OMG Lenovo was less than a week old and when I turned it on there was no light from the display at all I started to panic turns out that I just had brightness on zero if this is happening to you just check ur brightness. because unlike other computer companies when Lenovo says zero brightness it actually means no light 🤦🏽‍♂️ almost shat myself

I've got a 10 year old lenovo ideapad and after doing a windows 10 update, got the black screen of death, wouldn't boot windows up. I didn't try this method here, but I tried a lot of other methods and I want to tell you the simple thing which worked for me. I started the laptop using the "Novo button" (little button to near the start button on my particular model) and went to the Boot Menu (having no luck with Normal Start, System Restore, BIOS or any others) and under Boot Menu I arrowed down to the name of my hard drive, which in my case is an SSD, and highlighted that and pressed enter, and to my shock it booted into Windows fine, and restarts normally now.

Hey everyone,
I had the same issue with my laptop as well,
Try turning up your brightness when the screen is black.
Lenovo computers tend to go fully black when lowering the brightness.
