Great explanation and even better when we saw the injectors leak!
Looks like #2 is leaking a little bit as well
@jtthecarguy when it comes to sludge BG EPR engine Flush will fix the problem which, is cheaper than a new engine unless there is scorn pistons and cylinder walls.
A good fuel kit has those adapters JT . They ain’t that expensive on Amazon. Or ICON kit is awesome
Good video bro.
A what was that ticking sound when you turned the key to pressurized the fuel line?
I noticed that a lot on those engines especially after shutting off the car it would make the same sound also.
Possibly the purge solenoid.
jt, what is the sensor located on left head, rear corner near the master cylinder (15 wrangler 3.6)
YOUR SHOP SHOUD HAVE A MANUFACTURERS TOOL THAT YOU CAN DO THAT I KNOW THIS FROM WORKING AT CDJR WHEN I WAS THE FIRST CERTIFIED TECH AT A NEW CDJR AND THEY HAD TO BUY ALL THE TOOLS FROM CHRYSLER IT IS PROBABLY ONE OF THE FIRST TOOLS THAT GROWS LEGS
If its anything like my CDJR dealer shop, that tool is long gone, broken, stolen or in someone’s toolbox. Much like every orher specialty tool.
Maaan I hate the dealerships for that. Even Toyota got missing tools lol. I wish management would have to lock and unlock the parts room.
I had a 2010 jeep compass with that engine which did fine my biggest complaint was the cv transmission did manage to get 156k before it took a crap I do all my own work but never had an issue with the engine
Could you have not looked at the data from the duty cycle to " see" the action?
The data will show them being off. Just cus the data says they are off or at 0% duty cycle, the faulty ones will still leak. Heck he even has them disconnected and they are leaking. Scan tool data isn’t always 100% correct
Still the first to hit the like button 🎉🎉🎉
Thanks for tuning in Tim
@OnlineMechanicTips
Always. Did you see that I have not been able to comment on the last few lives even worse I couldn't donate
Wouldn't you get a rich condition?
👍🏻🇦🇺
Is that a Jeep Grand Cherokee?
No, there's no 4 cyl Jeep Grand Cherokees out. This a Dodge Journey
