Even though I missed your videos, I'm glad you took a breather. It has to be hard to put your life out there and have people criticize your choices. Glad the van is back. Enjoy life!!! And always go for the croissant. Never, ever skip it!!
Reunited and it feels so good🎵🎼🎵Kudos to all the wee Knorpp-Souths for going a whole day without Mum and Dad👬👭🏃👏And huge kudos to Daniel and Elijah and Esther for stepping up, they're a real credit to you and are just such lovely teens👍🐑😀🙏
I love how respectful you are of everybody's feelings, the part where Megan talks about how stressful this has been for Mike, the paperwork needed to get the van to France. That was so thoughtful and kind.
BEST LIFE QUOTE EVER!!!!! "Your life is not a lazy River at a water park. You get to decide where you go and you get to make it happen! that's pretty dang cool" Putting it up in my classroom this year!!
So good to see the van make it home to you guys. And I'm saying home because home is indeed where the heart is and you guys are full of heart. Blessings to your family from Ohio❤️
I've never seen two people so happy! How hard it must have been for you without your wheels. Now you can all explore together. You have your Van and your favorite grocery store!
It takes a lot of work traveling in Europe, but it is soooo worth it. I live in Morocco, right across from Spain so we go to Europe all the time. Our family of three is hard to travel with, so I couldn't even imagine doing it with 9 kids! You guys are doing really good work. Later on in life all your kids will look back on their memories traveling. They will be very open minded and wise.
Mariana D. Couldn't agree more!! Some people judge it as a Muslim country, and ask if it's even safe. My response, "it's as safe as America" The people are lovely, and very welcoming. As an American here, lots of friends and family have visited and have been soooo surprised by the beauty and culture. We love it here!
Sherri at some point my family was helping a small village in the mountains and it is gorgeous! The people are lovely, and so traditional. Definitely one of my favorite parts!
I'm happy you got your van. I can feel your excitement about having your little island of normal back. When traveling it is important to have those areas of familiar to help ease the culture shock. For example, in China, Sam's Club has the same feeling for me that Costco had for you. It's like walking into "Little America". Familiar brands, familiar set up, familiar cart checking when you leave. Sometimes you just need that.
I can tell when ya'll saw those wheels you perked up. Home away from home was back! Love watching all of you so much! Keep those smiling faces. We are watching you from good ole USA and it will be here when u return!
I grew up reading an old Albert Payson Terhune book called "A Boy and His Dog". When I saw the smile on Mike's face when he got out of the van the first time I thought "A Man and his Van" - congrats, folks!!!
Yay! COSTCO! It's always nice to have a little piece of familiarity when you're feeling a little down from culture shock. I remember finding peanut butter when I was in Ireland and it really helped me feel better.
I'm so happy you get this piece of home back with you now! It will feel much more like your normal travel routine, I think, and will really help with acclimating to your new locations. Been thinking of you guys a bunch. Sending love. ❤️
You should have made the thumbnail picture from 5:40! LOL that was a classic moment seeing both of your heads tilted looking at the drawbridge. Y'all are so adorable. I'm glad you are feeling better and happier!
Missed you guys! I've been praying for you all, and I am so thankful to see you all feeling upbeat again. Having the van will make things so much easier! Blessings on the adventures ahead!
Nice to see you are reunited with your van. It looks so big there in France! Interesting about the love of bread and cheese...all the old books focus on that too. I cannot imagine being where there are castles everywhere! Thanks for taking us along!
Glad you guys have found a way to adjust to a hurdle. If it is any consolation - the process of feeling afloat and a bit out of sorts is really common, in fact if you didn't go through it you'd probably be seen as a little odd. God speed for the rest of the trip!
“Your life is not a lazy river at a water park.” One of the best things I’ve heard. I subscribed to your channel because I have a dream of adopting at least one child from China & traveling around the United States full time. It’s so cool to think that we have control over our lives the way that we do.
I loved your comments about the picnic tables and fresh food at the gas station and how hard it is to find fast food there. That's a great thing!! My 9-year-olds mind was blown that they have Costco in other countries (we're in Canada)- ha!
I was wondering if you could have packed some things in your van before shipping it, or would they not allow that? Things like camping gear, instruments, toys, etc.
Hi Knorpp's! I have been watching your adventures for 2 months now and trying to catch up on passed videos. Got the courage to comment...I just want you to know how much I have come to love your family! ♥️I am sad when your sad, I cry when you cry, and I am happy when your happy, so today I am so happy that everything is going better and your happy!😄 My homeschooled daughter teases me and says "Knorpp's posted a video" and I get all excited, and she says "not really, I just like seeing how excited you get!" I love you channel and can't wait for your adventures!
Furniture Polish is great for removing sticky stuff from labels and sellotape. Just give it a really good squirts, leave it a minute and rub the area with a cloth. Not a very soft cloth though
I'm a new follower of Knorpp family via You Tube, and I'm hooked on the family dynamic & what great parents Megan & Mike are to their kids. Now a day, it's so difficult to raise children properly when social media or technology pretty much controls our children. I've learnt a lot since watching these videos & been sharing my positive comment w: my FB friends and friends. As I parent, I need as much comfort and guidance for on other parents
