This is brilliant - but Dame Edna's appearance on the Jay Leno show with Billie Jean King - playing the Dame Judi role, Elton John as Sharon Osbourne and Jay as Mr Parkinson is arguably even more hilarious. It is on here too - Billie Jean couldn't stop laughing all the way through!

Parkinson just let Edna rip and shook with genuine laughter all the way through and Judy and Sharon were appreciative sports who enjoyed every second of it. ‘Legend’ is an over used word but in the case of Barry Humphries/Dame Edna Everage it is 100% appropriate.

It’s the interplay with Judy and Sharon I particularly enjoyed with the other clip but both are vintage Edna. I keep coming back to view this. BH was on fire here, but he was always so amazingly consistent. What a genius. What a loss. I was incredibly sad when he passed, and I'm forever indebted.

So unfair that an innocuous fall and the subsequent infection took him from us but he was so loved by many including the King who called him directly only hours before he passed….there won’t be another like him ❤

Absolutely sublime!! A wee bit of scripting to maintain momentum but that didnt interfere with the perfect humour delivered by all four players but esp Dame Edna and Parkie. Glorious!!!

Judy couldn’t get further away in her seat and then the little sorority where she copied sharon putting feet up - who knew she was that shy - it’s actually very sweet which is probably why i like her so much

Legendary. Possibly the best chat show appearance ever.
We will never see his like again.

Absolutely fabulous she has me in stitches all the way. The only man that does that. Yes indeed this is how it's done. RIP dame Edna. Thanks for the laughs.

There's an artist who is always 2-3 steps ahead. As himself he's great too actually which is rare. On LIVE TV he/she have this air of danger but never over-steps the mark.

Pretty sure that's what he said to me...

This is the way chat shows should be done. The guests kicking of their shoes, getting comfortable and going with the flow!
