For P6: My guess/stab in the dark is, they could have gone back to that international concept that P5 initially had, but actually doing it. So it could be the 2 protags are part of a high school exchange program and are now at each other's respective schools. Most likely it is an America-Japan exchange due to 1. diplomatic ties and 2. this would put the 2 protags 13 hours apart aka when it's day in Japan, it's night in America and vice versa. Tying in to the day-night comment. This would also make it so that one protag is a foreigner, from the Japanese perspective and the other, a native.
This would also explain the mutli-year release via DLC, as such a game would be ENORMOUS and just take too long market-wise to come out.

K and S may be referring to Kuroi and Shiroi (Japanese adjectives for the colors Black and White)

That might be the case. But on a side note as a name form, it probably would not have the i at the end, as using adjectives as names sounds weird.
Green means new beginnings and growth. It also signifies renewal and abundance. Alternatively, green can also represent envy or jealousy, and a lack of experience
White means innocence protection
Black means death
If it means these 3 things it prob means one has a new beginning while other is suffering from someone dying
White is the color of death in Japanese culture, but either way, you probably right that someone will die. Especially since every mainline Persona game so far has a body-count with at least 2 named dead.

I would be fine with a dual main character set up if one is female but if the only controllable female character can't be used in combat/dungeons then what the hell will she be doing...tea parties, decorating, cooking, etc. that sounds lame.

As the colorscheme for persona 6 was stated i want to say something that i found kinda funny.
I noticed that every block of tartarus has the colorscheme of a corresponding persona game now going from 1-6 and now that it was confirmed that persona 6 is going for black and white i really think that was an intentional thing?

Green also primary color. For light, the primary is red, blue and green.
The fun part, for light, red + green = yellow, while for paint, blue + yellow = green.

I would like to put forward a theory about the names of the characters with the letters "S" and "K".
Recently, I thought about it and decided to collect all the information from insiders that we know. I decided to see how the colors "black" and "white" will sound in Japanese, and... Bingo! In Japanese, "Black" will sound like "Kuro\黒" and "White" will sound like "Shiro\白".
Perhaps it was an obvious thing, but I was pleasantly surprised by this coincidence. If this news from insiders turns out to be true, then we think we know what our main characters can be called.

Yes, I totally agree with you! The name Kuro is more suitable for a male protagonist than a female one.
I would also like to reflect on the vague phrase "Exchange student". We don't know much about this and understand it, but what if our main characters are these exchange students, and they exchange schools with each other. Kuro will go to Shiro school and vice versa. Here you can use the idea of a semi-open world, which insiders assume.
Perhaps our main characters will be from different countries, which is very interesting.
It is unlikely that ATLUS will use the cliche of transferring to another school again due to bad circumstances.
All these are just my crazy assumptions, so if something seems strange and illogical to you, I am waiting for comments from everyone. I'm interested to know what people from the Persona fandom think about part 6 :^@@scottbowenkelly575

Regarding the DLC: why the hell are so many people complaining about a 30-hour-plus game mode costing $35? It's absolutely ridiculous. These same people will gladly buy smaller, shorter games for the full $60.
I would say that the two protagonist could be the same person at different time, like in day it`s FemMC, and in night its MC. Or FemMC could be Navi or something like that

Persona set in the 90s!
I wonder if P6 will be sort of like Yakuza where you switch between 2 different characters or parties that are both doing they're own thing. It could be really cool to see how, for example, one group does something major, which causes the other group some problems.
That would mean managing 2 schedules, may be a little much.
That would probably like triple the development time. I understand Persona fans are used to waiting a while for new games, and I do think it’s a good concept, but they’d have to go at it for a while.

