Junior java developer here(and mobile dev in past). Going to move from Europe to USA. Is it easier to find first job as junior Salesforce developer than junior java developer?
I've been doing the Odin project for JavaScript and then planned on getting Salesforce JavaScript dev certified. Is this a stupid plan? Should I be learning Apex/Java first? And just going for platform developer?
either way is good. also learning javascript first will make you understand apex a bit easier from dynamic to static typed language, just a little adjustment is needed.

How Should I learn JS for Salesforce?
It's great, just a small concern. What about Visualforce and Aura? Are they completely out of the job market?
