    You guys are the greatest, since you've grown all this stuff professionally AND done it all by hand, you offer the BEST POSSIBLE ADVICE on hand growing. I've bought a lot of seeds and supplies from you guys, and have followed your simple instructions to save time, and get unfailingly great crops every time!

    Thanks for spreading the word. I had mono once and gargled with wheat grass. Within a few days I had more energy than I had had in years! I have wanted to grow this ever since. I now have the courage to do so. My husband says that I can grow it in blended newspaper. I just haven't done it yet.

    Great instruction! However it is important to note that if you don't grow the wheat grass without nutrient; your wheat grass will not have enough potency...it just looks good. If you are using this for wheat grass juice you have to use good soil and organic fertilizer as the base! Thank you!

    I had a half gallon of 100% barely grass juice in the freezer for over a year.My son had a bad case of atheletes foot tried many different drugs with no relief.So I get an idea, I took the barley grass juice out of freezer thawed it had him soak his feet in it for thirty minutes for three nights storing in the freezer in between uses.The infected parts of his feet turned white after soaking,you could actually see where the fungus was well in short he was cured.if you have a skin problem try it.

    This is the best vid I've seen on growing wheat grass. Where do you get the baby blanket?
    Now I'm inspired to try to get a 6" crop. My first (and only) attempt yielded 4", and a cafeteria tray sized plot gave 2 oz juice. Not worth the effort.
    On to my second try....

    @ronbobathon As a prior farmer yes. They do pull nutrients. As soon as you see the roots they are capable of pulling nutrients. I was raised around only one medium, dirt. Its what's worked for the last few million years. I don't get starving them of light for the first few days. Other than to slow down growth or saturate the blades. Take it from me you are doing it right. The proof is in the color.

  • @PurpleHaze2k9

    Yeah, I would like to know too, also how do you harvest it? Do you cut it all the way down or is it able to keep growing if you dont wholly destroy it?

    I HAD psoriasis too but used this stuff from India called 777 oil after a shower to loosen off the dead skin then applied the 777 oil and laid in the sun for about 20-30 minutes. After about a week the lesions were definitively disappearing. Went from red to pink to white and then softening all the time. I mean it worked for me. So I promised to 'pay it forward' meaning the word. After the lesion disappears there is a mark for about 2 years (but the skin in healed) then that eventually goes away

    If you're using a baby blanket aren't you missing out on nutrients from soil? I would like to grow without soil, but would I not need to add a liquid solution to the water to make up for what is lost from a good organic soil?

  • @MrSpiky47
    @MrSpiky47 12 лет назад

    @popoymotmot it's recommend getting 2 harvests. further tries will have slightly different shades and it probably won't be as tender, also i don't think you will get the same volume as the 1st time. so i'm guessing you will have exhausted the seeds and nutrient levels will have dropped drastically.

    Many seeds (most seeds) require a period of darkness in order to germinate. It simulates the seeds being planted underground and growing to emerge from the soil surface.

    I had a wheatgrass growing experience and i got some mold both growing on soil and baby blanket.(very frustrating after waiting 2 weeks!!) Any tips anyone as far as how many times do you water it so moisture doesn't accumulate after the sprouts are on the mediums in order to avoid mold? I dont know if its the weather in Fl that might not be helping...
    thanks! all the help is appreciated!