I have mixed feelings about the persona 3 I understand the amount of extra work that would be required to add the FE:MC and it just doesn't make sense logistically to go back to an old project like this(FE: getting someone to make anime scenes for FE:MC that match the style of old animation). That being said the aigis while i feel the price is a little high i do wish i could buy it seperately for $15-20 that being said I do feel I will still get good value as $1 per hour of fun is a good deal in entertainment when I could pay much more for a movie.
I seriously wonder about the 2 MC idea and how that will work with social link if it is not the choice between 2 MC.
I’m outright just not getting it. Voting with my wallets and all. It’s funny cuz I was a huge supporter of getting the answer DLC from the 2nd reload was announced.
Unless they’re adding a massive amount of new content, I do not see a reason why I should be buying. I’ll either wait for a discount, see if I can do the subscription pass or see if a friend will buy it for me (so we can share both reload and DLC)
I never played the original or the answer; I got into Persona when Golden came out on PC, but I honestly don't think it sounds very overpriced. I've just about finished P3Reload now and it took me around 60 hours (Although there was definitely some afk time in there somewhere)
If The Answer has around 30 hours of content like they've said in this video that's certainly not bad value in my book.

I have some thoughts on Persona 6. First of all, I think the game will be a sort of return to form for the series, especially considering the massive departure that was Persona 5. My main belief of this stems from the content introduced in Royal. They brought back old Persona’s that hadn’t been seen since 2 and even embraced a more morally grey story which is heavily reminiscent to SMT. It seems like Persona team really wants Persona to go back to it’s roots, thematically speaking. This also makes me think that Persona 6 is going to contain a more morally grey story, as opposed to the clear villains of 3, 4, and 5. The black and white theme is clear evidence of this, as well as the green color scheme used. A lot of Persona fans might not know this but green, for awhile now, has been used to represent neutrality within the SMT series. SMT IV: Apocalypse being a prime example of this color scheme being used (Coincidentally, SMT IV also had a Black and White color scheme). It would make sense if Persona 6 followed this theme by telling a morally grey story, a story where it’s not easy to pick a side.
Also, I think Jose will play a significant role in 6. It was always strange to me how P5R introduced him and then basically explained nothing about who he was or where he came from and I highly doubt that they’ll just leave his character so open-ended like that. It’s easy to think that he’ll be a velvet room attendant but I don’t think that’s the case, since nobody from the velvet room seems to know about or even mention his existence. I do think he’s be related, in a way, because of his eyes but he won’t be directly involved in velvet room. My theory, as far-fetched as it is, is that Jose could be linked with Philemon possibly returning. Like I mentioned earlier, Persona Team seems interested in going back to the series’ roots especially considering that the P1 and P2 protagonists are getting some more attention. So what better way to signify that return than by reintroducing Philemon? If Jose isn’t a velvet room attendant, and I doubt that he’s a shadow or something like that, then he’s likely another servant of Philemon like everyone in the Velvet room. That’s just an idea anyways, either way I definitely think that Jose is going to play a role in Persona 6.
The dual protagonist could be a mechanic where one does one thing and the other one an other, While K handles like working a job or making stuff, S could do social links. Since doing other things ups social stats, that will force players to manage SL and other activities more carefully and even have SL exclusive to a protag. At the mid game of the current titles you are just like "okay this and this then this" without really thinking about social stats since they are most likely maxed at this point

I think the way they’re releasing episode Aigis is the best we could hope for. In an interview they stated episode Aigis wasn’t part of the original plan. They’re making it in response to fans wanting it. They already stated prior to release that P3R was a faithful remake of base Persona 3.
The alternative is they don’t release episode Aigis now. Instead they sell it with a bundle in 2 years for $70 again.
The thing is, it isn’t. So much of reload takes from portable and FES.
If they announce the answer DLC has way more content than FES, it might be worth it. Otherwise, I’ll keep my cash.

It really isn't. The fact they're adding a pay-wall so you can't buy the DLC separately and are forced to buy it through an expensive season pass is incredibly scummy. After SEGA made New Game+ in Infinite Wealth a DLC nothing else surprises me.

I'll be perfectly honest. Reload got me into persona. I play Persona 5 before, but only for about 4 hours. I just finished my first play through of persona 3 Reload. 91 hours. Now I'm working on persona 4 golden. The game got me into the series. And I purchased the others because of it.

What the hell does “being able to fly” mean for a persona game?
If it really is an open world, it could really mean literally what it says on the box. If the story is structured in a way where you can get to any point in the Persona world at any time, I could see it working.

