Very professional, thanks.
Very informative! I hope they service my area.
Thank you Ryan Garcia
Thank you. Very informative video
👍
Awesome video. Thank you. After fumigation and aeration, during inspection, why does the inspector open drawers and cupboards.. shouldn’t they already be open prior to fumigation?? That part has me wondering.
Also you mentioned that the presence of roaches and bed bugs will continue after fumigation; what about the presence of spiders, silverfish, pincher bugs or springs tails? Are those likely to be eradicated by the termite fumigation?
After the fumigation, the licensee will open some drawers and cupboards if they weren't already left open to test the air pockets in the enclosed spaces. This is a way to ensure that the fumigant was properly aerated even in the most concentrated air pockets in a home.
Silverfish and pincher bugs are some of the easiest pests to control. The fumigation is likely to eradicate them with no additional treatment necessary. Keep in mind, however, that the fumigant has no residual properties meaning it will not prevent a future resurgence if they are reintroduced into the home sometime in the future. Spiders tend to be more difficult to control and usually require targeted treatment. Some species of spiders may survive a fumigation.
Glad you found the video useful. Thanks for watching!
Accurate Termite and Pest Control Thanks for a reply that is just as helpful and informative as your video!
Accurate Termite and Pest Control, would Daddy Long Leg spiders survive? My autistic son considers them his best friends. So, please, I really need to know if they will survive. Thank you
Hi how much is fumigation for 1500 sqft thx
Do you have instructions in Spanish I can't find anything in Spanish to help me with pre fumigation procedures in Spanish ?
Hi, Richard. We do have a Spanish document with bagging instructions for fumigation. Please call our office so we can get your email address. 949.837.6483
fumigate with phosphine?
16:40 if the mattresses are impermeable why would you need to test the air "inside or ventilate them? Hmm
Impermeable referring to liquid-proof material. A mattress could potentially be made of water-proof material and yet be stitched like a normal mattress. Like baby mattresses, for example. Out of an abundance of caution, we would have to assume that fumigant could have potentially entered through the seams and stitching of the mattress.
Why are they still making houses out of termite food [untreated wood]?
Using wood is the cheapest way to treat a house. Some treatments help deter termites for a time, but eventually, treatments wear off and erode making the wood palatable to termites again.
I told my termites to leave, but they just gave me the finger.
I'm I allowed to stay in a rv on property if i have nowhere to go
It's alright with us as long as it is allowed by either city or HOA officials depending on where you are planning on parking and staying in your RV. Different municipalities or HOAs may have regulations against overnight stays in vehicles on their roads.
@@Accuratetermitecontrol dont have Hoa
I would just be sure it's approved with whatever entity has authority over the street you're planning to stay the night in to avoid any fines or penalties from them.
Does this fumigation kills mold??
No, it does not.
Could cardboard fully packed with different items and sealed get pockets of the gas trapped in the boxes? Also, a closet very packed with clothes etc, may get pockets of gas as well.? Thank you for the reply.
Cardboard or linens are very unlikely to hold pockets of gas, but you should err on the side of caution. That is why most fumigators will probably open boxes slightly to let airflow in and out, and reduce the size of cluttered items whenever possible.
@@Accuratetermitecontrol Good information . Thank you.
One more question if you don't mind. The boxes are sealed and on top of each other . Also they are so many that I don't think neither the tech or myself can open them
even slightly one by one .
Could poking small holes be a good alternative instead? Thank you in advance.
@@bohemianc.t.4132 That could help a little with airflow, but a licensee will still want to see the majority of a room to ensure no small animals are inadvertently trapped under a tent.
@@Accuratetermitecontrol I appreciate your reply.
What should you do if you have rodents.
Give us a call, we can help. You may be asking what you should do if you have rodents and are about to fumigate; in that case, you should still let your service provider know (if that is not already us). Technically the fumigant is not labeled for rodent extermination. Depending on the extent of the issue, it may be something that can be dealt with quickly without disrupting the fumigation.
Are you guys vacuuming dead insects after fumigation? Will there be visible dead insects after fumigation? What areas of the house should and should not be cleaned? Will you guys water the plants before/during fumigation?
Hi, Valentin.
Our company does not provide cleaning or janitorial services. It is not uncommon to find dead spiders, roaches, or silverfish following a fumigation though that is infrequent in a building with steady pest control maintenance history in place prior to the fumigation. It is not likely to see dead termites as they will die in the wood members they are infesting--they will die inside the studs in between your walls. There is no additional cleaning or sanitation that is necessary after a fumigation other than your normal house-keeping cleaning routine.