Megan said: "Your life is not a lazy river at a water park. You get to decide where you go, and you get to make it happen. And that's pretty dang cool." Ah, I am so glad I re-watched this video. I needed to hear that today. You are full of wisdom, Megan; I love it! (Maybe you guys should put that saying on a t-shirt? I'd totally buy it, and I bet others would, too.) You are an inspiration, Knorpp family -- especially you, Megan. You're an influencer in the best sense of the word, influencing people to try to be their best selves and try things that otherwise might feel too scary to pursue.
You have a gorgeous singing voice! You should sing more often on the vlogs! :) Costco and a van, two things to make you feel more like home. Drones make such gorgeous videos, especially when used in all the places you will be visiting, including the amazing country side. They give an entirely different perspective and you can have the older kids do the footage as your hands are full taking care of the younger kids. I would be very tempted to get one if I were you. Good to see you feel happier. It's very difficult living in a foreign country. My family and I immigrated to the US when I was 10 years old and it was a great challenge for all of us. My 18 year old brother had the most difficult time and wanted to go back home, but we endured the long period of adjustment and eventually it got better. It helped a lot being around other Russian people, as that's where we are from, so it's understandably difficult for you to be surrounded by people you don't know and who don't speak English. With every change there is always an adjustment period.
so glad you guys are feeling better, I'm personally not religious but I think it's quite beautiful how your religion can lift your spirits in times when you're feeling low, looking forward to maybe seeing you come to the uk? Make sure you don't just limit yourself to London though, the countryside is just stunning here!! X
Loved watching you drive through the French villages as the day was waking up and when you came home. If it's not too much work, in future videos hope you are able to include some of the castles you see when driving along the way.🌳🏰🌳
I just have to say, that you and your family continue to impress me. You are living the life I would love to live. After the last video, the comments that some people left, left me feeling sickened at how people were treating you. I have never even met you. It is unlikely that I will. But I respect you and your family for doing what is best for your family no matter what other people are saying. When my daughter is no longer a minor, hopefully she and I will be able to travel and learn about the world like we have always wanted to do. She wants to serve a mission for our church, but then after that and in between school hopefully we will get a couple opportunities. I wish it could be now and constant travel while "homeschooling", but I am very thankful for all we do have and can do. Count your blessings! :)
I love how happy you all became at the sight of your van! But I guess it's because it's sorta like your home, the one thing that will always stay the same. And I can imagine when you travel so much it's nice to have something like that :) It's like the twelfth member of your family :D
Feeling good again! Got the van, went to Costco. I'm sure these couple touchstones relieved much of your "home sickness". Now off to the adventure again! :)
Hey I guess you won't be in France that much longer but they have a system for the tolls where you can buy this device hat you stick in your window which allows you to go through the t line and it automatically allows you through with out cash or having to stop, you just slow down a bit and then the barrier lifts. The sound you made at 12:44 reminded me so much of the Efteling in the Netherlands please if you ever come here go there (btw the atraction is named "Carnavalsfestival" if you want to look it up:)
Not related to this blog, but just watching the news about the hurricane and Texas and seem to remember you having family there,it must be a very worrying time for you all and I hope and pray they are all safe.....thoughts are with you....xx
We drove from Northern Spain to the Netherlands friday and seeing those clips from the Periferique gave me nightmares :p It ook us hours to get passed Paris and it is honestly the most stressfull highway I have ever driven on! Glad everything went ok with the van and enjoy exploring Europe in it!
Croissant!!! ( Said in a hangry french accent ) 😍😂 so glad guys are feeling better , you looked so sad last video. I prayed for peace for you. Glad you guys got your van back and you talked to Stacey jean, she is definetly a travel expert. Love your rendition of that song! Costco is a nice treat!!! Love you guys! Keep looking up! Things will keep getting better 💕
If you guys go to Ireland, you should take the kids on the coast near Le Havre before you do, you can go to Aromanche and see the different war beaches from D day or go to Etretat and see the beautiful cliffs but also the bunkers from the war. I've grown up in Le Havre, it was fun to see you mention it...
Also Le Havre is celebrating its 500 years this year and there are tons of celebrations such as the giants walking in town (type Le Havre royal deluxe on google you will see! it's incredible). The city was completely rebuilt after WW2 because the Brits have bombed it to get the germans, it is now part of the UNESCO list because of the city center. It is also fairly English speak friendly because of all the Brits crossing there
So glad your got your van back! Keep those videos coming! I get so excited when I see your new videos! P.S. Being a European- trained Pastry Chef, its always good to just say Croissant the regular way! Thank you Meghan for keeping/supporting those local bakeries near your village vs. frozen, processed type at Cosco!
"Le Ahvre" :-) fun to see you guys interacting as a couple ... and it is true that the stops on the autoroute have GREAT food choices. :-) bienvenue à mon pays adopté
Megan, I believe you about the gas station food! We found the same thing in Ireland. There are nice gas stations right off the interstate with some pretty impressive food!

