They just want the stability back. That second story sounds like different parts of other stories. The whole staying in rooms, dessert island living room and working late. Where from a story about a guy who caught his wife cheating and how his parents defended it. So he cut them off for years until they realized what they did was wrong.
The other part was where ex wife tried to convice everyone that she was pregnant with ops kid. Only in the original her AP was a bad person. The AP's ex wife adopted the child when it was proven to be her exs because they were trying for a baby but she couldnt have one. Once adopted she divoced him and got custody of their adopted son.
