I love the way Tim's playing is so fluid. I'm really in awe of his talent.
one Hell of a Resume
Norm, knowing and exposing real working musician's is an awesome look into real people who have really experienced the business.
Bless you both for being who you are and what you do.MR.PIERCE IS MY TRUE INSPIATION.ALWAYS WITH A SMILE.
I was once his guitar tech. I could still set up his gear. Keep in mind he has 5 amp heads switchable into a single cabinet. I can still set it up in my sleep. sometimes I do.
Matt Smith That's awesome. What's the most take away tip you got from him?
How many guitars did he have?
Tim is in my short list of killer guitar players....what a talent..!!!
Tim is my favorite studio musician. He is a master guitar player, but, more importantly, he is a real person. I love his videos and his website. Thank you, norm, for having him in the store!
I have learned so much from him! This guy is the legend!
Love Mr Pierce, he's awesome !!!!
Tim's the best. Watch his videos all the time and he has taken the time to respond to me on more than one occasion to answer my questions. Stand-up guy!
Fascinating...thanks for sharing Tim and Norm.....
i like to read the comment sections....like a town hall...read about 50 comments...not one disparaging word...rare for u-tube...been subscribed to Tim's Master Class for about a year...every word everyone has said about him is true...class act...
There are few people who have the natural talent and dedication to become a really elite level studio player - when I was really young I thought I wanted to do that but I knew right away that for every guy that made it there were probably 999,999 that didn't. So I let the guitar sit, got married, kid, cubicle drone job, long hours etc. And now 50 years later...I knew I made the right move. Complete respect to those like Tim, Larry, etc...who had what it took, had luck on their side and who made the most of it. I enjoy his playing. Seems like a great guy.
It's great to see so many special players on your show
Very very good! Thanks Tim Pierce.
Check out his amazing album "Guitarland" from 1995. This guy is so incredibly talented and his sound so awesome. Always wearing a smile on his face. His Masterclass is highly recommended........
Tim is the real deal and one of the best, if not the best internet teachers out there. After I stopped taking lessons in person, I scouted youtube for teachers. Tim's great attitude, smile and infectious teaching style hooked me and I signed up for his master class. I recommend it.
Thanks guys. 2 true legends
Love Tim youtube channel , his lessons, his new pedal, and Norm' awesome knoxledge and stuff about great guitars he has too....awesome men !!!! Best regards from France
Tim Piece is a class act, a great guy, and a national treasure, whether you've heard of him or not. His honesty and integrity in all he says and does is inspiring. I'm so glad to see him teaching and humbly making himself available to us common folk...a great man, indeed... definitely one of the good ones. Oh, and did I mention that he's one hell of a musician,/ guitar player. His "touch," his feel for his instrument, the way he can get the guitar to sound like himself or any of HIS guitar heroes is uncanny. He's also like the Rich Little of guitar players. Long live Tim Pierce!
Ahhh great to see Tim...LOVE that guy!
Thank You Norm! Tim Pierce Is Just Pure 'Frettboard Class'🎓🎸🎼
Love Tim Pierce, great teacher and player
Love Tim Pierce. Dude is everything I want to be. 😎😎
Bald?
Be yourself
Tim Pierce isn't the best guitarist in the world, but he very well might be the most professional. That's why people hire him = he's MONEY. He gets the job done always, every time. A role model for what it means to be a pro musician.
budgetguitarist.com might be the most sincere and true comment on here
budgetguitarist.com every time I see him recording something for a track all you hear him talk about is song song song. What’s best for the song, that’s why he’s in demand. True professional, real inspiration.
I'm just not into him.
That’s cool
Trump fucking sucks.
One of the best places, Norm is always glad to see you....lol and I bought guitars from him...also a great place for lessons...
Tim is just plain AWESOME!
This guy is amazing! What a player and ruddy lovely guy - I'm not surprised he is on so many sessions :)
Tim is a great teacher and a real good guy. Pay him a visit and you will learn, no matter what stage of guitar playing you are at. Good interview.
He is such a class act! What an amazing player that makes the Trac he plays on! Such great talent geez.

