I love how they portrayed Sophia as totally capable of making new friends quickly & able to take a weekend vacation with them. 🏖️ With Sophia’s personality & wit, I couldn’t believe anything less of her.
I love all of the episodes of our girls! 💞💞 Whenever I'm feeling down or depressed, all I need to do, is watch a couple of episodes to get me smiling again! ❤️❤️
this episode is amazing. the Dorothy slander, by Blanche & Rose. Rose: 'you're dumping your own mother?' Dorothy: 'faster than CBS, dumped Jimmy the greek.' Rose's occasional clapback: 'everybody on the committee is female, who are gonna sleep with?' 😂🤣
I've always enjoyed when Dorothy responds to insults with a self-deprecating insult-topper. Her sarcasm is piercing and she pulls it off expertly and hilariously.
The Giorgio Armani joke refers to Topo Gigio, a famous Italian mouse puppet who made regular appearances on the Ed Sullivan Show. A brilliant, yet very obscure joke that only a few will get. CHEERS! 🥰
I wish this episode ended with Dorothy running after Raymond. I mean, come on, Sofia no longer needed Dorothy's constant companionship, and Raymond JUST left the house, Dorothy could have caught up to him! Argh... that was such a lame ending to that romance, but oh well.
It was too bad Dorothy lost a good guy for nothing when she could have gone. I liked Rose here tho she must have had her “smart” juice cause she was doing pretty good…the pancakes sounded good, she knew about fashion, had good comebacks at Blanche but then came the crow story 😂 funny but still a “Rose” moment 😆
Sorry, but Dorothy was the dumb one in this episode. She totally mishandled this dating situation with Raymond.🙄 Don't get me wrong, I understand her wanting to support her mom, but Sophia would have been quite fine for a weekend while Dorothy and Raymond went to The Bahamas -- after all, Blanche and Rose would be there with Sophia. Added to that, Sophia is always nagging Dorothy about being single and not dating enough, and here Dorothy messes it up with a good guy - makes no sense. Dorothy gave up Raymond and, in the end, Sophia leaves her to go on her own trip, saying she has her own life to live. That's right! 😀
You should also react to “Hot in Cleveland” show. It stared Betty White. It’s hilarious. It’s similar yet different to Golden Girls. I watched it when it was on air. I loved it and I still watch it on occasion.
The chain or the pearls roasting of Dorothy is my favourite scene. I laugh so hard. Priceless.
😂💛

Also, a hoodie with "Sonya Klingenhoffer" with pigtails on the "O" sounds adorable and fun! :D
Don't forget the two crows!

I like those obscure references. Thank you.
Dorothy usually makes smart decisions, but considering all the pros and cons, this wasn't one of them. lol
I hate that Dorothy lost her relationship because of a feeling of guilt and obligation to be there for her Mum

Agreed it was a little frustrating to watch tbh

I've already seen it! One of my faves!
