- Republicans are claiming that noncitizens are voting in federal elections and causing massive voter fraud. The only issue with their statements is that they’re not true.
This should be a campaign ad.

I lived in Texas from June 2020 to Aug 2022. I would of loved to have voted. But I was not allowed because i am 🇨🇦!

Did you know that Marc Elias himself was responsible for organizing (on behalf of the DNC) people to call those who had signed petitions in N. Carolina to get a Green party candidate on the ballot in 2022 and asked them to remove their signature in order to block the candidate from the election? They were successfully sued for doing this. The *PEOPLE* of N. Carolina wanted and signed for a candidate from a third party to be an option, and the Democratic party/Elias usurped the will of those NC residents just to hurt the opposition. That is not what I call democracy, and anyone with a conscience should be outraged by such tactics. Democracy Docket doesn't just fight against the dirty dealings of the Republican party, they literal subvert democracy because they don't want to lose power to ANYONE.

Who cannot vote? U.S. citizens residing in U.S. territories cannot vote for president in the general election.
Check with your state or local election office for any questions about who can and cannot vote.

Are registered to vote by your state's voter registration deadline. North Dakota does not require voter registration.

Some people cannot vote after being convicted of a felony or if they are currently serving time for other types of crimes. Rules are different in each state. Check this guide from the Department of Justice to understand the laws in your state.
In both Maine and Vermont, a convicted Felon serving a Life sentence with zero chance of parole, does not lose their Constitutional right to vote.

Where does the Constitution say, it does not require citizenship to vote? The Constitution is speaking to and for the American People, not the entire planet. They did not feel it was even necessary to state the obvious of who they were addressing and to their target audience. Did it apply to the English having fought a Revolution? Maybe they should have written in the Constitution that it does not apply to the British? No, that was not necessary, the spirit or intent of the law.

1, They are legal
2. The ID is verified.
Check your voter registration in your state.

They could reasonably vote in their local area elections. As a US citizen currently living in Belgium, I am legally able to register to vote in my municipality; strictly local.

It depends upon where you live. Some places allow non-citizens to vote in local elections, and here in Michigan there is a proposal to allow legal residents to vote in state elections too. Whether it will pass, I don't know.

You don't need ANY firm of ID to vote in Washington state. I personally know state workers that teach immigrants how to vote.
