My boss is starting to teach me how to screen print next week(I do embroidery, digital printing and some office stuff right now) so this video was super nice. I know bits and pieces of the process so it was nice seeing it all put together! Thanks!:)
Thank you for the instructional videos. I just bought all of my parents neighbors screen printing equipment including all of his sublimation equipment. He ran his business out of his home for 35 years. Anyways I worked with him for a few weeks plus he is going to help me for the next year at my shop. Channels like yours are a huge help to me as I learn the basics. I hope that this coming summer to open up my own shop. Thanks again, excuse me as I go watch the rest of your videos
We had a little experience with this over the years. Thank you for showing others some of the things involved.
I have been in prepress for 40 years and this is the first time I have seen the screen process, pretty interesting
love the step by step process, really helps. We getting ready to do our first tee in mid April 2018 So excited.
Thank you
What an awe inspiring process!
Great work guys! Awesome video!
Great tutorial. We use the Vastex v1000 for live screen printing. It holds great registration.
This is the process id love to learn. you ended up on my deep dive of research and youtube university. thanks for that.
fourambition, woaooo I love it...
You make look easy...
I'm starting at my home, I have small machine, no bad for start...
Thank you for your patiencie and show your tips
starting my new job in 2 or 3 days thank you for the VIDEO!
Do you need a degree for this job?
Thanks for the video, I've made the decision to do lots of research on screen printing!
Great video! Very helpful!
Thank you for a very good video to explain the process!

My dad started a screen print business 25 years ago man i respect him for that
Great presentation!
Brilliant video. Have just ordered a nice starter kit, and this video really helps. Thank you!
Which kit did you get?
iR3CT Intro2Pro 4 Colour 2 Station Tabletop Waterbased Kit from a company in the UK..cant wait to get it!..:)
We had the films already printed and i just brushed over how to send us files. This was more for our clients who didn't know anything about the screen printing process. Once colors are in spot, they separate out pretty easily in Indesign printer settings. And to answer your other question, Vastex 2000hd 6/6 and we have a 4/4
Thank you. Great work!
Great video, thanks for taking the time to help us understand the process. The spot color was something new to me. I'll definitely do that going forward when I send creative to our vendor. Some feedback for you, the level on your background music track is a bit high so at times it's difficult to hear the instruction. All in all, a great video, thank you.
Hell Yeah. Legit and to the point. Great Video.
Great video, and your super fluid. Hope to get that way someday.
Great demonstration
Great Job, using the video for educational purposes. I wish the music was lower. Some parts are hard to hear!
Shawn Racioppa wtf

Awesome bro, great job!
Thank you for the video. It was really informative.
I love how you cut to the chase, great approach. I'd like to know about how to register accurately for 2 or 3 colors. Especially, how you know when to pull down your second and third screen so that they line up properly. Please advise if you can. Thanks.
What application is used

.
Hey greetings from Venezuela, have a good shop with good machines screen printers I'm also just do the same process that only more traditional home emulsion, but anyway I like your advice on many silkscreen hope you continue placing more videos .. thanks
Awesome thank you
Awesome! Thanks!
Excellent
Y'all make that look hella easy
fantastic!
that is fab i am going to start screen print transfers is this a good idea or bad
@rochelle Renee, This was just as short video to show people who don't screen print what the process is like. We have a dark room we store screens squeegee side up. There's so many variables with what kind of exposure unit, mesh count, type of emulsion etc. Best way to know your exposure time is use a test strip. Flash drying is just so wet ink doesn't stick to back of screen, about 5 secs. Hope that answers some of your questions.
Bro this video help me get a silk screening job!
yes we print on 100% polyestor all the time. Those wicken dryfit shirts are becoming very popular
You can use that t-square to center and have a common spot for multi color prints so you don't need an extra ruler. Long live production!!
Great work and great equipement, will that make printing costly?
Great video how do you use all over printing
You make it sound more complex then it actually is.
thank you very much for responding
we use a workhorse lumitron exposure unit and expose for 3:55 and uses a backlight
We've never had a screen expose by leaving out prior the exposing. Granted, they are never out longer than a minute because im pretty quick about getting them lined up and in the exposure unit. May depend on type of emulsion you use but ours has to have that UV black light to properly expose
I was wondering about the exposure of the screens.
Really dope. What would a home version look like? DIY but still great quality.
What is the scaled down version to fit in a garage or something
M tech smart print ideas is best learning channel for screen printing
Dope video! got a question, i just recently bought a epson 1440 printer for transparencies. Could you make a video on how to print them, i've tried to print on transparencies so far and it just keeps saying the paper needs to be reloaded when i already have it in there smh.
so cool
It has to go through a RIP system when printing and there's more print settings in Indesign. Its just supposed to be done that way and thats the way I teach it in my intro-to-printing class
I work in d.t.g. printing/screen printing and we are in the process of printing stadium cushions. Having problems with the ink smearing. Do you have any tips?
Anjaaaaay
I noticed after you did the emulsion you washed the screen off in the light, a lot of other sites/videos say that you should do this while still in a dark room... is that not the case? I am new at this and want to make sure I don't ruin a screen or make any mistakes. Thanks!
It depends on the nature of the job, spot colour artwork without fine detail isn't affected as much as halftone artwork
When do you put the emulsion on the frame, is it not light sensitive? What does the frame do in the Lumitron?
thanks for share
What is the SCREEN EXPOSURE UNIT brand?
Can you only screen print on clothing that has a flat surface? I have some t shirts with a bumpy texture but I don’t know if it will work
Do you only have black ink in your Epson printer. Or do you have the yellow blue etc ink in there as well?
how long is the exposure time to reveal the mesh?, What kind of light you use
After coating with elmosion how long should it dry for. No one seens to say the time. Thanks
if you received a jpeg file that was not spot colored or if the measurements werent standard would there be anyway to resize the image before printing it or could the printer match the colors (as close as possible) in order to print (2 or 3 color image) ??
Thx for sharing
