    I'm new to engraving, I've learned a lot from your channel and all the different possibilities. I like this idea, however I wish it had a lid. I'm not sure if you're still checking comments for this video, if so thanks for all your input.

      That box generator can add a lid for sure. Thank you for your comments

    Those with coral may be able to import the file into coral.
    Coral usually convert a lot of files .

    As usual...great video. I’m going to make an acrylic box to display my drone. I’m wondering if the finger joint is the way to go. Thanks for making these vids.

      I’ve done several acrylic boxes with finger joints and they work out pretty well. I would make the finger sizes much bigger than a wood box. Due your burn rate for acrylic it will be different than wood.

    Very good tutorial and picked up several tips. Really appreciate the effort you go to into explaining what to look for, i.e. rattle test and start from here function - as well as others. Quick question about the preview and burn function.
    Question if you can help me out. I noticed in other videos I watched the preview and burn only apply to those items in the workspace. But, on my version of LightBurn, the preview and burn functions want to burn everything - even vectors not on the workspace. There must be a setting somewhere I am missing. Do you know what I am doing that would allow me to only burn and preview what is on the workspace?

      make sure you have LightBurn closed then proceed. mine did the same thing. tried it after I closed LightBurn and it worked fine. Thanks for watching, I appreciate it!

    In your previous box building video you cut the holes first then cut the outside for each piece. Have you found that the order for cutting doesn't make a difference? Thanks

    • @computercreationz
      @computercreationz  3 года назад

      I always have the interior cut outs done first other wise when the main part of the box is cut out the piece can move and your box won’t go together well.

    I have an Epilog Edge Engraver/Cutter. Unfortunately, Lightburn does not support Epilog. Do you have Corel instructions for these box projects?

      Those are 3 d printed honeycombs pins I bought off of etsy. Just search for Thunder laser honey comb pins. They work great.
