So did your smally really way 5lbs, we couldn’t see scales and you did not call out weight? Also be surprised if fish survived after you held it out of water so long
Spot lock is very erratic for me. Also takes a while to get a gps signal sometimes. I wouldn't stand with spot lock on that's for sure. I've calibrated a few times. Maybe doesn't get the best signal and causes a delay or something.
I think what you had happen was the remote was between your vest and leg pushing on a button. I had that happen. I’ve since moved my controller up on my vest. Also, just put it in standby when you’re working with a fish.
It's not the Xi3, You've got other issues. 1. Yes there is a software update if you haven't done that. 2. You need to be more careful with your controller, I'd suggest running it under your vest so that only a small amount of the lanyard comes out of the bottom, this will reduce the "accidental" button pressing. 3. It looks like you're sitting on an inner tube, that's way too high bud making you "tippy".... Glad you recovered from that. I had an incident where I accidentally pressed a button on my controller while removing fishing line from my propeller. Always a learning experience! 👍🏾
It was the crazy winds that day they were swirling around that island I think that's what jacked it up. Seems to be working all right since then but I still don't trust it

Wow, that made me get the “willys” when you started rocking. You did great staying centered.

Unfortunately the pro of having a spotlock is a con as well. It can be dangerous in bad weather or heavy current
what kinda kayak you even on. im betting on anything alot more stable tipping wouldnt be a problem.
Is your seat raised? By how much?
120.00 will get you a set of inflatable outrigger kit .. keep you from rolling

Do you calibrate your trolling motor before each outing? Are you still having this issue?

Get the fish back in the water!
You should make a short to bring awareness
Big fan of your channel! Enjoyed watching your segments at I cast. Keep up the great work!
Did the software update help this out?
I never downloaded the software
Did you properly calibrate your motor because no one else is having problems with there motor randomly taking off
I have same motor no problem at all I think u hit button bud and if I did that in my kayak I would be ok bc type of yak
Poor fish was probably dead after all that time out of the water 😅
No sir
No kidding. He had that fish out of the water for 4:30 minutes.
Seat is way too high