Killer guitar... and Tim, a guitar MONSTER! 🎸🎶🎶
Such a modest guy and yet he's been part of 100s of great recordings.
Tim's a true pro! Anyone making a living playing guitar, God bless them.
I make money playing guitar; but not a living. Not from not trying I work all the time. When I dont I'm shedding ....
Tim is a real musicians musician. Everyone could learn a thing or 10 from him. Totally great guy, too.
He plays so incredible clean!
All I heard was Rob Thomas! Tim thanks for all you do for the guitar community!
Tim Pierce is the man. Very humble. Awesome teacher. Unless there is some deep dark secret about him he could be one of the largest role models in the industry. As you can tell I am a big fan. :)
Great guitar player, one of the best. Was really interesting when he was talking about the edge and cosplay, very cool
Wonderful insight...
I'm loving all the uploads lately
Good revealing interview work by Norm, and touring with Dobie in the 60's playing "I'm in with the in crowd" on Hammond.
Tim is the man! He has some great YT content on his own!
Tim's from Burque...nice. Greeting from Espanola, NM.
I don't know shit about guitar, but I sure dig Norm's Rare Guitar channel! 🎸🎸🎸🖥🖥
I'm in the same boat. Love Guitar of the Day.
Don't play a lick, but my kids do - got it from their Momma.

What a gentleman Tim is..a good bloke
Tim Pierce is an icon in his own right.

Tim's the Man!!!
Tim is so inispiring, loved that stuff about ego
Tim is the man. Can't say enough good things about him
Tim is such a great dude
Tim seems to be easy to get along with like he is one of your old friends from high school. He does know the music .
now if you ask me that is the best ton I have ever heard on this channel
Oh yes I love him !!!!
we all do
Tim's a BEAST!
Tim is an amazing guitarist.
LEGEND!!!!
Treasure vault of knowledge and talents.
I wish we could've heard him play a little bit more.
Norms got some awesome videos!
Oh my an under appreciated legend.
True
Check out "Tim and Pete's Guitar Show"here on YT too. He and Pete Thorn are a great combo with tons of great stories, tips and tricks.
Yep! It's like a monthly "It Might Get Loud" (Great Format) Tim and Pete are perfect together.
The life of a musician ain't easy I go by the tour buses in the parking lots Kroger, Walmart ect outside of Nashville where I live and see those folks loading up for another run. It always makes me think of Bob Seger Turn The Page then Jackson Brown the Load Out.
Best and modest guitar player ever. Period.
A true master.
His work on the AxCx albums is so under rated...
Glad to see Tim perk up when Larry's name is mentioned.
Very Nice.
Glad to hear the props to Pete Thorn. His gear demos are amazing. A lot of times he writes a proper song to show off the product. A song I'd pay money for.
Also Tim has had a singer named Sophia Pfister on a couple of his videos. I think we'll hear her name more in the future.
Legend
Tim! Nice!
i just found out about this guy
he’s amazing
Seems like the really connected players are often also capable of being the great teachers too. Not all want to do it but great players who teach also pad their own careers and the personal payoff is great. No matter if you are TP or Joe Shmo, teaching is one of the big personal payoffs in music. If you can inspire some kid or help a up and coming player your legacy is made. Thanks Tim.
If he is half as nice as he is in interviews he would be a joy to play with and the top of my call list .
That guy is my hero
when subscriptions collide!
Does Norm make them keep the reverb up that high? Everyone that comes into his store seems to have the amp set that way. Love Tim though and watching stuff about him on YT, you can see why he's a first call guitarist.
Tim!!!!🥨🥨🥨🤩
i enjoy this informative q and a format, maybe i'm late to the party, but Norm, i would enjoy these types of "interviews"
He played rhythm and lead guitar for Jon Bon Jovi on his first hit "Runaway"
Norman, were you with Pollution? We, The Groove Company, traded sets with them at The Beach House in Venice in 1970-71.
Really a nice guy 👍
U da man Tim
Awesome, love it when I see a player with fat fingers play this good, gives me hope.
Julian Bream comes to mind. He had huge fat fingers.
Tim he my favourite person guitarst
Tim's great.
Does anyone here know who played the guitar solo on the Ronnie Milsap song "She Loves My Car"???? For Sure????
Tim Pierce is LEGIT.
Personality also goes a long way! Keep smilin....
Norm Thank You So Much My Friend
Have to interview Dann Huff!
Dude can play anything
I know you might not see this Tim but can you send me the tab for that warm up exercise ascending and descending like you did ?
