@@project-95 To be honest I now don't have the ideas or motivation to really make use of a vintage synth. I got a JX3P but haven't got any ideas out of it so won't be getting another vintage after selling the JX3P. The Arturia VST will probably be the go-to.
My first polysynth. Limited in parameters, but great sound. The resonant filter, which self-oscillates at maximum, is key. The lack of filter resonant self-oscillation on JP8, JP6, Super Jupiter, and even OB8 is a shame.
This is a massive synth, people were discussing it on a live stream today, and some thought it lost the sweet spot due to resonance, others loved the sound. Either way, great timing as we can now hear it for ourselves!!!
@@richardfarabaugh7604 oh yeah. It’s incredible. Compared to the original I had side by side with it prior to selling the vintage keyboard, the only audible difference was the scratchy pots and chorus 1+2 combined sounds. I never cared for the 2 choruses stacked anyhow
WOW!!! I never realized just how awesome the Juno is. Every single one of these “sweet spots” are incredible sounding. Roland sure created an winner with this one. I have to wonder if their modern digital versions are just as good?
Got a Jupiter 50 and does a fair bit of classic Juno & Jupiter sounds. In tandem with KingKorg (VA with MG, OB,P5, MS20,303 filter emulations) is a really nice set up. On top a TR-8s running CR-78 and back to the 80's it is 😅 TR-8s is clocking KingKorg for arp's.
Best showcase I've seen on RUclips for this gem. I look forward to owning one by next year. Any recommendations or advice for someone actively looking for one? Thank you for sharing!
Thank you. For studio purpose the Juno 6 is highly recommended. Exactly the same sound as the Juno 60 except not being able to store patches. Tubbutec midi is great.
Beautifully played. Has your Juno 60 been serviced? It sounds completely new. What echo did you use? I bought my Juno new in 1982. I still love it, but I haven't played it in a long time. Your playing stimulates me to start again. Which country are you from? I live in the Netherlands. Sincerely, Arjan
That's why I keep my Juno 6. Do you think the UB xa Behringer is to be complementary to my Juno 6 ?.... My answer is actually, Yes, listening your last videos, about it, comparing what you play with this Juno 60 too, wich is my playground also. Create very specifics harmonic keyboards for very long sounds that don't need polyphony, but harmonics going complex. So the Juno, and UB xa are two analog poly that I want to use as complementary, on different registries . Here you demonstrates one thing I love on the Juno, high frequency and low notes pretty shaped, that most people don't explore in most videos. I still study your play garden on the UB B in those high and low notes variations. 👍👌
@@Bernd_Bruening You convinced me with the last UB-Xa presets, using the same material for recording I mean. This is a good comparison point. Yes, this is not the same technology, and the Juno have some specificities I can Use for themselves, as a dialogue.
Another great sound demo. 🎧👍🏼 Just to be sure, there are external effects (reverb, delay) involved right? Great channel you have here, just found it. You got yourself another follower.😊

Best Juno 60 demo on YT. These are THE sounds I want to hear from this synth.
First synth I ever heard in the 80s
A kid in school had one
So I took piano lessons
Been in love with synths ever since
Literally the only synth I lust after. There are other very good ones of course, but this is just....divine.
Grab a cheaper Juno-6, patch memory shouldn't be a deal-breaker unless you're gigging with it. These things will only increase in price so win win.

Spent many lonely nights with the 60 ... awesome synth
Best J60 demo on all of RUclips! 👏👏👏👏
Stunning synth. New owner of a Juno-6 and couldn't be happier. Built like a tank. How things have changed.
this synth is GOD
It is. My number 1.

I feel deep humility that I own one...❤
Me too
it still sounds great
Beautiful sounding synth. Gets really close to emulating my system 8!
You mean vice versa, the System emulates the Juno 60
@@Bernd_Bruening I know I’m screwing around. I used to have one of these. Awesome demo
Does the System 8 really do an adequate job of emulating the Juno?

They filter of this machine sounds really good.
Incredible sounds!!!
I miss my 60 at times
As always Bernd ! I love your Passion for this Vintage Treasures ! Great Vid !
Thanks a lot !
Whole fuckin thing is a sweet spot!!!🤩
A ROLAND synthesizer as we like them.
And this chorus very specific to the brand...❤
Excellent demonstration as usual. :)

Not at all... the juno 60 sounds much lusher and warmer than the juno x.
yes my king I’m lucky enough to have a juno 60 as well but you make sound so much better!
Best sound ❤
Brilliant!
Guitar Player here: in case anyone is interested, TC Electronic makes am effect pedal called June 60 which is the chorus from the Juno 60.
Sehr nice!!! 😇
Danke 😊
Nice.
most synths can be made to sound bad, but the juno doesn't have that feature. its only capable of sounding all good, all the time.
I can make anything sound bad.

Thank you. The Juno 60 hasn't been serviced, it's completely stock. I've used a delay and a reverb plugin from my DAW. Im from Germany.

Can the DeepMind do this too just as well?
I don't know since I haven't got a Deepmind. It has a similar architecture, but as far as I know it is not a 1:1 clone of the Juno.
