This video is for educational purposes, and how I handled this bad situation. Prayers to the family. The Day started normal my buddy and put in, ready to run to the dam and then fish back. I noticed a weird oil slick in the water, as I went down, I saw what I thought was a log as I passed it, I saw a hand sticking up rotten. I thought it was a Halloween prop. It was real it was fact checked and found to be human and the crocks that I saw at the boat ramp fit her feet. they suspect murder. I kept fishing after I gave my statement to the police. I should have gone home. Look Franklin NC or Macon County FB.

You did the right thing. The family will now have closure as to what happened to their loved one. Sorry that happened to you guys.
The appropriate thing to do is call the Police Station give them your name the date the body was reported and location then ask them if it is ok to share the video or should you ask the family and i am sure they would say NO. I personally would not and delete from your camera.
That's exactly what I did. I contacted the authorities. Do you feel that I put this video out in a tasteful manner

Damn that sucks. I’ve watched other videos of fisherman coming across things like this and I hope I never experience that. Is there any follow up on who that was?
It was a troubled woman in our town that had schizophrenia and was on substances and depressed for a long time. The unofficial ruling is suicide

Nice! I would love to catch a shoal bass! I grew up in Gainesville GA but left the area in 2001. No shoalies anywhere close to me.
I've been wanted to catch one for the past 10 years The guys that fish out there are very tight-lipped but I got lucky and found a buddy locally that was familiar with the area and you took me on that wonderful trip

That's why I bought a new one and I'm in the process of repairing my old one so I'll at least have two

I don’t know the whole story but I have a hard time believing this is actually what going to happen. Is there proof anywhere? All I’m seeing on the internet is the non gps models only are getting discontinued? Also, some of the marketing for all the new kayaks this last week at icast had xi3’s on it. Wouldn’t have done that if the xi3 is doing away. Not sure what’s going on.
What's going on is that I heard it straight from the dealer's mouth also heard it from the service centers. You should start gathering
@@northeastgeorgiakayakfishi1194 did a lot of gathering and spoke to some different people and a dealer. Non gps models ONLY are being discontinued. Which includes the R3, XI3, and XI5 non gps models. All gps model XI3 and xi5’s are still being made. Your dealer may not have been very clear with you when saying what models got discontinued, or they weren’t sure themselves. I guess time will tell🤷♂️ I could be wrong as well
Maybe their going to introduce the xi5 kayak? But still I can find them on almost every website that sells motor guide, how ever I don’t see many available options for the non gps. Hope this ain’t true cause I was hoping to get one here this fall

Check out my videos The xi3 actually tried to kill me one time. If you have current going one way and when going another it's not good
@@northeastgeorgiakayakfishi1194 Wow, I went back and found that video. Pretty scary. I’ve been wanting a NuCanoe Unlimited and add a Spotlock TM. I heard Newport Vessels is coming out with one possibly going to be revealed at iCast this year. I may wait and see what they offer.
