I believe the key is they all went at the same time, none of them hesitated.
Ppl have to understand these guys risked their lives for meaningless things. They were ambushed and should have complied. Others have not complied and got their group killed. They were lucky and it was very a stupid move. Ppl see that it worked out for them so they think they did the right thing but that's not how life works.

I have to amend what John is saying about the primary defender. He timed his rush perfectly. He waited for the rifleman to step behind the guy in the blue hoody and used the guy in blue as a shield, shoving him back into the rifleman. This acted as sort of a bottleneck and allowed the other two to swarm the rifleman, pin his weapon and subdue him long enough to disarm him.

Other factor is their interpersonal dynamics. The farthest guy may be the leader of the group in a way where he knows the other two are less likely to initiate an action like this but he can count on them to commit the moment he does. If thats the case which in my opinion most trios of close friends or even small groups in LE or military will have one person that usually takes the lead, the third guy would have been focused on finding an opening to initiate from the second these guys appeared as a threat the pressure he felt must have been intense

I play poker with my buddies in my garage on the weekends all the time except I have a security system set up just for this scenario. At 10PM I open the garage door and we start playing. I turn on my security system that has a perimeter detection grid so when someone from the streets comes on my property it activates a 85 decibel loud alarm and it also triggers my garage door to close automatically. No robbery attempts so far and its been 3 years since I installed it. Stay Frosty

Had 3 guys come in my mechanic shop was there late i was at my desk and have m&p in a spot on my desk they wanted to rob me of tools and cash didn't work out well didn't have to shoot but they were face down in parking lot for 30 min before law enforcement showed up .

The counter- punching thru the x was the kid getting up on his go and the table pushes into bg and gets him off balance takes awkward step and drives 2nd bg (rifle) into a back stop that throws him off balance at the same time. Both were knocked off balance. looks like 1v1 wasn’t knocked down to the ground but gave time for defender to engage effectively. Love this. This was a great example of winning on “time to go!” Multiple attackers. 💯

My buddy has a house on a very busy street. As a rule, he always keeps the garage door either 100 % closed or if he has to keep it open, it’s always only partially open. This gives him a tactical advantage. No one driving or walking by his house can see what’s inside his garage while he can see them.

Keep up the excellent work I try to watch every single one of your videos I'm nearing retirement and in a relatively safe place but I'm going to get a pistol for concealed carry and make sure and get plenty of training so that I am well versed in all the things that you say The safety loading on the unloading And how to handle it and also how to draw it quickly and how to make sure that it is quite well concealed. I appreciate everything that you do. I've also gotten a lot of safety information from your tips after the fact analyzing what was done that was correct and what could be improved and what was probably not a great idea is so valuable just to be able to make sure that I have the right mindset to own a defensive firearm.

I’m always chilling in my garage, I have mirrors set up and the motion sensor for my lights reaches far when cars drive by so I got some sensors to let me know if movement especially later at night, I do have a couple of small weapons around me but only a BB air pump gun and that’s probably not the safest but it’s better than nothing. Stay aware of your surroundings and options
