Thought i recognized this story.
I had started getting a co-worker into 40k lore and stories.
After about a month he hit Vox's rendition of this story and he's been leery of another 40k story since.
Vox in the Void is great, I highly recommend!

I am soooooo glad I discovered this channel through the short Plague Marine video. My only criticism there was that it was too short. And here we have a full-length, amazingly produced audiodrama!

thanks again! The Plague Marine short, I was just filling al little time while I'm considering the next story. It takes me the best part of a month to create 5 mins of content... although I'm getting a little quicker at it now.

I stumbled into your channel, i love this version of yours. I'm a huge fan of Vox in the void work. But i always wonder what if i can visualize his audio story. Your channel solve it. I love the graphics as it showed the true horror of the story and the glory of the forge machine. I also love your voice over it added another layer of fear into the storytelling. Of all the 40k stories I've ever listened to or read, this one by far messed me up the most (maybe should stop listening to these before sleeping). Part of the whole setting is to be as grimdark as possible. Aliens will be creepy and evil, demons thoroughly so, it's to be expected, but this was horror from a place I had often heard about but was rarely ever introduced to. The descriptions of horror are far more impactful from a place where normal humans are expected to live, under their own devices and all according to normalcy. To Mr. Duxbury and WilBot, thank you for a beautiful rendition of one of the most haunting 40k writings I have ever discovered.

So I heard the Vox version and it's one of those tales that live in my memory but this is even more impressive. And harrowing. The greatest compliment i can give is that it feels on par with what Warrior Tier is putting out!
