Story 1: Man that's crazy at age 50, being married for 30+ years, and decided cheated on her husband with a lazy leech. It's always the "I was so lonely! You weren't home! The affair partner sneaked their way in" excuses. Have some self control. Then of course Jenni started pulling the "Think of all the years we spent together!" girl where was that when you banged Marcus? Then all that BS with the guilt. Jenni's only feeling guilty due to her being caught, because she was acting perfectly fine when the affair was thought to be a secret, and even got annoyed with her husband for being around more often (something she was complaining about beforehand).

In story one it was nice that the husband covered for the jewelry shop keeper. However, I’m curious about why the wife bought an expensive ring for the AP if he was already having to persuade her to continue the affair. It makes no sense to gift things to those sorts of people unless they are blackmailing you or you are trying to buy them into continuing the relationship. Also she needs to own up to her actions. She can’t blame everything on the affair partner. It takes two to tango.

Story 1: I hope that there's another update to which he's finally divorced with Jeni and to find this story. Anyways, Jeni and Marcus are 2 big POSs. Jeni for cheating on OP, throwing away 30 years of marriage, sleeping with a married man, and betraying her best friend. Marcus for being a leech, cheating on Leena, and sleeping with a married woman. OP really should look into those red flags. I don't get why he would still give Jeni a diamond pendant after finding out her affair as he could given her the envelope as a supposed present. Plus he should kicked Jeni out of the house as I'm guessing that he's the breadwinner and Jeni is a sahw/m. Plus he should gone to that meeting with the kids to make sure that Jeni wasn't going to lie to them as many cheating women do that. I don't get why Jeni would give her loser AP a Sapphire ring, OP should have ask about that. Jeni is definitely responsible for the affair as she agreed to it and wasn't forced to do so. Loneliness is no excuse to cheat especially after 30 years and that she encouraged OP to go for the job. She's mostly likely been cheating throughout her marriage.
