Mt. St. Michel is something gorgeous!!! I lived in Paris with my oarents when I was a teenager, and my mother had to make me go, because in my little teenager's mind, I had no interest in going..... i am so glad I saw that gorgeous sight. There were almost no tourists then, I am 72 now, and that was maaaany years ago. Fantastic experience!!
I actually traveled through Europe with my family for two and a half months when I was 8 years old. My brother was 6 and my sister turned two in Florence. Seeing your children experience new places and different languages brings back vivid memories of one of the lovliest experiences our family had together. Thank you!

Honestly you guys inspire me to do so much more travelling with my family! We've got five kids and I think for a while I just put off major travelling until the kids were older (honestly the thought of taking five kids aged 4 to 12 anywhere outside of Queens has always brought me so much anxiety) but seeing how you guys handle it with 9 I'm so much more inclined to give it a try! I want my kids to have as many experiences as possible and I don't want my own fear to hold them back. So thanks so much guys from the bottom of my heart! Also Eve melts my heart so so much I could honestly just watch her alllll day haha

I remember my day at Mont St Michel! It was like stepping back in time...I didn't get to see the cemetery though, but did make it up the 400+ steps to the Abbey, walked the ramparts and grabbed some lunch at one of the shops. It was magical!! Thanks for taking me back with you!
When you go to the UK, go to Cornwall and visit the St Michaels Mount there. If you get there when the tide is out you can walk to the castle...when tide comes in you have to catch boat. It is absolutely amazing. Tintagel Castle is also nearby which is one of the claimed locations of King Arthurs court ..... many other awesome locations in Cornwall.

Mont St. Michel has been on my bucket list since I was 15 (42 years!) Last year we finally got there and it was everything I dreamed it would be! Probably my favorite place in France. I felt like I was on a movie set for a fairy tale. So glad you all got to see it, too!

Mont Saint Michel is AMAZING!! One of my favorite places. I was there with my aunt and uncle in May.
