      @@alexj0101 Tekken 7 and USF4 work perfectly in Linux but I also have a dedicated Win10 machine for SFV and others. Also emulation is great in Linux.

    Glad I held off on buying a PS3/PS4 board for my hitbox build. I play almost exclusively on PC. Good to see a low cost pcb with higher quality than the Zero Delay coming out.

      @@julienandrus4169 It worked great. It worked the second I connected it and it worked on the FG I had installed. Can recommend if you plan to play on PC or Switch, as this board is not compatible with Xbox and only works on PS1-3

    we still need a deeper test regarding delay (compare to the old version....).
    by the way, what's the name of your very nice metal case ?? It looks pretty cool !!! :-)

      feels on par with UFB but ill need to do a proper lag test to confirm when i have time. case is a fightstick asia metal case (now out of business).

    I was all gearing up to get a UFB to make my new stick I'm building soon "future proof" in case covid ends and I can hit up some locals again but uh ... since all I actually play at home is PC and Switch maybe I should just grab one of these for now and lower that price a bunch. Can always swap it out later if I really need to. Thanks for the video!

    Ik I may sound stupid but if I have the daisy chain connections for all the buttons and one end is in a ground where do I put the other end that has the prong at the end?

      Sounds like you just have an extra quick disconnect in the chain. Doesn’t technically need to be plugged in if all the buttons have a signal and a ground.

    I just pre ordered it my main reasons for getting it is because of latency im still using the original madcatz te and that on pc feel like a half or more frame slower than xbox or ps4 pad

      You’d have to wire it up the the Jamma harness for the Pandora’s box but it is possible and yes xinput on pc.

    Have you ever had input interference with aftermarket usb cables for these boards? I built 3 sticks with the UFB and none of the A-B usb cables do not come with the ferrite beads that I see all stock fight sticks come with them installed and Ive been telling myself "I keep dropping these combos, I need to get good" but Im starting to think I may need these ferrite beads on the cables... Do you have a way to test this?

      Tanner from all my experience using Brook PCBs I’ve never experienced anything like what you are describing. I typically use the USB cables from mono price, they have a decent amount of shielding.

    If your only playing on PC, Is there any point in getting the UFB over this? This is waaaay cheaper and I don't care about compatibility with other platforms.

      Right now the GP2040 has a leg up on performance and features, hopefully Brook will come up with an update to match.

      @@winkawak It's $25, just get one. Anything from brook is better than any proprietary PCB, that's for sure.

    can this been used with a brook adapter? The zero delay pcb has that compatibility with the brook ps4 adapter, but I'd buy this in a heartbeat if it can do that.

      Good question.. Just tested it on the white ps3-ps4 adapter for you and it works like a charm..

    Was looking at the Pico Fighting Boards when I came across these. look way simpler even though the Picos are supposed to be lower input latency.
    My understanding is the input latency between the two is less than 1ms.
    Anyone ever use them both able to confirm?
    Currently using the Zero Delay ones on my cabinet with a Raspberry Pi 3, and wanting to know if it was worth switching.

    Is it possible to screw two separate buttons into the down input terminal on this pcb to have two separate down buttons, i want to add an extra button under my X/A button on my mixbox

      If using the screw terminal, 2 wires into Down. And you can ground anywhere on the board. Keep in mind you can also tap into the 20 pin cable instead of the screw terminals.

    Did i understand correctly - you can't just plug in Sanwa stick and buttons in this board, it's necessary to buy brook cable. Is that right?

      The one you will receive should have both options. The one shown in the video was only in production for a few months before they made the new version.

    I do not see any color coded diagram for soldering the J15 Playstation 1/2 wires to the board. Is there any tutorial or image that says which color goes where?

    I really dont understand this control board. I have the generic zero delay in my hitbox and it works perfectly fine.

      The input lag on those generic boards are atrocious. I've dropped combos in USF4 with those boards thinking my timing was off but the lag from those crappy boards really punish you in fighting games with 1 framers like USF4. I've replaced my PC fightstick with the Brook Zero Pi and the input lag issues went away. Lesson- you get what you pay for.

      Main reason for Brook use is SOCD cleaning, and X-in input for PC. Also, cheap zero delay encoders don’t work with brook converters

      @@tylerbeard4092 they work fine my man. The "cheap" $9 board plugs into the brook ps3>ps4 converter to function like a ps4 controller all for $39 total.

      Wire a Button to J8 Section (signal and ground). Hold down the button and press the button you want turbo to be active on. J11 Section is to wire an LED indicator for the turbo.

      It’s definitely possible since it outputs as xinput. For instance the steam deck accepts it and that’s a Linux based OS.
