    Had a difficult time seeing some of the things you did because they were off screen to the right. But learned a few things in this video. Thanks.

    This works great. I was asked to design a counter top display and this is exactly what I needed! Thank you so much for learnin me something today!

    You do not have to change units. You can just type mm after the number and LB will convert for you.

      Thanks. I knew you could enter expressions, like 27/2, but didn't know you could enter units for conversion.

    Thanks, but if you want to be more precise, this method will give you a gap from the laser beem,
    (in my laser there is 0,5mm, but if you offset both parts conture outside 0.2mm it will be perfect!

      Thanks. It's been awhile since I did this video. Since I use Lightburn I think I use the software's 'kerf offset' feature to accomplish what you're talking about.

    Great video! It helped a lot but like someone else said I had a hard time seeing what you did in the up right corner of the video since it's cut off. Also I'm having an issue when I try and dock the fingers and tool layer fingers to the square, Lightburn moves the piece all the way to the edge of the workspace, not the square. This recently just started happening so I'm not sure what changed from the last time I followed your tutorial. Have you (or anyone else) experienced this? And how do I fix it?

    i just watched about 4mins of this video and i love it the way you explain everything so clear and slowly perfect to learn.thank you very much for taking the time to create this video.i sub your channel.By the way in the description there is nothing written about any hotkeys you use.Maybe You forgot them to post here by this video.It would be great also to see the complete screen and not just a part of it.I see top part of your screen until the rotary sign and then 16 squere boxes down that's it.

    There are too many things you do off-screen and using hot keys without saying what you are doing! As a new user, it's not possible to follow you, and while I'm get the general idea can't follow your instructions. Very frustrating.

      Thanks for the input. I've had the laser off for over a year. Just fired it up again and will try to take your comments in to consideration for future videos.

    Hi! When do you adjust the kerf?

    • @WilcoxWorkshop
      @WilcoxWorkshop  Год назад

      Sorry for the delay. I use the Kerf Offset setting in the cut layer. Some folks build it into the design and don't turn ON Kerf Offset in the cut layer.

    Looks like you have a great way of making tabs, but you leave a lot of crucial info out of view in the video making it impossible to follow completely.