I think when it comes to the expansion pass, I think having it seperate is fine…however I think it would have been best for those who got the collector’s edition to have access to the expansion pass as well, considering that they spent so much money for it. Whereas I believe it should be separate for those who just bought the game and that was it. I think that would have worked ohh way better in the long run..shame
I can't help but notice something weird about the colour scheme. It's when I was scrolling through P3 social link and I found Elizabeth social link and found out what arcana she has when you do a social link with her. It is the world arcana but if you're look closely at the colour on the world arcana is the exact same colour scheme of the protagonist of P3,4,5 . We got makoto Yuki who is blue and we got yu narukami who is yellow and we also got ren amamiya who is red and now P6 colour scheme is green and the colour of green is the only colour left in the world arcana. You don't think this have to be some kind of coincidence do you than that mean the next persona game colour scheme after P6 will either be golden or other colour instead

With one character being “customizable” and the other not, I wonder if the “second” character is a Persona. Like, you play as a human foreign exchange student during the day, and you play as the Personas themselves during dungeon crawling segments, traveling independently of their users. Also thus the “black and white” theme with the game focusing on the duality of a Persona and their human counterparts.
Could also be a Digital Devil Saga situation, but I feel like it’s a little doubtful.

Idk about yall but I feel like the cost problems with Ep Aigis is fine, because The Answer is worth the $35 on its own. It's just their wording with it. Had they bundled it all together and said "Episode Aigis is $35, but we'll also give you this extra content," it would've felt a lot better

I think it could be a little odd for customization because I really like the voice acting they had with persona 5 protagonist Ren. I just hope they make it where there’s a “cannon” look to the protag, I know it’s kinda nitpicky but I really like playing as them, I don’t like “feeling” like the protag
I love how everyone that made a negative review on steam for the expansion pass bought it to not only play it when it comes out but to Complain about it after they bought it
Atlus did not sell us a SEASON PASS, so what they did with the DLC roll out isn't incorrect on their part. Yes spending 100 Dollars would make you think that the DLc should be included, but also, no where in the purchase did it say anything about receiving "DLC" or "Future content" for free. So what they did is not necessarily 'wrong' its just incredibly sheisty and greedy. I personally read the items included in the Deluxe and immediately say aloud to myself "wait? so no season pass?" and proceeded to just buy the game. IMO artbooks and music(that will be on a streaming service later) are not worth the extra cost. I personally want game content, not accessories.

I feel like the people who are complaning about the price of the DLC are being overly dramatic and entitled because here in Australia the price is around $52 and while I do think the price is a little high it does not ruin the enjoyment of playing the game.
But for sure $52 way too much, it should be about 30$ which is not high but also not too low.

I find the whole expansion pass drama pretty dumb. Atles admited they wanted to have it in the base game but it would had taken a lot work and later droped. I believe a lot of persona fans think making a whole new video game ESPECIALLY with 30 hours of extra content is very easy. I think the pricing is very in line with what they're offering since its a way for persona fans to come back to the game throughout the year and 30 hours of extra CONTENT. Its crazy people dont think 30 hours isnt a lot??! Thats like 1/3 of the game time for basic p5

Bro, i would love to see what kind of chaos will be for the final boss, in P3 it was death, P5 was the god of control, (i forget specifically what the god was in P4 but it wasn't good for humanity regardless). I wonder if they'll bring back Pandora from P1. Also i hope we get even more confidants that are interesting. Personally i loved Takemi because of her being a back alley doctor with a heart of gold trying to save a little girl for a while even after being discharged from the hospital. Finally I wonder what kind of Chaos Child the Velvet Room will unleash this time.

the only thing i cared about in Xenoblade Chronicles 3's expansion pass was the added story, I don't remember the backlash for that... (I guess they did however add some more superficial characters to the base game but still.)

1:55 30 hours is still pretty good meaty game for $30.00 US. It's still better than having a subscription service shoved down my throat, because i'd rather pay a one time fee for a game I can play whenever I want rather than be chained to monthly installments.

i missed out on Golden and Royal because im not using 90+ hours of my life on the same game. Im not playing 6 on day one. Im waiting for its FES, Golden, Royal version.
Royal came out 4 years after p5, and p6 seems to have a continuous DLC mindset from the getgo, if you feel like waiting possibly 5+ years for the complete edition, then go ahead. I'll be enjoying it in 2026 the latest
