At 32 I've given up. If it was going to happen it would have already happened years ago. At this point I'm doing everything I can, including asking God to remove this desire for marriage and kill it. If its never going to be fulfilled then it's a waste of time to have it. Im too old to be hanging onto false promises. Hey, don't get discouraged. Sometimes things dont happen because we still need deliverance. Ask God to reveal every little thing that is making you not find love. Maybe you still need to get deliverance in some areas of your life (example: finances, mental, health, etc) and that could be an obstacle. Dont give up, pray constantly for God to reveal everything and be humble when God corrects you and shows you something you need to improve. Im in that process right now and it is unbelievable how many things God has shown me... i have been fixing issues that i had no idea needed fixing (i thought i was ready and perfect... but... nope) and i know i still have a long way to go... but since it is God who is preparing me, i can see progress every day and get so motivated in the "waiting"

However I have chose to turn from our past. And have been struggling and been on the receiving end of domestic abuse. And being told that I must obey him ( my husband) that how he interprets the word for our life. I pray that our father will see us through and bring us back into what he has for us according to his word. That my husband will have his eyes opened and know beyond any doubt what he and I must do to walk with God in the cool of the evening. That he will use us mightly for his purpose. Send our comfort to guide us together and/or separate. Here I am Lord. What would you have me to do. Amen

I agree totally. As someone with borderline personality disorder, I really don't feel deep feelings for spouse(s) in the context of love AND sex. I never give anyone everything. I'm reserved sometimes and guarded always. The smallest nuance turns me off from my spouse. At that moment there's no way to get the moment back. There isn't a day off it's who you are.
Prayers for you to be delivered from this trauma. I can relate but I am being healed!! Believe it's not a permanent thing and believe it is not part of who you are. It's trauma and demonic. Same here. I have BPD and I found it difficult to balance.. especially with someone not invested in their spirituality as I am and want to be. But I'm also not married and I am out of a long term relationship not too long ago. So I really need to ingrain it in myself that I am worth waiting for and marrying... Having BPD and fearing abandonment would make me go to sex impulsively and I would feel that I owed it. Done doing that.
I also want to say we have to practice sex as it was made: we have our sexual organs for it. Because world perverted it, that even some Christian don't see what is right or wrong... Sure we can but its perverted to use another places designed for another things like oral se* or anal. God made these places for another functions. Also sex is not just acces to some organs, but a whole process which starts with our daily attitude, hugs and attention to whole person, not just to one or 2 organs. Maybe people who are long in marriage can sometimes have fast sex without much attention but it shouldn't be a regular thing.. This is something which can be learned and should be learned.

Hey, don't get discouraged. Sometimes things dont happen because we still need deliverance. Ask God to reveal every little thing that is making you not find love. Maybe you still need to get deliverance in some areas of your life (example: finances, mental, health, etc) and that could be an obstacle. Dont give up, pray constantly for God to reveal everything and be humble when God corrects you and shows you something you need to improve. Im in that process right now and it is unbelievable how many things God has shown me... i have been fixing issues that i had no idea needed fixing (i thought i was ready and perfect... but... nope) and i know i still have a long way to go... but since it is God who is preparing me, i can see progress every day and get so motivated in the "waiting"

I have been seeing many of the actions of those around me that are not in accordance with the word. I been so hesitant because sadly my husband has been of walking in such a tio s that I know to not be the way of the Lord. It troubles me because I have been one in the same. However I have chose to turn from our past. And have been struggling and been on the receiving end of domestic abuse. And being told that I must obey him ( my husband) that how he interprets the word for our life. I pray that our father will see us through and bring us back into what he has for us according to his word. That my husband will have his eyes opened and know beyond any doubt what he and I must do to walk with God in the cool of the evening. That he will use us mightly for his purpose. Send our comfort to guide us together and/or separate. Here I am Lord. What would you have me to do. Amen

I agree totally. As someone with borderline personality disorder, I really don't feel deep feelings for spouse(s) in the context of love AND sex. I never give anyone everything. I'm reserved sometimes and guarded always. The smallest nuance turns me off from my spouse. At that moment there's no way to get the moment back. There isn't a day off it's who you are.

Prayers for you to be delivered from this trauma. I can relate but I am being healed!! Believe it's not a permanent thing and believe it is not part of who you are. It's trauma and demonic. Same here. I have BPD and I found it difficult to balance.. especially with someone not invested in their spirituality as I am and want to be. But I'm also not married and I am out of a long term relationship not too long ago. So I really need to ingrain it in myself that I am worth waiting for and marrying... Having BPD and fearing abandonment would make me go to sex impulsively and I would feel that I owed it. Done doing that.
I isolate myself, much easier than dealing with desires for marriage that will never be fulfilled.

I also want to say we have to practice sex as it was made: we have our sexual organs for it. Because world perverted it, that even some Christian don't see what is right or wrong... Sure we can but its perverted to use another places designed for another things like oral se* or anal. God made these places for another functions. Also sex is not just acces to some organs, but a whole process which starts with our daily attitude, hugs and attention to whole person, not just to one or 2 organs. Maybe people who are long in marriage can sometimes have fast sex without much attention but it shouldn't be a regular thing..

I have alot of abuse in my past .you are my right about not punishing your spouse.
My husband only wants sex about 4 times a year. He constantly rejects me. Almost from the time we got married and for 6 and 1/2 years. I feel like throwing up but now I do not want him touching me. He would rather do things with himself in the shower. What's wrong with this picture? Sick.
Sorry. I guess men aren't the only ones that struggle. My wife only wants it a couple times a year as well nothing we can do, right! It is kind of unfair if you knew everything you would go through you would of married someone else, right!!! And that other person would go marry someone else that wants sex only four times a year, and then those two can be happy... and you could be married to the person that wants it 2 or 3 times a week like you do.
I see this happening a lot.. men are becoming less active and don't want the real thing for some odd reason they wat nothing to do with the real deal. They want more and more fantasies and keep to themselves. This is actually something happening on a grand scale.
