Absolutely stunning! I’m 63 YO now. Played bass since i was 20 but started guitar playing a few weeks ago. (Bought a PRS) IT’s such a different game. Not more difficult, just different. How i would love to learn play this piece….

Whoooweeeee Musky ! well that was well and truly nailed to the wall in every respect. The ultimate R B Strat tone.....or any Strat for that matter Absolutely loved Ritchie's unmistakable staccato playing style back then. He changed a lot after the Burn album.....but he changed out with a helluva bang !. Brilliantly done and truly a pleasure to watch......might be able to sit down and learn Burn watching this...at least my creaky version!

The amazing thing about these covers and this one in particular is how they are so perfect. Imagine though just sitting down with a guitar to create this thats where the real genius of Ritchie Blackmore was it blows your mind to think of how many people this has touched and the legacy Blackmore will create.

Thank you. It's actually a stock 250k vol and the tones are disconnected since I rarely use them.

Two things impress me about your Blackmore covers. 1- as with Ritchie, we can hear all the notes clearly. 2- we also hear clearly all the silences between each note, and it's certainly the more difficult to do with any Blackmore cover. Realy great job !

Thank you, happy to hear that. That '72 plexi with a boost works great for Blackmore stuff. The strings may well have been a bit old, cant remember exactly. Sometimes older strings can work, if they're not too old.

Well i could play all the notes one at a time given about 6 months :) Wow amazing guitarist. Also shows what a maestro Ritchie is….some of those licks would not be out of place in a Mozart work.
