You could just buy a used prophet rev2 for not much more than 2 of these. That does bi timbral. One of these is a cheap polysynth but 2 doesn't really make financial sense.

@@uv77mc85 the cheapest I have seen 8 voice rev 2 desktops for is $1350 with a couple hundred more for 16 voice. For me personally a big draw would be having the settings for both layers (would have to be a "live" patch not just recalled) right there on the knobs in front of you. IMHO that is what could make the Super Gemini such a compelling synth among other things.

@@Bernd_Bruening I personally recognise it on every single synth from Behringer. I really can’t say what is that determines it. On the Behringer synths it feels like it doesn’t matter what you do, the tone has always the same “flavor” in the end , which is some kind of buzzy liquidity (don’t know how else to describe it ) .
I have experienced the same with the prophet rev2 in comparison to the 6 and the 5. Rev2 keeps a quite uncharacteristic tone , doesn’t matter what you do .
With the prophet 5 for example , simply by testing presets you feel like each preset is like a sweet spot of the instrument . So like very many sweet spots ,not the same with Behringer for me.

Please may I ask you if your one came with a wall wart (psu integrated into the plug) or is it a laptop style “brick” with a dc wire going from brick to synth and a detachable mains lead going to mains wall socket? If it’s the latter, I can simply replace the standard mains lead with a UK one, but if it’s a wall wart, I’ll be stuck with a wobbly push-on adaptor, which I don’t want. I bought the synth from Thomann and received it yesterday. I haven't been a member of the beta test team and didnt work on any patches beforehand. I quickly went through the factory bank and decided to make a few custom sounds for my video. They won't be included.

Stereo effects will fix that - or direct and effect panned separately. Personally I only have one or two stereo instruments in any mix.

Great video and great playing. did you record this through speakers? Or daw? because what I’m hearing through my car stereo is the synth sounds very thin which im Hoping is not the case but what do I really expect for $400? Thank you

Ja, der synth reagiert nicht nur auf aftertouch, sondern kann auch polyphonen aftertouch verarbeiten !!!
