This video shows you how to install a new fuel injector on your 2003-2008 Toyota Corolla. Fuel injectors are computer controlled spray nozzles that deliver fuel to your engine in precisely controlled volumes. They are one of the keys to modern efficient and clean engines. If a fuel injector is dirty or failing, it can present symptoms such as rough idle, engine surges, rich or lean conditions, and check engine lights. Replacing a problematic fuel injector with an engineered to fit TRQ replacement part right away is essential to the health of your vehicle’s engine.
This process should be similar on the following vehicles:
2003 Toyota Corolla
2004 Toyota Corolla
2005 Toyota Corolla
2006 Toyota Corolla
2007 Toyota Corolla
2008 Toyota Corolla

Just saved yourself about $400-$500. This is a good video, very helpful.
Came here before helping my friend with her Matrix! Perfect. Such a good call about the brake cleaner! Thanks much!
Why do car dealerships charge $800 - $1200 for this job? I don't get it.
This is perfect timing to post this video, I literally just got my new injectors for my corolla today, about an hour ago
So informative ! My problem was the debris around the area that was getting between the O ring.
Very informative and hands on.
Two things:
--the cars with MAF sensor will not prime the fuel system until key is in start.
Taking out the starter relay from fuse box and turning key to start will prime the fuel rail
We should look on the joint between injector and fuel rail to check for leaks
-- 6:55 not a bad idea to spray carb cleaner at the injector to head seals with engine idling to check for the vacuum leaks, because some aftermarket parts are too loose and allow air leaks at this point leaning the mixture and causing higher than normal fuel trims.
Do i need to depressurize the fuel line first?
😢Very informative and well filmed video. Quite helpful. Thanks!
Thanks to your video I did it on my Matrix XR 05 awd whitout any help and it ends perfectly. Just for be clear I’m not a mechanic but I like do stuff on my own risk.
+Carlos Flores Thanks for watching our video! 1aau.to/m/Shop-TRQ
I have watched several videos and yours is the best.
Thank you so much a little tricky with the seal up but thanks a million!!!
I could say 500-1000
Another great job . Well done kid!
Wish I saw this video before. I definitely ruined my own injectors doing them the first time
Presente en clases desde Navojoa Sonora México Like 🎉
So nice video. But mi big concern is. You not need to disconnect the negative battery terminal. To do rhis process?
Very helpful video
Worked perfect tyank you so much 👌
Your storefront lists this part as incompatible with my 2003 Corolla CE. So I ordered a part was compatible (its green colored instead of blue like this one) and it came with no lower rubber seals. Im confused
Wow, that was exceptional. Great info, to the point with no wasted time!
Thanks!
I have a 2007 Corolla. A mouse chewed the wires on #4 injector and although I repaired the wires it is still throwing a code for #4 cylinder not firing.
Do you think it damaged the injector or the computer when the wires were shorted?
Thank you for this video
Great video, thx! I would think twice about spraying brake cleaner onto anything rubber... (Too aggressive chemically) Carb cleaner is a different story: these seals should be made to withstand petroleum distillates
great video!
Was that a good sound of the engine 🤔 because I have the same car in the uk and this sound is driving me crazy
Good job sir
Do you need to disconnect the fuel line into the fuel rail not just the bracket?
I think it's best to add how to depressurize the fuel line first. Like pull out the fuel pump relay or fuse and start the engine until it dies. I believe you should have done it otherwise the gasoline would be gushing out of the fuel rail.
Wait dont you have to release fuel pressure 1st?
Instead of carb cleaner, can you use mass air flow cleaner or electrical contact cleaner when installing the injectors and manifold?
Does this work with a 2006 Toyota Highlander 4 cylinder?
Do i need to take out the battery clip before changing that injector?
Fun fact, on the Toyota Echo they add a useless piece on the engine top that stops you from removing that hard steel line so you have to remove the entire top of the engine to replace a single fuel injector.
How many holes does the Toyotal Allion 2003 fuel injector has?
Will faulty fuel injectors cause the engine to not crank or start?
I replaced the fuel injectors on a camry 09, but now i have a hard start-up, and it starts up on the second or third key turn
But when i replaced them, i removed the fuel rail bar out of the engine fuel line
Do you thing thats is the problem and have air in the fuel line?
How we know we need to change the injectors ??
Will this be the same process on 02 Toyota rav4?
so no one's not gonna ask if u take out the fuel injector fuel is not gonna come out shooting
I think I messed up. I have a 2003 Toyota Avalon. I replaced the fuel injectors but now my car takes a little longer to start up. It’s takes a couple turns for it to turn over and start. Anyone have advice?
