wondering with that Cobb Accessport, is that a do it yourself tunning??
Generally people will tune out cars using Maestro. But you can easily use a JB4 on your car which costs less and you can still run custom Maps and all. I’ve seen over 300 whp from a JB4 as well!
if you know how to tune these platforms you can tune it through vcds... i got mine tuned by project a' miami and thats how they custom tuned vw... i have a 2016 1.8t jetta which is a nonmqb so there are no tuners whatsoever for my car.. also you can have malone tuning or reflect tuning remote tune your car for you if you know how to do that. if you can custom tune the jetta gli though and do it well you can make a decent amount of money since our platforms crave tuning.. especially pops and bang tune
Theres a lot more then fuel trims and boost.. Most run on load based boost idk about vw..
Wot is east part its part load that gets tricky so many tps variables.
Pops and bangs are easy part.
I have a modified motronic with 3bar map soldered inside and a voltage step up for flashing. Use tunerpro software.

Actually, the front mount intercooler a for this car don't perform very well. They've been tested and the best performing intercoolers for this car are stock location intercoolers but upgraded. In order to run front mount on this car you either need to run it in twintercooler setup or re route the stock piping and there isn't a good kit to do that. The best performing intercooler is the integrated engineering version 1.
I am currently running my CTS front mount as a twintercooler I purchased a cheap twin setup from eBay and just used the piping
This fmic performs well at his power. Now if he wanted to go let's say bigger turbo then yes he would definitely look into the stock location IC.
@@StreetAllianceCarMeets yeah it's certainly not hurting anything but if you are going to upgrade may as well get something with some longevity. This twintercooler set up is perfectly fine.

@@ogfromutube9649 for a lot of japanese cars front mounts work better, usually because there is actually room to put one there, meaning you don't have to try and fit a small one up front. But, European cars often have things preventing a bigger front mount from being able to fit.
guys is it bad for the car doing downpipe, exhaust and intake without stage 1 or 2?
Our cars are very smart and it would not be bad for the car though there is really no point to do all those mods and not tune it. Without a tune you will lose some torque but gain a little HP up top just due to the change in back pressure.

@@mattd8469 absolutely, unless you want to spend the price of a transmission rebuild. like building a house, focus on the important stuff first, not those that are aesthetically pleasing. Starts with a turbo, then work backwards. What is it with wanna be tuners for VW.
