood burner needed to be started. there was one every 100sq ft, 1450sq ft 1 story cabin on thermostat. not a BAY window, its a WINDOW SEAT.