Let the adventures begin!!
So good to see the van make it home to you guys. And I'm saying home because home is indeed where the heart is and you guys are full of heart. Blessings to your family from Ohio❤️
I am so happy that y'all got your van back. I could see the stress melt away when y'all saw the van.

Been to Morocco, most amazing place ever. I tell everyone to go there. The variety of landscapes is really surprising and the culture is so beautiful
Aliyah Schwartz. Morocco is beautiful. Drove over the mountains.

Yay! COSTCO! It's always nice to have a little piece of familiarity when you're feeling a little down from culture shock. I remember finding peanut butter when I was in Ireland and it really helped me feel better.
Loved the singing about Costco. Your voice is amazing
So so happy to see you both looking more cheerful, and that you've reunited with the 12th family member! Safe travels x
That look of joy and relief when Mike hopped out of the van said it all!
Glad you are feeling better. Having the van will definitely make things easier

Missed you guys! I've been praying for you all, and I am so thankful to see you all feeling upbeat again. Having the van will make things so much easier! Blessings on the adventures ahead!
Now I want a croissant! Lol! I'm so glad that you got your van back. I know you are too!
I'm so happy you guys have your van! I had a huge smile on my face when you got it.

I watch many other youtubers but the only time I get excited is when I see your name in my notifications! I love taking this trip with you❤️👍
Congratiolations guys. With the Vvan iT feels much more comfortabel. I missed you these days. Take your time for each step. Good luck.
Driving down those picturesque lanes in the rain, looked like bliss 💖
Aww! So good to see you guys so happy! I was smiling right along side of you. 😃

nothing like a good ole Costco trip, your van AND oils ❤❤❤❤❤
So happy to see them so happy when they found Costco! Now they have something that's big and familiar with them in France too!
Megan, what a lovely singing voice you have! Do more!
So glad to see u smile the van cheered you up
+Glen Rosenberg - yes, it did!
So happy to see your smiles continued prayer
The gas station reminds me of truck stops here in the USA. I'll remind you 1 more time I'm adoptable, potty trained and can cook. Love from Nana

Yeah! you finally got your van back Awesome.
Thank you for coming back I was missing you guys .
Such a huge adventure to get that many people adjusted in an entirely different continent. I can't imagine waiting that long for my vehicle to arrive!
As a belgian, it s really cool to see you "alive" , fired up again! (Pardon my english). Keep going , Knorps! :-)
Did you notice Knorpps you are 'twinning it' with your clothes ? 👍🏼👍🏼😂😂🤣🤣😆😆
I was worried about you guys after your last videos. I'm glad that you guys seem to be getting back to yourselves.
I could watch your videos for the music alone lol. Always great music!
I know, right??!!... Me too!
So glad you guys have your van back! Must have been a long day for you both.
So happy when I saw the notification for this video. It's been too long. I loved the song about Costco.
I love how happy you all became at the sight of your van! But I guess it's because it's sorta like your home, the one thing that will always stay the same. And I can imagine when you travel so much it's nice to have something like that :) It's like the twelfth member of your family :D
Yay! I am so happy for you guys. You can travel together once again!!!!
Its called sanef tolling and can be used in lots of European countries.
Like an EZ Pass here in Texas!
marthaf we have that called sun pass in Florida
Also like Sunpass here in Florida. The Sunpass is a sticker under my rear view mirror .
They are called transponders and most toll companies have a option for this option of payments.
very cool to see the van back we all miss it to nice to see you all
Awesome!! We are so happy for you. Enjoy!
My friend & her hubby who have been to Paris & France 5 times have not had problems with people being rude. This was the same experience for me but we tried to always greet people and be polite. My one caution would be the gypsies. Please ask your hosts to explain how to handle them. i.e. don't let them put any jewelry on your wrists.
England has those same types of gas stations... it's fantastic!
OMG I DIDN'T FINISH THE VIDEO BEFORE I just said to my husband maybe they can find a Costco with the van. You guys looked so HAPPY!
Welcome back, I was worried about you after all that talk about changes and reassessing everything.
I'm so glad you're all reunited now! Don't you feel like when you travel there's this honey moon period? I think you just might be over that and reality is setting in. You're still great to watch. Thanks for being patient with us and our comments. :)
I miss you guys!!! It's good to see you back!
Great video! Really nice to see the van back.
Thats funny in the end. - "Hi look whats outside"..... and the table clears faster than you can blink.....hahahaha
Megan, Yes! "Not a lazy river"👏 That IS pretty dang cool! 😃

You're making me miss France so much! I was there for a week with my aunt and uncle. Want to go back badly
Megan, I believe you about the gas station food! We found the same thing in Ireland. There are nice gas stations right off the interstate with some pretty impressive food!
