I don't want to spoil your fun with your computer, but this is not really a good choice, even for a "starter computer".

If you are willing to have a small, economical good looking "starter pc" for about the same price on Amazon with a double RAM, double size storage space and better CPU; like the PEALDN WI-6 Pro Mini PC; the Beelink Mini S12, DreamQuest Mini PC ... as long as they have an Intel N95/N100 Chip or something comparably. Avoid the Pentiums or Celerons.

When you're talking about computers at the performance tier of the AM01, you're pretty much splitting hairs when talking about performance differences. Especially considering the AM01's good enough to play the types of games this video focuses on, there's really no need to hunt down marginally better performance. The RAM and storage upgrades could be decent but they're not entirely necessary based on our testing.
The AM01 also looks more aesthetically appealing (subjectively) and comes from a known gaming brand. No one's claiming there isn't a slight branding premium to the purchase. However, both the appearance and brand support are worthwhile to consider for folks getting into PC gaming for the first time, particularly for cozy games.

@@GameXData Not really, because the N95/N100 is about 30% faster than the AMD APU for the same price. That is not "marginally and splitting hair". This is also the reason, why I warned that you should read very carefully the what CPU is built-in and avoid known bargain bin CPUs/APUs, as this price segment is infested with them.
I don't want to pull down your enjoyment of your computer, but preferring a subjectively better design over a stark noticably performance difference .. well it is your decision and if you are happy with it, godspeed.
Ayaneo itself is a well-known brand, yes, but also known that it is most of the time grossly overpriced for that what their computers deliver.
