I have a CTS Turbo downpipe and I love it!
Nice video. I have a catless CTS downpipe on my MK7 with a muffler delete; the key to no drone with less of a ricey sound on the stock catback is the 17930/ 17950 vibrant resonator in place of the stock resonator. No drone on highway, still extremely loud at WOT.
Do you get some burbles and pops with the Res on ?

Got a cheap catless downpipe and immediately regretted it. Fitment was off and sound is not great. Just ordered a CTS downpipe and intercooler so hopefully it’s better
you know if going catless might cause a check engine light? i wanna get a downpipe but don’t know if paying the extra 100$ is worth.
short answer yes. catted or catless it's gonna be a gamble. no 2 cars are the same you gotta experiment yourself. for me when i wasn't stage 2 tuned yet with a catless dp, my CEL came on in the summer but go away when it gets colder..

Lol I actually just put back on a stock exhaust cause muffler delete was too drone for me. But now it’s too quiet again 😪 I give up

Guys, if you dont want it to be too loud, just install the Downpipe, and keep stock resenator and muffler. I just installed mine, all stock except downpipe, and no tune, and it sounds perfect, not raspy, and when you hit 2.5 - 3k is when you really hear it. Also you are still able to keep a conversation inside the car. Hope this helps someone

Besides the cts downpipe
You could of made this a sub 5 minute video easy.
Where is yours?
Sound from stage 1 to stage 2 is noticeable it’s due to the exhaust valve timing changes.

I’v been running the eqt stage 1 with burbles on stock downpipe & have had zero issues for almost a year idk how that circuit werks crap broke like that 😆

@@cameronn7706 nope but I didn’t do them constantly, I went catless downpipe and back to stock downpipe for inspection no issues with burbles

Your VW powertrain warranty will be voided. If you get the apr plus tune, a third party warranty provider that is through APR will help you out with any issues.
@@iiChromEo I'm asking about the service warranty that I paid for its separate from the powertrain warranty. It covers all of your services up until like 80k miles . It added an extra cost to my loan
nah that should be fine cause that's not warranty. they're just changing your oils which you pay for

Love my cts dp. It takes all my ricer 2 steps so its definitely robust enough to handle even the most aggressive overrun tunes.
